It took the foolish courage of the guards to deny Javier entry. He did not know why the first one thought it was a good idea and he did not care. What Javier really wanted to do right now was to get rid of the guard as far away from him as possible and obediently.
However, before she could act, Suzanne walked over to the guards, who immediately gave her a grin that aimed to please.
“Oh, you must be our honored guest from Yuzuia!”
Finding the words of the guard unheard, he turned to Javier curiously. She translates the guards words for him, and Suzanne puts her hand on the guards cheeks so hard that her hat slides up tilted. Blue eyes stared at her own direction, widened in confusion due to her reaction.
"Take this! Warning from China!” Suzanne growled at Elizabethan at the guard who was looking, looking as confused as ever. As seen, the guard was also not good at speaking the same language…
Still, his linguistic ignorance does not necessarily represent his compatriot. The CEO of Heinfensmirtz Inc. rushed towards the entrance. His name was Adolf Lenz, and he was someone who could understand. As soon as he walked out the door and saw Javier—the man he had been chatting with via video call—he grinned and waved enthusiastically.
He then turned around and asked the guard what the problem was. The latter recounted the incident, and Adolf observed the folds in his shirt sharply.
He is a man of status. He could not react with his fists, so he handed it to the captain of the security team.
“I think he needs a deep lesson, sir. And it will be our parting gift for her as well, considering we don't need her presence anymore.”
He then ordered, “Look, this is what we don't need: We don't need a guard who resists luck on the doorstep. You can tell her thank you for the service, but no, thank you.
The word "deep lesson" involves piercing the stomach of the breaking guard with the blunt end of the stick, which does convey the message quite well.
After doing so, Adolf again showered Javier with warmth and fanfare, punctuated with a heartfelt apology for his previous accident. He kissed the back of Suzanne's hand, consoling the young woman with the highest courtesy at Garman's side.
He personally led the two inside, showing them to the office building. While they were on their way, Adolf asked about the purchase agreement.
“That's enough to secure your place as CEO, in my opinion,” Javier replied with a smile.
"We hope it's enough to qualify as a windfall or a boon."
“Award? Like a gift from the gods of yore?” said Adolf.
Javier nodded, and the man held his own hand, beaming.
“Oh, then you are more than qualified, my friend. You are truly a gift! Thank you, thank you so much for choosing us!”
This abundance of praise paved their way to a lavish conference room reserved only for VIPs. Once they were inside, Adolf began to think about the details of Javier's purchase.
Instead of answering him, Javier let Suzanne do the talking. No self-respecting CEO of a leading business group would skimp on their Elizabethan language proficiency, and Adolf was no exception. It would be a shame for a business leader to rely on their secretary concurrently as an interpreter all the time. He had no problem deciphering the ins and outs with Suzanne in Elizabethan.
The exact explanation of the young woman was—evidence of her identity as an expert—reveal. The jargon used only by field experts and old users of such equipment peppered the conversation, and its knowledge surpassed that of new people.
His blue pupils were filled with confusion. His mind did the calculations on the back of the envelope, and he guessed that the sales that would be made would surpass the 700 million mark! By the time he finished his list, Adolf was so fascinated that he could tap dance right then and there. The only reason he didn't do it was because it was inappropriate for a man in his fifties!
But God, he couldn't possibly hold back his euphoria either. “Yes my God, my friend! You are the smile that Fortuna bestowed on me! If I were a girl, I would marry you like a princess marrying a charming prince!” exclaim Adolf.
“But darling, I am just a man who cannot possibly be compared to your colleague, a beautiful female intellectual of the highest level. But what a gift – really is your gift! What a gift! A fortune worth an ode! Life glory Fortuna!”
Adolf was overjoyed, but praiseworthy, he had not left all the attention or stopped focusing on what was to come next.
Even the most convincing dream is just a dream before it is poured into a legally binding contract written in black and white. He needed Javier to write a purchase agreement in advance, as well as deposit some funds to produce the equipment.
When his mind was clear, Adolf was indirect and reserved, and his tone begged Javier to understand. The latter understood the man's intentions, of course - Adolf was only worried Javier was just a cake that fell from the sky. Something too good to be true is also interesting to be real. He was not against signing the purchase agreement in advance, but there was one minor dispute ...
Come on, where are the rebates and bonuses earned with bulk purchases of this caliber, huh? Even Martha Marketplace will give its customers an extra potato or two if someone buys their goods in bulk!
Javier's intent caught Adolf's attention, reminding him. Purchases worth more than a billion without additional benefits are inappropriate in business, let alone in the case of Javier, as he has purchased every piece of equipment Heinfensmirtz Inc. has to offer in the market. The client is also entitled to some form of rebate.
He called his finance department to do some calculations and finally agreed to give a 17.4% rebate%. When it comes to a one billion dollar deal, it means a 174 million dollar rebate.
Nonetheless, Heinfensmirtz is the longer end of the stick. The development of medical equipment is commercially similar to the development of drugs. The cost of raw materials needed may not even cost 10 million dollars. The cost of the price pays the cost required for the R&D process. Take vaccine development as an example. The cost of making a vaccine may be staggering, but the price of one dose is often much more expensive than that. People basically pay for the effort and money spent on the R&D process.
Javier's position is very similar to that of an early investor. If each vaccine sold for ten dollars or less, who knows how long it will take him to finally get his investment back! It was a fact he was aware of, which in turn forced him to aggressively slash the price he had to pay. In the end, he managed to get a 32%— rebate - almost double that of Adolf's original offer!
Javier's insistence may have ruined the total amount Heinfensmirtz Inc.'s made, but it was offset by an equally compelling compensation: "I'll pay you in full when every piece of equipment has arrived!"
This will be a siren song for most companies. No one will say no to money paid in full, and everyone prefers to pressure their clients relentlessly to pay off their installments over a long period of time.
Javier is as friendly as his Hildegardan counterpart. Once Adolf agreed, he transferred 100 million as a deposit. Receiving such a large and powerful sum renewed Adolf's euphoria that he embraced Javier and hugged him tightly! Had the man been slower to shout about his gratitude, Javier would have mistaken his sudden act as an attack and countered with a shoulder-throw.
Suffice it to say, Adolf was thrilled, and Javier shared the same carefree spirit.
“You know what this is for, Mr Godsend? It's a call for a delicious party, haha! Of course, it means soiree in modern terms, but it will be your honor, because you are my most precious guest, ” Adolf said.
“However, before that happens, I have to tell a secret cabal of ruffians who dreamed of my downfall known as my 'board of directors' about this business deal. I will push this contract to their *sses, bwahahaha!”
He swung a punch to Javier's chest with great excitement. In return, Javier hits him back.
“Owh, that's... really great, my dear Kersey...” Adolf hoarse, his face reddish.
“I'm afraid I'm quite sorry for the action.my last celebration is now. Oh yes, I am very sorry..indeed.”.
