Alice returns to Anson's house near midnight. His conversation with Daniel expanded widely and spent a lot of time. Daniel even offered a few sample cluster designs he had from one of his software as ideas Alice would choose for him. If you want to admit, Daniel is a pretty great discussion friend. Be open to listening to advice and experts provide solutions.
Had their relationship been as good as it used to be, Alice would have been tempted to take their relationship more seriously. It's just that after Anson's presence, Alice's appetite evaporated. All the focus he had was on Anson.
Alice was only greeted by a male servant standing guard. Everyone seemed to have fallen asleep. Some of the lights in the house seem to be out. Only a few rooms were left brightly lit.
Alice walked through one of the still-bright rooms. He was shocked, hearing the sound of scraping paper clashing against each other and the occasional keyboard typing sound from the room. A jazz music plays beautifully as a background sound. Alice stopped, knocked on the door twice and opened it carefully.
Anson was sitting with a stack of reports in front of the computer. Behind him seemed a shelf containing books and order lined neatly. Looks like this is Anson's workspace.
"So busy this late?" greet Alice friendly. Shouldn't Anson be thinking a little about her health considering she just got out of the hospital?
"Yes. You just got home?" anson looked unhappily.
"I talked a lot with my partner." Alice walked slowly towards Anson's chair.
"Daniel Stranger is indeed a person who is smart to create chatter," Anson replied cynically.
"You know I had dinner with him?" Alice asked in disbelief.
"You spying on me, Anson? Is that what you're doing? You don't trust me, do you?" Alice's tone was rising.
"I don't care about your business, Alice. I told you living in my house doesn't mean you're absolutely bound to me. But can you just keep your morals a little bit? Kimberly is getting close to you and you're pregnant with my son, please limit yourself a little. Find a better time for you to play your dirty game. Don't be so blatant. I don't want my daughter dragged down by your messed up morals." Anson stood around with a waist. His two hands crossed, showing his dominance.
"Anson. You didn't give me a chance to explain at all and directly accuse me as if I were an adulterer?" Alice shouted furiously. He pointed at Anson's chest.
"If I were you, I would definitely play neater!" anson doesn't want to lose.
Alice ran away from Anson, screaming in frustration. Anger, sadness and disappointment mixed into one. He immersed himself into the room that currently felt increasingly shrinking and stifling. This vast room now seemed to be suppressing his mental ruthlessly.
Slowly tears flowed down part of her face. A pathetic sound came out of his throat. His chest trembled withstanding all his emotions that had been stirred up.
Is that the kind of trust Anson has in him? Even with her condition without memory, Alice was still rated as low? How does that man actually think? Why of all his actions there is nothing right in Anson's eyes.
Alice lay down long enough. He spilled all his remaining emotions. Little by little his feelings began to improve and his mind went rationally again.
Their relationship is vulnerable. The smallest thing can be a trigger for misunderstanding. In a relationship, if all parties are ready to blame and blame each other, it will not meet an end point.
Alice managed her breathing slowly, as her yoga instructor had taught her. He has to fix this situation. He would try to talk to Anson after the man's emotions had dimmed a bit.
Alice changed clothes with cotton clothes. He turned back to the bed, and put an ear to wait for Anson to enter the room across.
Alice felt like she had waited for the man for quite a while. His eyelids began to be not strong and occasionally closed. As her consciousness grew thinner, Alice managed to hear Anson's steps closer. The man opened his room not far from Alice and closed the door slowly. Alice immediately shook her head, walking slowly away from the room.
"Huh .... " Alice smiled with relief, realizing that Anson's bedroom door was not uncovered. He opened it slowly and entered it.
The lights had been extinguished, leaving only a small lamp on the side of the bed with a dim light.
"Alice" Anson looked surprised. He sat on the side of the bed without a blindfold. Her clothes had been changed in plain silver pajamas.
"I want to explain something" he said hoarsely. Alice took a seat at Anson's side.
"Daniel was my friend, he was the one who sold the land to me at a fairly affordable price. I had dinner with him as my thanks. He also promised to find me investors and gave me examples of cluster designs to develop. Our relationship is only about business, Anson," explained Alice patiently. He held Anson's arm asking for trust.
Why are all the explanations he gave always bumped by Anson's stubbornness?
"You don't have to lick another man, Alice. You know I can help you. Just tell me how much you need and I'll cash it for you!"
For Anson, it's all about money.
"I can't Anson!" reject Alice. He had received too much of Anson's money before.
"If our relationship is really serious, try to accept my offer. Wouldn't if we married later all of mine would be yours too?" Anson's tone is getting sharp.
Alice patted her hair in despair. Men are hard creatures to deal with.
"Do you love me Alice?"
A question that could make Alice freeze. His eyes blinked a few times holding back the clumping emotion of wanting to get out. Does Anson intend to make fun of him with the emotions he has? Did he deliberately discuss love just to hurt Alice?
Men who do not know love are now provoking their feelings cruelly.
"You can't answer that? I thought our previous relationship was shallow, Alice." Anson chuckled amusedly, laughing at himself. Does she think women as perfect as Alice can love and accept her?
"Go to your room, Alice. Go back to sleep, "pinta Anson cynically.
The man stood his back to Alice, adjusting his pillow at the end of the bed, preparing to fall back asleep.
"I love you, Anson," said Alice. Her tears rolled slowly.
Alice gave up on her claimant. Emotions are a weakness of a person. Anson now knows his deepest emotions.
Maybe after this Anson will be more arbitrary to him, just to take advantage of his feelings of love. It is also possible that Anson will laugh at the vulnerability he has, having fallen into the fearsome charm of a cruel man like him. Alice no longer cared. Let it be as low as what he looked at Anson, the feeling he had was too great for him to hide alone. Say he's a terrible love slave.
Anson turned around in surprise, staring at the earnestness of Alice's words. His chest rumbled shouting victory. Celebrating the miracle that the woman was able to bring.
"Oh, Alice," said Anson, wiping away every tear drop Alice shed. Anson's kiss felt intoxicating, bringing Alice to a new beauty.
Alice happily welcomed the tenderness that Anson offered. He smiled meaningfully.
Anson's fingers untied Alice's wavy hair that was as soft as silk. He admired the beauty of the brownish-red strands curling in his fingers.
"Marry me, Alice," Anson hugged her.
Alice remained silent for a long time. Had the proposal been different, Alice would not have hesitated to accept it.
"Wait for your memory to come back, Anson. I don't want to be considered taking advantage of your condition" Alice said.
"You're a tough woman, Alice. What if my memory never comes back?" Anson repeated the question he had asked.
"I believe your memory will definitely return" Alice replied still the same.
Anson chuckled small. He hugged the woman tighter. My God, his life would have been perfect had he been able to have this woman all his life.
