The Rhyme of the Depositary

The Rhyme of the Depositary
030 - SEASON 2

Alice stunned. He didn't know how to respond to Klayver. Alice's face flushed in embarrassment. He looked down deeply, avoiding Klayver's laser-sharp gaze.

Klayver raised Alice's face, forcing her to look her in the eye directly. Alice vibrates. Feeling worried and misbehaving.

"Maxon …."

"Shhhh." Klayver held Alice's mouth shut so she wouldn't speak. He touched the tip of his wife's lips and rubbed it gently. Inwardly, he began to wonder how sweet these lips would be if he tasted them.

Slowly, Klayver scrunched her face and gently smacked Alice's lips. He moved expertly, from gentle to passionate. From persuasion to dominance.

Klayver pushed her body until Alice's back leaned against the wall. Alice's hand touched Klayver's bare chest. He flinched and opened his eyes in confusion. This reaction is too deep. Alice forgot about the world.

Klayver still doesn't let Alice go. He rubbed a small niche in the corner of Alice's neck and kissed her slowly. The kiss turned into an aggressive rumatam and made Alice sigh small.

Suddenly, Klayver stopped his actions and stared into his wife's two blinds. He rubbed the side of Alice's face and admired her soft texture.

"I'm not gonna charge you tonight. But remember, you owe me one night. I deserve to have you."

Klayver turned around and walked casually towards the bathroom. His steps were steady with no sound at all.

Alice stared at the man's departure with a bewildered look in both of her manics. He just this time found a complex man like Klayver. His emotions are illegible and his actions are difficult to guess.

Alice rubbed her face to restore the concentration that had collapsed. He stared at the floor with an empty look.

What's up with him? What's wrong with his body?

One day after her visit to Klayver's house, Violin decides to return to New York. He entered the mansion in the elite compound as the day began to evening. Dusk greeted his return with a beautiful orange light.

Violin entered the main gate escorted by a bodyguard. He waved at the main door, asking the bodyguards to leave him. Sometimes, being constantly plastered by them made Violin feel uncomfortable.

With a heavy breath, Volin entered the house that he had been in for six years. This large house carries an ancient Greek design. Many large pillars in each main room as a buffer house.

Familiar voices were heard from the direction of the middle room. Three people seemed to be drowning in laughter. A twenty-five-year-old woman, a twenty-eight-year-old man, and another man in his mid-thirties. Their faces bear resemblance to each other. Both of them were golden brown.

"Hi, Mom!" greet Angelica, Violin's youngest daughter.

"Hi, honey. Howwasyourday?" Violin's face softened at the sight of her children.

"Good, Mom!" Angelica greeted Violin with a warm smile.

Wilsen, the oldest child who has a facial line as hard as Klayver squinted at the tears of his mother's face. Although all Violin children have sharp intusions, Wilsen is the one who has the highest intusions among them. He could feel a hint of aura that others were hiding. Even though it's just vague.

"What news, Mom? So we're gathered together now?" John, a younger man chimed in.

Wilsen, John, and Angelica have long lived apart from Violin and James - their fathers - ever since they grew up.

But even so, they always gather in this house every time they celebrate big things or discuss something important. As a family, James and Violin tried to stay solid.

This morning, Violin had contacted all her children to gather at home. He just told them there was good news for them.

"Where's Dad? Let's make dinner and talk about some important things." Violin gave me advice.

Angelica gave a small nod, though was a little confused at the thought of dinner being proposed two hours early. It seemed like Mom did have some big news for her to pass on to them.

"Dad's in the study." Angelica pointed at a room not far from them.

Violin rushed away leaving them. His steps are steady, reflecting the confidence he has.

"Wilsen, what do you think Mom wants to talk about this time? Could it be that you're secretly getting married?" john was suspicious of his brother.

Angelica who heard John's apology looked at Wilsen questioningly. Could the allegations be true?

Wilsen gave Angelica instructions. Among the three of them, Wilsen was a person of such high dominance that it automatically became a mover for all of them.

