Chapter 177 No One Will Save You

Stone could not be bothered to explain what he had just done that caused Thorin's confusion.

Instead, he immediately said to Harold, “Remember to pay off all the debts you claim you will settle before you get out of here. You state that all expenses here tonight will be covered by you, so settle them on the counter. If not, I'll make sure you finish it at your home!”

Stone was a member of the underground circle, so of course, he didn't mean it when he said he was going to Harold's doorstep to finish his bill.

So, as much as Harold was unhappy with his situation and how confused he was, he could only suppress the anger he felt and walk out of the room under the public gaze. Most importantly, he still had to pay for everyone's expenses there that night, which most of them shared in laughing at him.

Luca instantly panicked, “Javier...Javier! I can't afford it!”

Javier laughed out loud. “Bas a stupid idiot, will I ask you to pay now that you're one of my men? This will be your place to manage from now on. Stone will be your support, so I want you two to manage this place well. It doesn't matter how much you make, as long as you don't make me lose. The little money you make here won't mean anything to me. I just don't want to have to bear the name to be royal!”

Stone was there during the conversation, so she instantly felt a chill run down her back when she heard what happened.
