The man with the face of James and Violin. Dark brown hair with golden eyes like an eagle. Luiz squinted, guessing pretty quickly.
"Klayvers. You came here too soon. How come?" asked Luiz a little not understanding. He looked back at the bodies of some of his guards not far from where he was standing. Luiz's lips screeched with disdain. If the guards are not acting, it might be better that they should be eliminated quickly. What's the point of having people***** that can only hold you back?
Not far from Klayver, stood a man with an ideal posture. He held a sharp weapon in the form of a dagger that was slightly longer than average. From here Luiz began to conclude the man was the killer of his bodyguards by scraping important points of body parts. The dagger was still dripping a deep red liquid. I don't know which blood the guard had taken.
Klayver used two handguns that he still held tightly in both hands. The muzzle of the gun really shows that the object has just been used to take some lives.
Luiz's anger grew. Seeing them eliminate many of his men inevitably made Luiz feel offended. Two people fought against dozens of bodyguards that Luiz had. So embarrasing.
"I can't let you hold my wife and mother for too long, Luiz. By the way, do you still use cliche reasoning in hunting me down? A long grudge because I've killed many of your trusted men." Clayver smiled slightly.
Klayver remembered the past. He had indeed killed many people who became the main characters in the Black Hell organization. Some of Black Hell's orgain children have often pursued Klayver. But they all managed to deal with Klayver easily. Presumably, this made Luiz, the main head of the Black Hell organization feel offended. So he decided to hunt Klayver down directly.
Klayver could not guess what Luiz had been doing all this time. He had a pretty reliable informant so Klayver got a lot of info on Luiz Martinez.
However, Klayver did not expect Luiz would choose to act crazy when Klayver was completing his affairs in recent months. Klayver missed the development of several important steps. He had no idea Luiz had chosen to slaughter his family while he was away. If you knew this, Klayver would have preferred to take care of Luiz earlier. Alice and Violin don't need to be held captive like they are now.
Lucky some time ago, Klayver sent Edward to check directly Alice's condition. Edward was one of Klayver's confidants. He immediately reported what he got. Edward managed to figure out with his skills if Alice was in a difficult condition. It took Edward two days to fully check Alice's whereabouts. Luiz hid Alice very close. Even so, Edward finally managed to detect Alice's whereabouts with the help of William. The old man who claimed to be Alice's butler. It was fortunate that the woman had a butler as good as William. Old age does not make the man weak and passive.
Klayver, who was informed of his wife's emergency situation, immediately flew to Manhattan and left the mission. He needs to save Alice as soon as possible. Not just Alice, but Violin as well.
"I'm actually just interested in holding Alice. Regarding Violin, it was the idea of your own father!" Luiz chuckled slightly, seeing the fleeting shock passing in Klayver's eyes.
"Dad?" Klayver doesn't understand.
"Yes, Klayver. I'm the one who wants Violin taken prisoner, too. It seems like all of that went well, before you finally came this fast and easily crippled Luiz's people. If I knew this, I would definitely have Luiz increase his security tenfold."
A man very familiar to Klayver walked slowly from behind Luiz. James is currently wearing a black suit with matching shoes. His face looks flat. It did not show the warm expression that was usually present when he saw his son.
Klayver squinted. He too often learned about the types of expressions of a person. At the moment Klayver is not too happy with the guess that began to be created in his brain.
"Dad," Klayver said in a cold tone. He's starting to be alert.
"You betrayed Mom. You betrayed us!" accuse Klayver directly without further ado.
Klayver is a killer who thinks fast. He can pinch something accurately. His brain is a machine that moves with sophistication.
"Yes. You're more perceptive and more careful than your mother!" James gave a small nod, confirming what his son had said.
A reality need not be covered up. Now or later Klayver will still know what James did. It was better for him to say it in person at the beginning of their meeting this time around.
"Why?"
That's all Klayver asked. This world is a place of mystery. Betrayal can just happen. Even from those closest to us. It's just that everything needs a motive and a reason. That's what Klayver wanted to know from his father. Someone who had been standing strong by his side and supporting the other family members.
