When Javier buys his new place, he moves in and doesn't live with Jade anymore. Afraid she misunderstands why she wants him to move out, Jade repeatedly explains to her that she has no intention of ruining their relationship.
Catherine on the other hand was quite reluctant for Javier to leave because she had secretly helped him several times during her time there. Catherine came from a rural mountainous area and had relatively poor relatives. She is the only town resident who has married into a wealthy family and ended up becoming a wealthy housewife. That's why everyone came to him for help.
Yet despite his seemingly noble status, The Odells treated him worse than a dog, so he didn't help much.
Things were different when Javier was living with them. Someone who came to Catherine to ask for help, whether it was big or small, Javier was able to take care of all of them. It makes Catherine feel good. And the effect on the man is getting better.
After the last meal at Jade's place, Javier packed up and left. He went to the new house he bought.
Over the next month and a half, everything went well. Jade takes over Odello Corp. without interruption and Matthew seems to be behaving just plain. Everything went well.
One day, Javier glances at the date and remembers that his maturity ceremony is imminent. After a quick calculation, he concluded there were only 20 odd days left.
In other words, he should be on a "business trip" in about 20 days from now . For how long though. It could be a few days, it could be a few months. It all depends on how things are going between him and the old fox. After all, when she left home all those years ago, she had a rather bad relationship with the old man. Mackenzie has mentioned that the old fox misses her.
As he thought about Kersey, his phone rang. Chad's on the phone. When he answered the call, Chad asked, “Master. Kersey, Sky Loft called me to ask why we appointed a new company as a sales agent and whether it was one of Odello Corp's new companies.”
Javier was confused by this question. Odello Corp. has been busy with recent acquisitions. How could it possibly branch out and set up a new company? He quickly notices and quickly tells Chad to look into the new company. At the same time, he calls Jade and tells her to check the company's latest sale.
Soon, Chad came back with the answer. "Founded. Dunham Group support company.”
Jade made a surprising discovery as well.
"I didn't notice if you didn't ask me to check it. 40% of our sales were secretly transferred and 60% of the funds were diverted somewhere. I don't even know where!"
What happened at Odello Corp. fully confirmed Javier's earlier guess.
Jade had just taken over the company and had only been one of the higher executives for a few days, so she was still a stranger to the company. Taking advantage of that fact, Matthew then took on the role of corporate mouse while diverting sales and funds. Simple plan. Since he could not hold Odello Corp's shares and become chairman, he would vacate the corporation. When the new company is built, Matthew will make himself the sole shareholder and chairman—using sales from Odello Corp.!
'Beautiful and delicate game, steal stocks indirectly!'
Sitting in his office, Javier lit a cigarette and handled the matter carefully. Based on the current sale and the transferred assets, Matthew had basically absorbed 50% of Jade's shares. That's half of everything he has. If the business deal with Sky Loft is not tampered with, they will only find out about this bomb when it is too late. The Odello Corp. Jade was holding could have been a blank bullet back then!
The trick is confusing and even a little silly because as Chad says, there is evidence that the company is linked to the Dunham Group. Whatdoes thatmean? This means that Matthew the mouse has smuggled all the fish he stole from Jade to Zayn the fox and may feel quite successful about it at this time…
“Is Matthew Odell shameless? I didn't throw him out because of Grandpa. Yet he planned behind my back and foolishly gave our company to an outside thief? Was he hit in the head ?! ”
"We can't say for sure, but Zayn might have directed it that way."
By the way, Zayn's pretty sneaky. He is the person Odello Corp wants to be, but he has not shown himself and has made Matthew do all the dirty work for him. He only needed to open his mouth and wait for Matthew to throw his things away.
It's catchy. He did not reveal himself but he remained behind all the problems. Nice work!
Even so, Javier was in no hurry to answer. Matthew is the one Javier wants to beat once and for all.
“We will make a report to the police if there is no way to do it. Matthew there must be evidence available. He won't escape!”
Jade's advice was valid, but it wasn't a good idea. Javier explained, “We can do that and the police will open an investigation, but it will take time. And that period of time was enough for Dunham to digest whatever they managed to get and Matthew was made a scapegoat.”
Jade was furious when she was reminded. He did not understand what Matthew was thinking. Did he really think that Zayn would be so kind as to help him?
As he is swayed by his anger, Javier tells him, "Call Matthew and have him come to your place tonight."
Jade is confused but under her insistence, she does as she is told, Javier then takes her to a cottage in the countryside.
There was an old man in his seventies who was plowing the ground in the southwest corner of the front yard. Jade was stunned when she saw the old man.
"Grandfather?!"
The old man was none other than Jade's grandfather and Matthew's father, John Odell!
On the night that Jade completed the quarterly agreement, Javier had received a call. It's from John. The old man had stated that he wanted to use his illness as an opportunity to get rid of the family snake. His loss and will is part of the plan.
"Grandfather, have you been secretly watching us all this time? That is why the document to split the shares appeared so timely.”
After a brief chat with John, Jade recounted what Matthew was doing. When John learns that so many sales and assets have been lost through secret transfers, he is furious
"Stupid. What folly. He cut his own flesh and gave it to Dunham! He's stupid, “Come, take me to him. I'm gonna ask this idiot about what he thinks he's doing?”
