Tonight, Rachel felt a void. He sat in the room in solitude.
The story of his life began to appear in the memory of his brain like a movie from the time he was a child to grow up. His life path is not easy. It results from a broken home product with a dilapidated family environment. After her parents divorced, Rachel was left alone with her sister Anna.
Dad only sent very minimal amounts of money for two years in a row. To be able to stay alive, Rachel must be smart to play money and suppress many unimportant needs.
It was no stranger when she had to endure hunger at the end of the month just to keep her sister eating. Their money is not enough to finance both. Because of this, Rachel often gave up.
After she graduated high school, Rachel had no desire to go to college. He applied for various jobs and managed to become a waitress in a restaurant.
That's when Rachel's life felt better. Money from his job is enough to finance his sister until now Anna is studying at a state university.
Rachel is not a spoiled person. His bones were trained from the time he was a teenager. Pain has become his daily food.
For Rachel, happiness was something very luxurious. Then he met Harry. It was then that the rainbow touched Rachel's life in all sorts of colors.
Harry was the flowing water he found in his thirst. She comes when Rachel is in a void. That's why even though Harry's attitude is too selfish and rarely acknowledges his existence, Rachel still accepts it with air.
Because for Rachel, Harry's existence is a rope that makes him still able to smile and feel like he has someone. For the size of women who are often lonely, the presence of a man is certainly a staple.
He never thought Harry would abandon himself at the wedding. Eventually, he was caught in Maxen's grip.
That's when Rachel's life began to change. Harry's existence increasingly feels pseudo and replaced by the figure of Maxen. With her, Rachel went through a lot of happy things. Valued, honored, adored, recognized, and accepted.
Maxen gave him a paradise that even Harry could not afford. He offers the world in his grasp, offers faithfulness in his speech, offers the affection he is willing to give.
Maxen introduces Rachel to something people call love. Makes Rachel understand the true meaning of life and guides her along to all dreams.
Happy life. So perfect. She even managed to conceive a child of Maxen. What else can he demand from God? All things Rachel managed to have in such a short time.
But apparently, life still wants to attract her. The facts about Maxen started popping up and it was very painful. Maxen turned into a dark figure he never expected.
Rachel was getting scared. He's like he's stuck in a very dark hole. The facts about Maxen seem to be his biggest scourge.
How could he live with someone like that? Could it be that everything Maxen did to him was insincere? Could it be that he could kill Rachel out of the blue if he accidentally made a mistake one day?
Her baby. The baby she was carrying. Will Maxen do bad things to their children?
Rachel hissed slowly. He covered his face with a palm and took out an expletive. Rachel wants to go, run, as far as possible. But he doesn't know where to go. Running to Alice's house won't help either. His mind will get more and more chaotic there. Honestly, Rachel doesn't want any more bad information about her husband. His mentality was shaken enough.
All she thought about was her baby. He wants this fetus alive. Being by Maxen's side is starting to scare Rachel. If the man is able to kill baby Alice, it is not impossible that Maxen will finish Rachel and her child.
No. gabe. He doesn't want everything to be destroyed. He doesn't want his son in danger. He doesn't want to live on one roof with a blood-soaked man.
God, what should Rachel do? He stood up, twisted his body, and stared at every corner of the room in the void. Could it be that he has to go? Rachel has a lot of cash since she married Maxen. He was also given a car. Maybe he can use the facility for the crucial time like now. Wouldn't cash be hard to track? But again, Rachel was confused where to go.
If he leaves, he also leaves Anna. It wasn't enough time to take her sister away. All of this made Rachel more in a dilemma.
Anna was the last part of the family she recognized. Leaving him is an impossibility. So, weakly, Rachel sat back down and calmed down.
Inevitably, Rachel was trapped in this place. He would be a passive spectator seeing all the developments that were happening. That is his only role at the moment.
That was when the door of the room suddenly opened. Rachel is caught watching Maxen arrive. Why did that guy come so quickly? Rachel was still unable to calm the mood.
"Are you okay?" ask Maxen to worry. Rachel's face looked pale. Could there be a problem with her pregnancy?
Maxen walked over, sitting next to his wife still in a formal suit. He grabbed Rachel's cold hand. That woman looks more and more fucked up. His hands were stiff and his eyes refused to be approached.
Maxen's sharp instincts say something must have happened. She grabs Rachel's chin and forces her to face off.
"What's up, honey?" maxen asked to know.
"It's okay. I just want to be alone," she refused subtly. Rachel grabbed his hand back, letting Maxen's hand slip. Rachel stood up and walked away from Maxen.
"Rachelorette. I know there's something you're hiding. What's the matter exactly?" maxen asked to hold back his wife.
Rachel who had already grabbed the doorknob turned back and looked at Maxen with pain. He seemed ready to leave at any moment. His body was weak and looked depressed.
"Maxen, I'd like to ask you a question. If me or our son, one day make a mistake, do you," Rachel closed her eyes in despair. "are you going to kill us?"
The question was like a sharp knife that tore through Maxen's consciousness. He looked at his wife for a long time and found seriousness in Rachel's eyes.
The atmosphere turned miserable in silence. Rachel's question creates a deep void in conscience. Tearing off Maxen's emotions in surprising ways.
"Kill?! Kill?!" Maxen shouted furiously.
Rachel stood in fear. He clasped the side of the door tightly, as if it could save him.
Rachel's face is getting louder. He bit his lower lip with all his might, making a drop of blood come out with a taste like iron.
"Have Harry said anything bad about me?" tanyanya seriously. Klayver's eyes asked for honesty.
