The Hero
Chapter 221 Roy Here

A month passed quickly since Javier last spent time with Dana. It's almost the end of the year, so it's busy everywhere. People are preparing for spring break or cleaning, but work continues for office workers. There are still a few days left until the holidays.

As an office worker, Javier started to get busy as well despite being the boss. He does not need to prepare items for the holidays but he needs to prepare an annual bonus for his company employees.

After leaving the office, he went to the bank. The floor manager, who was dressed modestly, greeted him with a smile.

"Hello Sir. What kind of service do you need?”

"I want a haircut." Javier teased when he saw the floor manager was quite pretty.

The floor manager, named Sally Kearn, froze and asked awkwardly, “Master, can you repeat it yourself? I'm afraid I didn't catch it.”

Javier replied, “Didn't you ask me what I need? I need a haircut. It will be a new year, so I need a cooler hairstyle.”

Sally frowned. “I'm sorry for not making myself clear, sir. I mean, do you need to withdraw or deposit money? Maybe take care of some other banking affairs?”

Polite attitude. Banks nowadays are all about professional smiles. There is no longer a case of judging someone by what they wear. Because the manager has a good attitude, Javier stopped teasing him.

“I'm here to withdraw some money.”

Sally nodded.

“Sure, Sir. We suggest you use an ATM if it is under 3,000 dollars, but if it is more than that, please take the number and wait your turn in the lounge.”

“What if more than 30,000 dollars?” ask Javier.

Sally replied, “If you withdraw more than 30,000 dollars at a time, the bank declares that you must make an appointment the day before. If you didn't do it yesterday, I can do it for you now, but you can only withdraw the money tomorrow.”

Javier issues an "oh" and asks, "Do big clients have withdrawal limits?" Sally paused for a moment, suspecting Javier was deliberately playing a trick on her.

“If you are a big client of our bank, we have an exclusive service for you, but we need you to show your bank card.”

Javier nodded and took the card, giving it to Sally.

Sally is really stunned now. He had just thought Javier was playing him, but he actually took out his bank card. Furthermore, he managed to open the door of the VIP room smoothly when swiped. This proves that Javier is an important client of the bank.

After leading Javier in, Sally made him coffee and left the lounge. He still feels that Javier

it may be a corporate accountant who has a corporate bank card and thus can enter the VIP room.

There was also the possibility that he was a rich heir, but he did not think it was possible. Rich heirs, according to his experience, are quite arrogant, certainly not as polite as Javier. The latter even told him that he could make his own coffee and there was no need to bother him when he made it.

Her polite demeanor was something Sally thought a wealthy heiress would never have. Reality proves his assumptions are right. A rich heir will never be so polite.

Sally welcomes other big clients later who are around Javier, but she wears Louis Vuitton on her waist, Armani on her body, and she rides a showy and hot-tempered Hummer H2 like her owner.

Sally knew the man. There are probably not many young people in the city who do not know him

.

He is Roy Benning, heir to Millenia Supermarket, the largest supermarket chain in Clouston. He is a rich and arrogant man. A few years ago, he was stopped by police, who wanted to check if he was drunk driving, and he threatened to run over officers. Everyone thought it was a joke until the traffic police officer died in a car accident the next day.

The driver who did so had escaped and was still roaming around years later. Roy publicly said that it was he who hired the driver to do so, but when police used this information to investigate him, he changed his statement and said that he was only boasting while drinking.

No one could do anything to him, so he continued to brag about it after being released, causing young people throughout the city of Clouston to know about his arrogance. There is even a saying that describes itself perfectly. "You're brash, but are you more brash than Roy Benning?" That day, Roy visited the bank.
