Today is Alice's last day in New York. He and Klayver will return to Manhattan later in the day. Their relationship with Liecester's family was good enough. All of Klayver's business was going on normally.
In the morning at breakfast together, they discussed Klayver's return.
Wilsen, the eldest son, is actually still hard to release his sister. But things were better so they agreed to visit each other later. After Klayver's return, all of Klayver's brothers and sisters will also return to their apartments. They live in New York, but live separately from each other. A few days together at the Violin residence was a very special exception.
"Let me drive you later in the day." John offered himself by throwing a sincere smile.
Klayver smiled in response to her sister and gave a small nod. "Can."
In my heart, Alice was happy for the whole family back. Klayver was a person who had too many flaws in his soul. Finding a family was one form of perfecting the huge hole he had in the corner of the soul.
"When I have business in Manhattan, I'll stop by your place, too." Violin said as she sipped the drink in the crystal glass.
Alice who heard it froze a little. Imagining Violin one house with her made Alice shudder in horror. He still creeps whenever he remembers Violin's act of suppressing him. Especially if you think further, in Manhattan there is Axel who is still a child. What will be the attitude of Violin towards her son?
Violin felt a soft touch on her bare arm. He turned to the left side and found Klayver smiling soothingly. The man always knew his emotions. Does Klayver have talent as a psychic? Why is it so hard to hide something from her.
"Mom, at least if you want to stop by our place, you have to convince Alice not to be rude anymore. He has a five-year-old son. Which mother don't worry about getting a rough in-law visit like you?" Klayver.
Violin has a strong enough character and can be impulsive at any time. Klayver is also not sure his mother can maintain the attitude in front of five-year-olds. Sometimes she wondered for herself how her mother could raise her four children and accompany their growth. Klayver became increasingly convinced that her dark personality must have been the influence of her mother.
"Obviously, I would never hurt Alice's son." Violin smiled slightly. Neither Klayver nor Alice believed Violin's promise.
"Mom, promise!" Klayver asked seriously.
Violin looked at Kalyver for a moment and put down the crystal glass she had just sipped. He looked at his son and daughter-in-law in turn. Others simply become observers and refuse to interfere.
"alright. I seriously. I promise I won't hurt or do things that could harm a Violin child. What's-her-name? Axel?" Violin looked at Alice closely.
"Yes. Axels." Alice confirmed.
Klayver was quite satisfied with Violin's promise and patted Alice on the shoulder to reassure. If Violin had promised seriously, the woman would have surely kept it. The Liecester family is usually quite reliable throughout regarding appointment issues.
"Alice, we need to talk." Violin stared at her daughter-in-law quite intensely. Alice shriveled in the high-backed chair and could only grimace a little. My God, Violin is strong enough to suppress his mentality.
Alice turned to Klayver and asked for help without a sound. The man only smiled small and calmed down. "It's okay. Talk to Mom. He won't hurt you."
Alice melengos's. Pupus had hoped to rely on Klayver as a shield. He weakly nodded and walked outside the room following Violin.
"Your wife is a unique blend, Klayver," Wilsen commented on Alice after the woman was out of hearing from them.
Klayver raised one eyebrow, asking silently.
"She is fragile and yes .. has a timid side. But he can be very stubborn and defy anyone. Very contradictory." Wilsen. His laughter sounded crisp.
"Don't forget she's beautiful, charismatic, and an expensive porcelain tub. In other words, he was too perfect. You're a very lucky demon who could have it" John chimed in.
Wilsen chuckled slightly, agreeing with his sister's words. Having a sister-in-law like Alice is a fortune. Alice's persona complements Klayver on all sides. Graceful, weak, but also strong.
"If I'm to be honest, he's ten times better than Holy. He was weak, but definitely not a coward. He won't leave you for little things like she did before. Alice is also a very sincere woman" Angelica spoke as she was. All of his brothers looked over with doubtful gazes.
Talking about Holy directly in front of Klayver was still taboo. All this time they tried not to bring up this topic. Unexpectedly Angelica actually revealed it frankly.
Wilsen and John turned to look at Klayver, trying to guess the man's reaction. Will he upset the woman in his past in a bad commentary? Or is he realistic enough to see this from another point of view? After all, what Angelica said was the truth. Holy woman is very cowardly.
"Yes. He is better than Holy" Klayver agreed. His eyes revealed the truth. There is no heartache at all when acknowledging this reality.
Everyone was quite surprised to hear Klayver's reply. James was also confused.
"You're not angry I said such things?" Angelica asked in wonder. In the past, Klayver had always protected the Holy Name more than anything else. He didn't let anyone say anything bad about him. To him, Holy was a very holy angel. The form of belief that Klayver adored desperately.
"The situation is quite different, Angel. I'm starting to understand a lot of things lately. Holy is not as good as I thought. If he truly loves me, he should have defended me. That's what I'm gonna do for him. He didn't do that and chose to stay away. Everything just felt wrong after I got to know Alice. Their differences are significant." Klayver was honest.
Knowing Alice had made her heart re-assess things in a different way. Alice is an oasis in the desert that she desperately longs for her presence. With him, Klayver discovers many things he has never touched before. Such a possessive feeling that lately dominates him and wants more. He wanted to taste all the beautiful saris of his woman, just like a bee that yearns for flowers.
"I'm glad you finally realized this reality." James commented.
Holy is the woman who destroyed Klayver inside out. He's like the darkest and weathered scourge of Klayver. Seeing that the Holy no longer had such a huge influence, they were quite grateful with this development.
