Klayver made sure of everything. She was standing on the balcony, waiting for Alice to return.
Manhattan's weather is pretty hot today. Soon to enter autumn. Klayver's face looks shiny because of sweat. He stared at the sun that was starting to walk westward, his heat therapy was still strong enough to make the temperature rise.
After a long wait, Alice finally returned home in her mini-cooper car. The woman came down with a cheerful face, without noticing Klayver's increasingly dark face.
Klayver signaled Alice with a loud scream. The woman looked surprised up at the balcony and saw Klayver there. She protected her eyes with one hand and looked closely at her husband.
Next to Klayver's hand waved, gesturing for Alice to come upstairs to meet her. In an obedient gesture, Alice quickly left the courtyard of the house to the upstairs balcony where Klayver was.
Alice's face was a little uncomfortable. He began to speculate a lot. Looks like Klayver is looking serious this time. Could he have found any new clues about Anson's death? For a long time they hadn't discussed this so Alice was afraid Klayver had forgotten their initial agreement.
With a rough movement, Alice pulled her long red hair and curled it haphazardly. The temperature is too hot so this long hair makes it sultry if it is stroked.
In a short time, Alice managed to reach the balcony upstairs. She cleared her throat several times, attracting the attention of her husband.
"You don't have to do that, I can already judge your whereabouts from your footsteps." Klayver chuckles amusedly.
Alice ignored Klayver's comments and plopped onto the white-painted wooden chair at the end of the balcony.
"What's up, Klayver? You seem to be bringing some serious news." Alice began to guess. She crossed her hands and looked at her husband closely.
Klayver turned around and stood facing Alice. He stared at the ceiling for a moment to think of something.
Alice is a very vulnerable woman. He wasn't sure the woman could accept this fact well.
"By the way, where have you been?" klayver asked trying to melt the atmosphere first.
"Susan didn't tell you? I've been visiting Rachel all day. I haven't seen her in a long time." Alice smiled slightly. Her mind was re-remembered in Rachel's happy pregnancy.
"Oh yeah, how's your friend doing?" klayver asked, taking a box of cigarettes out of his shirt pocket. He took one stick, put it back in the box and took the lighter out of his pants pocket. Expertly, Klayver turned on the lighter and made the cigarette he held between his fingers produce white smoke. The smell of nicotine starts to waft in the air.
"good. Know it? She's pregnant now." Alice smiled widely, emitting happiness from her two golden eyes.
Klayver stiffened a little at the words of his wife. He looked at Alice in disbelief and confirmed the news.
"Pregnant? With Harry? Or Maxen?" tanyanya lightly. Although this fact can make Klayver shaken, but he was used to facing more severe critical situations so that his emotions can still be controlled.
"You'd be surprised if I told you. Rachel's relationship with Maxen goes so well that they .. say, love each other. There's no Harry in Rachel's life anymore. The child belonged to Rachel and Maxen. Life is sometimes a joke. We can dock with someone we never thought we'd see." Alice began to philosophize. He leaned his tired body on the back of a tall wooden chair. Alice's eyes were slightly closed, enjoying the afternoon wind in between the hot air.
Klayver pulled her lips into a small grin. Things are getting more complicated now. He took out a few pieces of files from his pants pocket and gestured for Alice to approach.
"What's that?" alice asked not to understand.
"Proof the transcation you're looking for."
In the sheet, there is a copy of the bank book that shows many cash flow transactions. Alice still did not understand Klayver's intentions.
She looked at her husband in wonder with questionable eyes.
"Look, this is Maxen Millian's bank transaction book." Klayver turned the sheets on the main page. There imprinted the name Maxen Millian with bold letters.
Alice still doesn't understand. For what Klayver showed the bank book belonging to her friend's husband. After all, all of that is a prifation that should not be spread.
"Alice, the people connected with Anson's death are Souvery Kinston, Adam Hug, and Andre Brown. I'm researching a Novihock poison order that was placed by Souvery Kinston two days before the party. And guess what I found. One of Souvery's loyal servants said he was told to put the poison in the wine Anson drank."
