Chapter 82 Becoming a Rogue

With legs crossed, Javier was sitting leisurely in a chair in the finance room as the seller ran frantically. "mister, the woman.disappeared!"

The owner was surprised. He hopes Neve brings an 8 million dollar card and continues to raise his price. How did he just leave?

Finance staff speak up, “The card is still here. The money is still in our account. Maybe she went to the bathroom..”

As the three of them wonder where Neve is going, Javier has no interest in the matter.

Where did Neve go? Easy-he has escaped!

If he didn't want to embarrass himself, the easiest way for him would be to escape and then ask for the money back through Matthew's connections later. He would then triumphantly declare, “I have something urgent coming that day, so I didn't waste my time to play around with you!"

He did not need to spend a penny and would save his dignity. She might sing a song in her heart, 'Huh, buy a house that's too expensive huh?'

A fool who thinks they're smart enough like Neve is probably the only one who can play a little trick like this.

"good. Since you don't want to follow the rules in the game, I don't mind teaching you another lesson about the same story!

“McCool, I have an agent here who handles the used property. Take it and close it.

Making a call in front of the seller and financial staff, Javier then goes inside the house, while they look anxious. He understands what he's thinking. He was worried that he would suddenly back out of the purchase and burst his happiness bubble.

That was what seduced the owner woman in his mind. “Pak, I know that I shouldn't ask for this amount but we are really having a hard time as a family and have a lot of debt. My son is still in the hospital. Why don't you just pay 630 grand? I'll cut the price in half, okay? ”

That woman was really scared. He could not afford to offend someone who could throw 1.25 million dollars in a fight while his family went bankrupt. His gaze at Javier pleaded, begging him not to turn him down.

Javier did not rush to answer his question, but instead asked, "Is your son really in the hospital?"

The owner did not lie. He then took out a stack of receipts from his wallet and the hospital bill he had just paid today. "I also have a doctor's letter. My kids-“

And for Neve who wants a refund? He can dream!

Neve, who escaped, picks up her phone and blocks the owner's number.

Neve put the thing down and immediately shouted, “Dad! Daddy's! Comehere! there's something I want to tell you !"

As soon as he asked Matthew to come to him, he told him about what happened today. Matthew's eyebrows furrowed tightly. “I don't even need to ask to know that Jade must have given him money. He may find out that you want to buy the place and get Kersey to fight for him.”

Neve wasn't really mad because her attention was only focused on the 1.15 million dollars she had put in.

"Dad, use your connection and help me get my money back!"

“You are the person to talk to. How old are you now? Wasting money to show how rich you are ... You must grow ... "

Right after advising Neve, Matthew called a real estate agent through his connections. After going through two to three contacts, he finally managed to contact the agency boss

Matthew first exchanged words with the boss before he wanted Neve's 1.15 million dollar return .

"Huh, is this the problem? Sorry, I won't be able to help. My small company has just been acquired.”

Matthew initially thought it was no big deal until he heard that the company had been bought. His eyes widened in disbelief. He suspected the man was greedy and wanted to keep the money

However, the boss later told him that his company had actually been taken over and the takeover appeared to have been done by Beacon Tires…

Hang up the phone, Matthew's eyes sparkle. Jade is cruel. He had forced them into a corner by setting up a huge trap and burying his 1.15 million dollar daughter.

When Neve is told what has happened, she yells and whines, yelling about suing Jade for fraud. And he doesn't just talk about it either. He immediately called their lawyer to their place.

"I want to sue him. I have to sue him! He and his driver are rotten. Throw them both behind bars. Keep them there for about eight or ten years!”

The lawyer gasped. "MST. Odell, the case can only be filed against the agency but the agency has been closed. They're just going to make random people legitimate people for the agency and there's basically nothing we can do.

"Without assets on behalf of the legislature, it is useless even if the court freezes their assets."

Neve couldn't believe it. "You mean I lost 1 million dollars plus just like that?"

There's nothing else we can do. "If you sue them for not returning the money, the law can hold them for 15 days twice a year."

“What will be achieved  ?! Neve wanted to cry out of frustration. How can they be assholes? They took the money, acquired the company, and closed it all at once. It was just unexpected!

"Dad!"

Sticking his feet with a frown, Neve looked at Matthew hoping he would find a way to remember his 1.15 million dollars.

Matthew could only look at her. It's no use. No matter how angry they are, there is no solution.

"F*ck, we're out of luck this time. We will soon get more from Jade!”

Neve remembered what they had done in secret recently and nodded. He gritted his teeth and shouted, "This time, we have to make sure that Jade is completely obliterated so that he won't be able to return forever!"