"Thank you, Dad." Klayver responded briefly. He took the water on the table and finished it in one gulp.
Clayver is a pretty hard guy. His character was the most dominant and most difficult character among them all. Angelica is afraid that this situation will make Alice choose to retreat leaving her in the future. It's hard for a woman strong enough to keep up. It takes a huge amount of mental strength to be able to match her brother.
"We will never know what life will be like. The departure of someone is not something we can control. I can't guarantee that, Angel. Alice is a self-sufficient person. It is impossible that one day he will choose to leave me."
Klayver said what it was. He wanted to open the family's eyes wide so they wouldn't be surprised if anything happened to Klayver's marriage to Alice.
However, Klayver's marriage remains a question mark. The deal is still there and it continues. Everything could have happened. He didn't want his family to put a lot of hope on his shoulders.
"Didn't you love her? People who love each other deserve to keep each other, right?" Angelica still threw a pretty probing question. Actually, is Klayver and Alice's marriage okay? Why Klayver's response seemed to imply something was hidden.
It's not just Angelica who suspects the truth of Klayver's marriage. James, Wilsen, and John felt the same way. They were unable to detect Klayver's actions, but Alice's attitude was quite speaking. It was as if their marriage held a secret.
"Love alone is not enough to make people survive. We're all grown up, Angel. We have to think realistically. In this life, meeting and parting are nature's most eternal laws. So no matter what happens, we have to be able to accept reality as bitter as anything."
Klayver revealed her heart. Although he was strong, there were many things in this world that could run out of control. Especially things related to emotions. Who can guarantee that someone will love and live forever? Aren't there a lot of people who take marriage vows and end up getting divorced? It all shows that promise alone is not enough to bind love.
"Is your marriage to Alice actually okay?" james asked suspiciously. He observed his son, judging if there were any moves from Klayver that could answer his son's true condition.
But Klayver is a very difficult person to touch. His emotions he hid deep at the bottom of the soul. There was no one he allowed to see. Even his father. Only with Alice did a Klayver begin to lower his vigilance.
"Our wedding is fine." Clayman said relax. He leaned more comfortably and crossed both legs.
"Marriage is forever. When we take an oath, it is witnessed by God and all nature. Breaking up a marriage is the same as breaking the strongest bond. Don't talk about goodbye anymore." James commented. He tapped on the tip of the spoon, making a loud clanking sound.
"Don't start lecturing me, Dad." Klayver propped both hands behind his nape and closed his eyes. Alice's shadow began to dance. God fucking. That woman is too beautiful to think about.
…
Alice followed Violin to the fourth floor. There is a place to relax with a transparent roof. Many pots of rare flowers and plants are beautifully arranged. All in all, it's like a private plant on the roof of a house. There is one side whose windows are designed so that they can open completely and receive direct sun.
Far back there, Alice saw a land like a helipad or runway located quite far away, but still within the Liecester family land area. There is a small building as a garage. There was one helicopter and a private jet parked.
Because the position of the place is quite remote, making its existence can only be seen from above the fourth floor.
"So, you guys have a helipad?" ask Alice to Violin. Her in-laws nodded, confirming.
"If this family has a helipad, it should be me and Klayver who can come here on a private plane without having to use a commercial plane, right?" ask Alice frankly. Imagining being on a plane for hours makes Alice nauseous.
Violin pointed to a pair of wooden chairs with whitewashed backrests.
"Klayver is a person who is always on the lookout. Flying here using a heli or a private jet can raise the suspicion of many parties. It'd be better if you put on a commercial plane." Violin dropped down on the chair with a slow sigh.
"Oh, so yeah." Alice followed Violin and sat in a chair not far from her.
Both the Liecester and Klayver families, they were all a very vigilant group of people. Perhaps, Klayver's enemies were numerous enough that they needed to hide the fact that he was a member of the Liecester family.
The summer breeze swept their faces with a gentle caress. Alice leaned a little awkwardly on the side of Violin, still wondering what purpose the woman had brought her here. Could it be that there was something important that her in-laws wanted? If it was, it seemed like something was sensitive enough that Violin carried it on the top floor.
"What's up, Violin?" ask Alice wants the truth. He looked at the woman by his side, expecting Violin to no longer mince words.
"Alice, do you know? I started to like and admire you when you were strong under my pressure. It's very hard to find a fragile woman, but also as brave as you." Violin said sincerely. His eyes were straight ahead, thinking of something.
"Thank you." Alice said lightly, feeling confused about how to respond.
"Tell me, I'm proud you're my son-in-law."
Alice wanted to laugh in her heart. If only Violin knew, Alice would not feel proud to have in-laws like Violin. If he could exchange, he wanted to replace Klayver's mother with any gentler woman.
"But Alice, you have a weakness. Your character is very different from Klayver. Your face water says everything. Your attitude unravels everything. So, no matter how clever you keep it a secret, you'll never be able to lie to me. Maybe James, Wilsen, John and Angel can you lie. But I have very sharp eyes. There's no way you can keep it hidden from me."
Alice was confused by these words. He turned his innocent head towards Violin, staring cluelessly at the direction of her in-laws' conversation.
"What do you mean, Violin?"
Violin stared at the sharp Alice netra. He seemed to pierce through Alice's deepest soul and reveal all the honesty that exists.
"Tell me, Alice. Is your marriage and my son just a charade? I can see the irregularities in your trinkets. Honest me. Did you really marry Klayver in the real sense?"