Rachel nodded weakly. Both of his hands were shaking violently. He tries to pull his hand but is held firmly by Maxen.
"No. I just ... just …." Rachel's words stopped. He sobbed softly, letting out a heart-wrenching moaning sound.
Maxen grabbed his wife, pulled a frail body in front of her and kissed her intensely. He didn't let Rachel rebel at all. He locked Rachel in all positions, making the woman inevitably lean on him.
After satisfied exploring, Maxen releases his wife and caresses Rachel's blonde hair.
"Do you think I can kill the woman who is the center of my world?" Maxen asked cynically. He was devastated in an incredible way.
Was Rachel never able to judge all her actions? Does the love he expresses have no meaning at all?
"How can I kill a man I would die for? If we were stuck in a situation and could only save two lives, those two lives would be yours and ours." Maxen beekata with bitter. He just went and left the room.
All this time Maxen thought he had meaning for Rachel. After all the nights they've been through. After the union they had. Now, he he was faced with a bitter reality. His own wife wasn't big enough to believe it.
Thousands of hopes have been given to their lives. Maxen's delusion soared and began to string together millions of minpi. In her deepest heart, she supposes Rachel is able to accompany and complete all her shortcomings.
In fact, she is still like a woman in general. A woman who can doubt everything Maxen feels.
How could Rachel think she could kill that woman? Just imagine he's hurt Maxen can't. Especially taking his life. Impossible.
Rachel is the best jewel. Maxen put the value of the woman above her. It's just, it looks like Maxen's grades aren't like that in Rachel's eyes. Donning.
…
Maxen sat down with a bottle of beer in hand. He spent hours pondering in a private room. The clock shows the early hours. But Maxen's mind is not getting better, it's getting messy.
What Rachel had said just now imprinted strongly in her mind. She wants to get close to Rachel and reassure the woman, but feels reluctant.
Confidence and trust are matters of the heart. We can never force someone to believe if his little heart has refused. So, it's the same thing Maxen would do. Rachel still judged herself badly.
Supposedly from the start, Maxen realized there would be no woman good enough to accept him because he had the other side full of disability. His conscience has warned, but Maxen is too petrified and breaks through the rules.
Now, things have been against him. The woman he trusted turned around and retreated in order. Maxen wanted to reach, but could not get close. There was an invisible distance that Rachel had formed for them.
As time passed, Maxen decided to return to the room with a slightly unfocused look. Although he was not drunk enough, but the beer effect managed to rob some of the concentration of his brain.
The hallways of the mansion felt long and long to pass through. Maxen stopped at some point and tried to reassemble his concentration. After a long struggle, he finally managed to arrive at the door of the room.
Maxen breathed a sigh of relief as he managed to open the doorknob and realized his wife had not locked the door of their room. Maybe Rachel forgot, or maybe she started to soften.
Slowly, Maxen opened the door and entered the room. The dim light forced his eyes to adapt, adjust the focus of his pupils and adjust the situation accordingly.
Rachel lay sideways on the bed. Tonight he wears abstract-patterned cotton pajamas. A thick blanket covered half of his body from waist to ankle.
Without a sound, Maxen tried to get closer and climbed into the bed. Rachel's breath sounds restrained. His body stiffened and held back. In one glance, Maxen knew the woman had not slept and was still conscious to feel her presence.
Maxen steeled his resolve and stroked Rachel's shoulder gently from behind. His face hesitated a little before he finally decided to take a bold action. He threw himself on the bed, hugging his wife tightly.
"I love you, Rachel. Hugely. Don't you understand that?" In his kiss the woman who was near him wholeheartedly. He did not care about Rachel's body getting stiffened and trying to escape.
"Please don't rebel. Please let me hug you tonight. For God's sake, I'm not gonna hurt you. I swear on my life." Maxen wailed with tears. He poked his head in the hollow of his wife's neck and cried without a sound.
Rachel felt her heart getting messed up. He opened his eyelids slowly and felt a deep pain from Maxen's voice. Maxen's tears made the pajamas he was wearing felt moist.
Rachel has been waving so much pain that she is no stranger to meeting similar things. Right now, he felt a deep sense of despair from Maxen's cries.
Rachel didn't know what was pushing her. Maybe he got carried away, maybe also because of spontaneity. He turned his body, looked at Maxen's face which was emitting a beer scent and noticed his eyes full of wounds.
"Maxen," said Rachel, worried.
"Don't say anything. I don't want to fight anymore. Let me hug you now. I promise I won't ask you anything more." Maxen asked expectantly. He rubbed Rachel's back in a slow motion and hummed a sad song.
One of the talents that Maxen has in addition to business is vocal. He used to be in a special choir. His voice is masculine and very deep. In high tones it is also strong and the voice is stable. Makes the person who hears it feel carried away.
Rachel tried to close her eyes, choosing to let her husband act. It's not just Maxen who's in pain. Rachel is no different. They were two people who stuck with each other's bitterness. Maxen was hurt for not being trusted. Rachel is hurt by feeling lied to.
That's life. Sometimes what is valuable to us can hurt us deeply. There's nothing to blame. In this world, there was indeed something designed to clash with each other. Rachel and Maxen are real examples for now.
After twenty minutes passed, Maxen heard Rachel's regular breathing. He smiled slightly and strengthened his embrace.
His wife is now in his arms. Nothing is more important than that. Maxen doesn't care if the world ends tomorrow. During this night she was able to hold Rachel, everything felt worth sacrificing.
