The Rhyme of the Depositary

The Rhyme of the Depositary
032 - SEASON 2

Alice stupefied. This shift in conversation made his understanding slow down a bit. He stared at Xander for a long time while gathering his consciousness.

"I don't see the connection of that question to this case right now. Whoever he is, he is the one who has been by my side for a long time and cares for me. I can't just let him get slaughtered by you. Please, understand this reality, Klayver."

One trait that Alice is hard to lose is being stubborn. He can be really firm if he wants something. Sometimes because of this nature Alice often hit the conditions in the surrounding environment.

"It doesn't matter how much he means to you or not. In the world, there are formulas where right and wrong. Strong and weak. Killed and killed. Everything has a connection. Since he has done the wrong thing to me, then I will seek him with all my strength to hunt him down and silence him.

"There is no dictionary as to who that person is or how close that person is. Even if you do something similar, no matter you occupy the position of wife, I will still help you. Trust me, I can kill you easily. So from now on, understand your position and take the limits to be with me."

This time, there was anger in Klayver's eyes. After a long time Alice saw the man was always cold and unreadable, now all her body was giving off an aura of anger.

Alice could not estimate how much of an anger she was. But looking at the air that was getting depressed with Klayver aura, surely the man's emotions were quite great.

Alice's nape is goosebumps. His hands automatically drooped stiffly on the sides of the body. Unknowingly, he took a step back looking at the dangerous aura that Klayver had.

Very scary. Alice wanted to turn around and hide. His child soul was completely mastering it at this moment.

But there was a force holding Alice back. Daniel's Life. If he retreats and turns away, Daniel's life will be threatened. Lost was taken by Klayver's cold hand. He is a cruel executor.

"Klayver," Alice's voice squeaked. Drowning in Klayver's very strong dominance.

God fucking. Where is the bravery that Alice has been great all this time if Klayver just bullied his whole body turned like jelly?

"What can I do to stop hunting Daniel?" The two Alice netra blinked slowly. His eye bead held a thin hope that he was still trying to hold onto.

Klayver looked at Alice and realized something. Besides being reckless and unable to hide emotions, the woman was also very stubborn. When he wants something, his eyes have a strong determination that pushes him forward, despite the conditions and situations against him.

A stubborn fragile woman. Doesn't he realize that his life can be ruined at any time? Klayver did not know whether to feel pity or admiration. Alice, like a butterfly fighting the wind. It will be easy to hit and have no wings.

Anson should marry her. Klayver heard the man used to adore Alice so much. Who wouldn't be tempted by a beautiful and unique woman like Alice? Everything in Alice is like two contradictions mingling together. Fragile, but strong. Powerless, but stubborn. Nasty, but rash. How could such a person face the world? The character he carries makes a man's soul approach and protect him. Saving the beauty that it offers.

"You sure you want to offer something to a demon like me?" klayver asked provoked a new fear in his tone.

Alice swallowed. He grumbled in his heart. Why is it so hard to deal with Klayver? The man was too arrogant and there was no inferiority at all. True egomania.

"Didn't you like to trade? You're not a sincere person who easily approves people's requests without rewards." Alice's courage re-emerged, leaving her fear for a moment.

"I might be interested in exchanging it for something, but it will definitely be hard for you." Klayver weighed in on an existing choice. He thought of something seriously. His eyes were empty again, no longer readable.

"No problem. As long as you guarantee Daniel's life. Don't hunt him anymore." Alice said convincingly.

If this were a way to make Daniel's life whole again, he would. His relationship with Daniel is a little complicated. But clearly they are bound together in solidarity with each other.

"I'll talk about this after our visit to Mom's house in the coming week." Kalyver decided firmly. He had thought about this for quite a while so delaying it for a while would be fine.

"So we're really going to visit him?" Avery looks shocked. Visiting a person who once poked his head with a gun is not something fun.

"Yes. We're going to visit my extended family." Clayman said relax. He seemed to be indifferent to the objections emanating from Alice's eyes.

"Large family? You still have a big family?" Alice's eyes were getting perfectly rounded. His face looks a little pale. Lips vibrate.

"Yes. Mom, Dad, and my brothers and sisters. Do you think I was born of stone and have no family tree?" Kalyver said lightly.