Alice looked at Klayver in shock. It's starting to show a bright spot. These people are the ones responsible for the death of her late husband.
But Alice still did not understand what this all had to do with the bank cash book Klayver had shown her. He looked confused and shook his head slowly.
"What does everything have to do with this?" Alice pointed to the book not understanding.
Klayver looked at Alice closely. Alice's sensitivity to things was indeed very low. His instincts were not as strong as Klayver's. The man should lead his wife slowly.
"Look, Alice." Klayver pointed to several interrelated transactions. The names are Souvery, Adam, and Andre.
"Here there is a payment transaction from Maxen for the three people on the day that Anson was declared dead. The nominal amount sent by him to the three people was the same. Looky!" Klayver pointed to the transaction he was referring to.
Alice caught what Klayver meant. There is a transaction with a very large nominal amount. Alice looked at Klayver in disbelief and began to draw conclusions.
"You mean, Maxen is ...."
"The words of these three men. The brain alias of Anson's murder."
Klayver picked up another piece of paper that he kept in his pocket behind a shirt and showed it to Alice.
"Look, I have proof of a poison order made by Souvery. He ordered on his behalf, but the billing of the money he charged on behalf of Maxen Millian. Think of all that relationship." Klayver has a new proof with an order paper that has been lucek. There were written some codes that Alice did not understand. It looks like this order is an order in the black market, aka illegal.
"Maxen was a mover in Anson's murder. Today I also stole information from all of their email activities. Guess what I found. On the day Anson died, they all reported the matter to Maxen's email with a secret code. I was able to break through it because my expertise in technology was quite decent. Normally, that email would be automatically deleted once it was sent and read by Maxen."
They act quite deftly. Their steps are organized and hidden. If Klayver is not intelligent in finding information and is not equipped with the ability in technology, he will not be able to get all the evidence.
"Do I need to show you that email? I'll put it on my laptop if you need to see it!" tawar Klayver pointed inward.
Klayver laptops are equipped with advanced facilities. He maintains high confidentiality and security so that every time he breaks into someone else's security system, his IP address will not be detected.
Alice nodded weakly. He believed in the explanation of the clayver and did not need to check it directly. Clayver couldn't possibly lie to her. The explanation is based on accurate facts.
"Where did you get Maxen's bankbook and proof of Novihock's poison order transaction? And where can you confirm it to Souvery's servant directly?" Alice could not help the curiosity she had.
"Maxen's bankbook I got from Harry. Proof of the order of poison and the maid's caption, I got it after I managed to bribe a few people." Clayman said relax.
"Harry? Is Harry Maxen's brother?" Alice asked in disbelief.
Handing over the evidence to Klayver is tantamount to pushing Maxen into ruin. What kind of relationship they have so that his own brother can betray Maxen behind his back.
Klayver felt the confusion Alice was experiencing. He just gently rubbed his wife's back and explained briefly.
"Blood blood does not always bring loyalty. Many siblings are capable of killing each other."
Alice remained silent for a long time. He propped up his temple with one hand and sighed softly.
The fact that Maxen was Anson's killer was something that kicked Alice's consciousness so hard. How does he have to deal with all that? Rachel is now pregnant with the boy.
Alice covered her face with her palm. Anson is something very important to him. The man was once everything and gave perfect happiness. Whoever hurt him deserves to pay with his life.
Alice has long since ceased to trust the legal establishment. Handing over to the police will only make the case worse. Rich people like Maxen must be easy to find loopholes to spill evidence and eliminate witnesses. The law for him was just an easy game to conquer. Free to take him to the green table. After all, the man will be easily separated from the snare of sanctions and can actually hunt Alice and target her life.
The only option left if it still wants justice is to make its own move to finish off Maxen and his minions. That's Alice's only way to get peace.
Although she had to face Rachel's grief and dirty her own hands for this, as long as Maxen died, Alice was satisfied. Let him think of a way to comfort his friend. What he wanted was impossible to pull back.
"How did you decide?" klayver asked, giving his wife the freedom to change her mind.