Angelica gave a small nod, immediately walking towards the kitchen. He instructed some servants to quickly prepare dinner as soon as possible. No need for complicated dishes. The important thing is quite good and not too long cooked.

Half an hour later, the five of them sat around a round table in the dining room. James sat at the very end as the head of the family. She looked one by one at her children with a satisfied look.

Seeing them all grow up makes James proud. There is no greater gratitude than a father than to see his sons and daughters succeed through life well. All her happiness was perfect, except for one. There is one thing that is still incomplete in his life. Something he has always been looking for.

The dishes were served in front of them. Everyone started eating in silence. The sound of spoons and plates rubbing against each other, being the only background sound that fills the silence of the night.

"Tonight, Mom gathered you together because there's something you want to say." Violin, who was sitting next to James started to open her voice. He stared intensively at one by one his children. Estimating what response they would give, if he delivered this news.

Violin looked at James, asking for an opinion. She seemed to want to ask no voice to her husband, whether it was better for this news to be conveyed by her or her husband.

James squeezed Violin's hand slowly, encouraging his wife to deliver the news. Half an hour ago they talked about this. James was already able to capture the still sensitive mood of Violin.

"Last night, Mom found Tristan, your brother."

The news was thrown like a mine. Has an amazing explosive effect. Each of his children looked at each other in wonder, gathering the trust they had.

Is this news true? Could it be that Mom managed to produce such sweet results after so many years of searching? If true, hopefully all of this is not just empty hope. Something that comes only to be lost again.

"Really, Mom?" Wilsen was the first to successfully open his voice after a long silence.

Angelica who was sitting next to Wilsen could only resist crying and screaming hysterically.

Eventually, the missing hole between them was found. If fate wills, there may be a happy ending for all of them.

"Yes. Guess what Mom found? He lives in Manhattan and is married." Violin smiled wryly, recalling the scene where she was forced to threaten Alice to make Klayver return to Violin again.

"Married?" John and Wilsen asked simultaneously.

Tristan married? After all the tragedy that the man had, they had not expected a man like him would trust enough women to remarry.

"Yes." Yeah." Violin looks serious.

"How is he doing right now, Mom? Is she okay? How did he react when you first met him?" Angelica flocked her mother with many questions.

Mom took the napkin next to the plate and rubbed the tip of her lips slowly. She no longer had any appetite, even though the dish in front of her looked very tempting.

"Well, he's healthy, if that's what you're asking. But his life is still not much different from ours. Even the world Tristan chose was darker than ours. He is still nicknamed Eyes Evil, the same nickname since eight years ago." Violin explained at length.

The Leicester family belongs to a family that is involved in many illicit deals. They worked to facilitate the smuggling of illegal goods, nicotine, weapons, and also to develop prostitution. But they never worked as assassins. Klayver is the only one who dares to get off track and thrive by relying on the many basic instincts he has.

Currently, Violin had limited their business. However, the government is getting tighter so that legal snares are increasingly encouraged incentives. He focused his business solely on arms smuggling, the construction of casinos and bars in several countries.

Broadly speaking, the current Leicester family business is more on a legal business. Their roots have been firmly embedded so that their business is thriving with a very remarkable movement. Wilsen even began to develop himself in the IT world, while Angelica played on the property.

Although their family is slowly starting to withdraw from the dark world, but its strength is still worth reckoning. No one is looking for trouble with them.

"The reaction saw me of course he was angry. I was forced to use a slightly harsh way to subdue his pride so that he would come back to us." Violin was lightly raised, making all her children glance suspiciously.

Violin standards are always different from people in general. If he said 'a slightly harsh way', they wouldn't be surprised if the true meaning was 'too loud'.

"What are you doing, Mom?" Angelica felt bad. She was sure her mother had been acting rude this time.

"I only slightly threatened his wife with a gun. I told him if he didn't want to come back to us, then the last sight he'd see was his wife's scattered brain."

Angel, Wilsen, and John opened their mouths wide, dumbstruck in disbelief.