Klayver's two arms he crossed in front of his chest. The man enjoyed the terrified reaction that emanated clearly from the look in Alice's eyes. This woman is like a book that is wide open. Every emotion and feeling he had was clearly visible.

Klayver has said to start hiding emotions. Apparently the woman still did not do her advice.

"Oh, really a big family." Alice stammered.

Large family. Oh God. The large family of a high-level assassin. Her mother was that hard. How could he face his father and all his brothers? Alice felt bad. He wants to disappear from the face of the earth right now.

Being stuck with Klayver alone has become a big hassle. Especially if you are stuck in a group of families that have the same genes as Klayver? Is Alice mentally able to accept all this?

"I thought, Axel would be better off not coming with us."

The first thought Alice could remember was to save her son as far away from a terrifying group of families as possible. The boy's future is still bright. He does not deserve to be treated badly by others. Alice must be on her guard from now on, lest the boy meet the Kalyver family.

Apparently, she would trouble Rachel again to look after her son. Alice feels uncomfortable leaving Axel at home with Helena alone. He still remembers Klayver and Anson having a hidden enemy.

No one knew when they would target this house and slaughter the people inside. Alice must be careful not to leave Axel unattended.

"It's up to you to take him or not. It's okay if you take him. My brother might be able to help take care of her."

"No. No. gabe. Not necessary. I'm not used to taking Axel far away."

Alice inflamed. If Klayver's brother is guarding Axel, it means the world is truly doomsday for Alice. No one knew what kind of madness they would pass on to their son.

"All right." Klayver's corner trembled slightly, holding back a smile. This woman is really innocent. Fear and worry were clearly visible on his face. It was not difficult to guess what Alice was thinking at the moment.

"My mom can take care of the kids, too, if you don't mind-"

"No! No, Klayver! I'm not taking Axel away! It never will!" Alice walked away with a deathly pale face.

Maddened. Totally bonkers. Klayver had Axel guarded by Violin. Cold-blooded women seem to be very unlikely to blend in with children. Handing Axel over to him is the same as handing Axel over to the devil to play with.

After Alice's departure, a small laugh came out of Klayver's lips. The man watched Alice leave with warm eyes.

For a moment, Klayver was silent for a long time and regained consciousness. When was the last time he had a laugh this warm for someone? When was the last time his heart felt cold to see someone?

Eight years he lived in darkness. Untouched by anything. Now, that unfamiliar face appeared, bursting out deeply, and made him have a smile back.

Honestly, this reaction is a little scary.

Mr. Souvery Kinston sat in one of the high chairs on the side of the round table. He looked at the two people by his side. Andre, an old man in his sixties and Adam, a man in his early forties.

Adam is a successful wine and coffee business man. He owns acres of fields in the Sao Paulo area of Brazil. His stocky body with curly hair, made him look friendly. Plus his eyes always show antics. People will always smile nearby, feeling easily entertained.

Souvery, was indirectly the boss of the three of them. He is a real estate businessman, banker, and also active behind the scenes in politics. Most of his words were listened to by senators. He supported many senatorial candidates and gave way through the campaign. That's why he has the power to infiltrate and organize them clandestinely.

"I heard that the widow of the late Anson married someone named Klayver Vaquez." Souveri opened the conversation.

Not far from his side, Andre nodded confirming. He himself has offered a special hotel room for their bridal night.

"Is there a problem with this?" Andre asked back.

"I'm just wondering who Klayver really is. Is he the one who's gonna fight us?" Souvery clucked unhappily. He was never comfortable thinking that someone else was hunting them down.

"Eitherway. It's hard to find out. But from my sources, they don't provide enough sensitive information. Looks like the guy's clean. Maybe Alice had forgotten Anson's death and decided to have a new day. He rises and closes the old story" Adam chimed in.

Two days ago he told his subordinates to find out who Klayver really is. So far, nothing is suspicious enough.

"Even so, we need to keep an eye on them. If these few months Alice and her new husband do not make a tantrum, it's good we let them to move on. It seems that woman is quite realistic. She's no longer scraping information about her late husband's death." Souveri. Alice no longer threatened them as strongly as before.