"Kill Maxen and the three people you mentioned earlier. You reckon? Who better to kill?" ask Alice full of hate.
"Maxen is a person who is quite difficult to pursue. Better kill him first then only three of his men. The head should be paralyzed at the first step" Klayver said seriously.
Alice nodded in understanding. Klayver's right. If they kill three of Maxen's men first, it would mean warning Maxen to go and hide. It will be difficult for them to find Maxen's presence later. But if they cripple Maxen first, his three men will not bring too much trouble because basically their ability is not as good as Maxen in terms of hiding himself.
"What method do you want when I take out Maxen?" klayver asked lightly. He gave Alice many options for the woman to be satisfied.
"I want him to drink the same poison that he gave my husband. Eyes must be returned with eyes. Life must be avenged. The pain should also be relieved with the same pain. Explain it to me, Klayver. How does the poison work?"
Klayver looked at his wife full of understanding. Suffering will make a person turn cruel and vengeful. It's not really a foreign thing. Most of the dark side of man will appear after he is suppressed and hurt so he loses something very valuable to him.
"Novihock's venom triggers a protein chain reaction that causes body tissues, organs and muscles to go out of control because they are inundated by various signals. The signal comes on continuously and overloads the body tissues, muscles and organs. This then triggers excess saliva production and respiratory problems because the muscles can no longer be controlled. This toxin can cause paralysis, convulsions and death if the dose is high enough or the load is long enough."
Klayver explains back to Novihock's poison. Since this poison was stronger than any other poison, he could cripple the target in just a small dose and a short time. Not surprisingly, Anson could crash in a very short time after consuming this poison. When the poison worked, Anson must have been on his way home so his focus on driving the car was lost and caused a fatal accident.
Anson's accident was just an alibi. Without an accident, the man would still die as well after taking Novihock.
The police and doctors who handled it would easily blame the accident as a major factor for Anson's death.
"Klayver, do you think the doctors at the hospital were also involved in covering up Anson's death?" alice asked, beginning to remember about this. There was a nurse who died immediately after she told him some suspicions about the deaths of her two children. Could it be that her other two children were also killed?
All these questions made Alice feel dizzy. He blinked his eyes a few times and stared at the kalyver with a dim eye.
"Although this poison is hard to detect, but I suspect the doctors have been bribed to such an extent that they are silent."
It was completely in line with what Alice had feared all along.
"Klayver, do you think my two children were killed?" alice asked with her heart beating hard. He had been holding this question for quite a while. Every time he thought of this, his heart was filled with a lot of fear. Honestly, he wasn't ready to hear a bad answer to his own question.
"Are you sure you want to hear the answer to this question, Alice?" Klayver has refrained from revealing this. But it seems that Alice is quite stubborn in digging through every piece of information.
"Say!" pinta Alice with teary eyes. My God, he's already getting a bad feeling about the answer he's about to hear.
"Yes. Both of your sons were killed in the same way. Actually, Maxen is targeting the entire Anson family. Including you and your three children. Unfortunately at that time, you did not eat a single mouthful of food from the hospital so you survived Novihock's poison. As for Axel, he's at home so he's pretty safe from the cunning actions of the doctors Anson hired to kill you."
Klayver's been investigating all this to the root. All the evidence he had left him amazed. Maxen is really not half in trying to eliminate the Anson family.
"Lantas, why is he letting me and Axel live now?" alice asked not to understand.
Kalyver looked at the afternoon sky that was starting to turn orange. He took a heavy breath and his eyes narrowed meaningfully.
"Because he thinks that you're safe enough to be left alive. Besides, there's someone who's been protecting you after the deaths of your two children. That person is Anson's trusted confidant that he's been keeping by your side all this time."
Alice looked not understanding. His lips formed a soundless O-hurup.
"Suhan. He's Maxen's informant, too. The woman is in charge of watching your actions and she thinks your whereabouts don't endanger Maxen so she asks Maxen for leniency to keep you alive. In other words, a week ago he gave assurances with his own life to keep you alive."