"Because I have bigger ambitions. Your mother was just blocking my path. With him, I will only be a false shadow. In other words, I need a strong stand. There must be one of us getting out!"
"Address ya." Klayver nodded small. His expression was illegible. There was only a faint wrinkle on his forehead that immediately disappeared just like that.
The world has made Klayver learn many things. The dark business has brought Klayver to know a lot of people. The types of people who glorify ambition by justifying all means have existed for a long time.
Ambition is the spirit of one's determination. He can be an ardent but also sometimes adored indefinitely. When ambition is put higher than it should be, many human beings will do it all without caring about the moral boundaries.
Unexpectedly, James was one of those people stuck with ambition. Thirty-five years James married and had children, it turns out iq save big ambitions that make him bear to sacrifice his own family.
"You disappointed in me, Klayver?" James looked at his illegible son. Klayver has always been the only son he doesn't know how he feels. Everything Klayver felt was stored neatly in his heart. Everything Klayver thought was neatly stored in his brain. No he let some of his thoughts slip out and be seen by others. Like a system, he is a sophisticated machine that is difficult to break into.
"Loved?! Should I be disappointed that a man has such a dilapidated morale like you?" Klayver laughed sadistically. He toyed with the gun in his hand in a regular motion.
"Whatever I am, it's still your father."
"The father who sacrificed his own wife and child in the trap of the enemy? Why do we maintain the bond between father and son? Stop being a hypocrite, James. I'm not a person with a conscience to forgive people like you!"
Doooorrr
A shot just popped into James' chest. The man widened his eyes unexpectedly and retreated a few steps with a chaotic movement. He held onto his chest which started to bleed freshly. There was an immeasurable pain that James now felt.
Time stopped turning. James' eyes focused on Klayver, who was now seen holding a gun with his muzzle still pointed at him. The tip of the muzzle gave off a burning smell, indicating the object had just been used.
Slowly, James' body fell to the ground. His eyes still showed an expression of disbelief. His hands and feet felt numb and numb. The pain in his chest became many folds and felt like he had been stabbed by thousands of needles from hell. Slowly, James's eyes began to lose their light. There was no sign of life in the man's eyes. Before James' life was lost, there was only one question he had. Is this what it feels like to die? The pain is far from what people have been saying all along. Those moments of death were like when you were in the midline of a savage beast and they tore your body apart completely. Too painful.
Klayver looked at his father's body with a cold look. Edward who was standing not far from her could only gulp. He was shocked and did not expect Klayver to be able to kill his own father so easily. Fathers are still legally written in their family letters.
Frighteningly. That was the impression Edward had for Klayver. The man who raised his gun that easily was the man to watch out for. It is as if life has no meaning at all. Like dust flakes blown by the wind.
"You're meaner than your father. To sacrifice you and the Violin, James was still hesitant and still had an inner conflict. But easily, in a moment, you unhesitatingly closed James's breath of life. You deserve to have the nickname Eyes Evil. Because demon men like you have only a few in history!" Luiz commented on Klayver's actions.
In Luiz's life, he rarely found anyone without a heart and could act in just an instant. A person who is able to consider things briefly and decide to take important decisions in critical situations. Situations that don't even see if you're in contact with someone who's your own family or not.
"There are strong rules in my life. Never use a traitor. Even if he has the same blood as you!"
Klayver answered casually. It was as if what he had just done was a natural thing to him.
In Klayver's life, he had seen how dangerous a traitor was. Many men sacrifice their children for small things. Such a man would have no small impact. Thousands of hardships and millions of sufferings will be borne by his wife's children later only because of the husband's fault.
Klayver has seen many cases related to the grievous death of treason. That's why he was able to pull the trigger in a critical situation to fight James.
James is no longer his father. He was just a foreign man who happened to have the same blood and clashed desires. A man who is possessed by ambition and can do all the way to his goals.
There was no more light of love and warmth from James. No more sincere light from him. James' soul is no longer what it used to be. Such a person would only make things difficult for everyone if they were still allowed to escape. It could be Violin later who will be killed because of James' ambition. Klayver obviously didn't want to let that happen.
