The Hero
Chapter 141 You're a Great Villain

Javier got out of the car, wondering. He quickly noticed the groggy taste in Jade's eyes that was half-open-proof that she had just woken up.

When asked why he hadn't slept, he replied, “I went to the toilet, then I heard mobilmj, looked out the window, and there it is! I know you will stay here rather than return home because you do not want to wake me up, so.here I am, officially welcome you home!”.

Javier felt a warmth in his heart. Then, his eyes floated to a glimpse of the mass peering from his decolletage, and his groin felt an even stronger warmth. “Yah, okay. Did I wrongly assume your urgency was hiding a mischievous motive? ”

When he saw Javier's burning gaze on his neck, Jade flushed slightly. “Ugh! Excuse me!”

Despite being 27 years old, Jade acts like a 17-year-old who has a big, bashful crush on the boy next to her. Surprisingly, it perfectly matched his vibration.

Javier's eyes followed the young woman as she timidly disappeared into the lobby. He immediately locked his car and followed.

They hugged each other tightly as soon as they stepped into the elevator. No one said a word. None of them made any more moves. However, they could feel how much they missed each other with how tightly they squeezed each other.

Javier coughed loudly as soon as he entered his house, which shocked Jade into an earthquake. “Hey, what is it for?” He rebuked her in a low tone. "You're gonna wake Ing up!"

Javier gave her a short smile without a word and climbed the stairs to their room with Jade. The cough was intentional; it was a calm signal to Ingrid about his safe return and a way to tell him he had nothing to worry about anymore.

In a nearby bedroom, a smile appeared on Ingrid's lips before she rolled to the side and went to sleep quietly. He has been concerned about Javier's safety as Javier leaves for the past few days, his feelings no different than the feelings of a veteran older sister caring for her less experienced brother. In contrast to the tranquility of this society, Hyliveskia is a bona fide war zone.

And nothing in the bullet of war or anything that cares about which life is more precious than another.

Meanwhile, Jade pushes Javier into the bathroom in their room. “Okay, where have you been?! You stink! Or rather, you sting!”

Of course the aroma stings—he smells of gunpowder. There is no place to bathe on the battlefield.

Javier has a better idea. He wouldn't shower just because of that. Instead, he lifted the young woman into his arms and ran into the bathroom, protesting. "Negative! I've taken a shower, so I don't need to take another shower!”

Jade wants to escape, but Javier manages to trap her in their bedroom as she takes off her clothes excitedly. He then kicked it.

Suddenly, an expression of pain flashed across Jade's face before she started to turn her body around.

He was examining the long horizontal scar on his back. Just seeing her was enough to make her cry. "What happened, baby? Why is this... long scar running down your back?”

He hugged Javier tightly. “What happened, Javier? Why are there so many scars on you? Where Have You Been?!"

Warm tears wet Javier's skin. He felt more heat from them than he should, to the point that every individual drop seemed to burn his chest. However, at the same time, Jade's clear expression of anxiety and panic worries made her feel warm and fuzzy inside.

He was the only one who could make her feel an intense warmth and alarming worry.

He kissed her softly. “I'm fine, Jade. Lookatme. I'm here! I'm fine."

It took a moment of sympathy to stop Jade's tears and calm her worries. Then, Jade helps the bath, cleaning every nook and indentation from head to toe. It was a meticulous full-body service— that quickly humiliated Javier.

“Jade, I can do it myself. I feel a little bit like a cripple, if you're like this. ”

"No other word from you!" She suddenly looked up and stared at him sharply before returning to clean her calves attentively, worried that anything less would cause a wound infection.” You are reckless and careless with yourself, so I will do it for you. That way, we don't have to worry about infection.”

Jade cares about a mistake. It was hard to imagine a woman with her amazing attributes might be able to be so attentive. On the contrary, there are many women who consider appearance to be slightly above average giving them the right to indulge in excess. Instead of taking over kitchen tasks, doing laundry, and other homework, they hone their anger-wasting skills and spending other people's money. And don't forget their amazing way to break up with one guy because they found another guy who could spoil them more.

Compared to Jade, these girls were trash.

Jade is an angel. Beautiful in appearance, and even more so in her heart.

Of course, Javier knew his heart was already his at this moment. What he wanted was his body instead, which was the best thought to follow up with now ...

The couple had just come out of the bathroom at about four in the morning. Jade's face completely blushed pink as she threw a weak and timid punch towards Javier. "You're a big bad guy!"

Javier noticed his haughty steps and grinned. "Why am I so bad, exactly?" He teases.

"Why don't you ask yourself!" He snorted and threw another punch at him.

Fearing that he might hurt her, she pulled back most of her strength and ended up pushing him without commitment instead ...