"We have a lot of urgent business. Let's keep an eye on them for a month or two. If they don't do something that harms us, it's good that we pull our resources back. It is better to use the organization to do other things." Andre agrees. He looked at Adam, asking for a voice.

"I agree." Adam smiled a little. His friendly face looked even more nauseating.

The three of them had no idea that behind all this, Klayver was the one they should have been wary of from the start.

Rachel sat in the middle room chair. He had spent over an hour staring at the giant-sized LED TV screen. His eyes were pushy, away from the events he witnessed.

Time had already entered midnight when a very familiar step was heading towards him.

Maxen stared in surprise at the figure of Rachel who was still sitting in the room with TY lit up. The woman stared at him and looked back at the flat screen. His view is a little empty. Looks like the show program is just a distraction.

"You're coming home the other night" said Rachel lightly.

Maxen walked over, sat down by Rachel's side and looked at his wife with a questionable look.

He often comes home late. But only this time Rachel had quite serious attention on him. Could there be a ripple of change happening?

"Yes. You mind?" ask Maxen gently. His eyes always warmed whenever he looked at his wife's shady face.

"No. You have the right to do whatever you want." Rachel answered flatly.

There's a foreign scent emanating from Maxen's shirt. Fragrance of women. Rachel's sensitive nose could sniff it from this close. Rachel's forehead frowned, forming a new conclusion.

It doesn't take a smart person to guess what Maxen just did. He just got back from another woman. The woman he must have touched.

Thinking of all this elicits an unexpected angry reaction from Rachel.

"You watch TV from earlier?" Maxen tried to open the conversation.

"Yes. My activities are not as interesting as your activities. You're lucky enough to be playing with another woman out there." Rachel's tone began to rise. His eyes are judgmental.

Maxen who heard his wife's cynical response deepened his frown. He caught a new angry reaction.

"What do you mean?" Maxen tries to expose Rachel's reaction even further.

"You just visited your lady, didn't you?" Rachel couldn't help herself.

Every night Maxen would come home late. Sometimes, even going home in the morning. Rachel always smelled a woman's perfume on the shirt Maxen wore. It is not always the same perfume. But it is definitely a type of female perfume. Rachel estimates Maxen visits a different woman every night.

"Yes. I visited jal*ng woman. Call it *******'." Maxen shrugged both of his shoulders, saying what it was.

The loneliness Maxen went through made him run away. Only the kind of woman they are can slightly reduce her cravings, although lately Maxen feels all women are starting to lose their attractiveness.

"No wonder. You do have enough money to squander in such a way," Rachel responded to Maxen with a cynical glance. His attitude clearly demeaned Maxen all-out.

"of course. Why would I hold back if I could afford worldly pleasures?" Maxen's tone was cynical, reflecting Rachel's anger that began to be clearly read.

"The rich are always free to do whatever they want. For a long time I feel bored if trapped inside the house every night. Looks like I'll start using the money you gave me for pleasure as well starting tomorrow night.

"Maxen, you've had experience in the night world. Can you recommend where an entertainment venue that provides handsome men and is ready to serve women like me? Get me one!"

Rachel looked at Maxen seriously. His gaze was full of determination. The curvature of his lips he pulled formed a small smile. There's a little sweet hollow in the corner of her lips, her beautiful dimples.

"What do you mean, Rachel?" Maxen's eyes narrowed to form a straight line. His jaw looks stiff. There was a strong anger that burst out from being lured by Rachel's words.

"I just wanted to hire a guy for one night. All this time I was too monotonous to live my days. I need another impingement. I'm willing to pay for it, of course. Find one that you think is an expert at satisfying women. Let me-" Rachel's words are interrupted by a rude answer from Maxen. The man's eyes glittered creepily.

"What if I offered to accompany you for the night? I'm smart to use the skills I have. Believe, Rachel. You won't regret it!"

"You-" Racel moved away as fast as lightning, his two eyeballs revealing a new fear.

"Why did you buy another man if I was willing to complete your night? Isn't this a mutually beneficial transaction. I don't have to go out anymore and you don't have to waste a lot of your money."

"Maxen,"

"You've really provoked my anger."

Without a word, Maxen grabbed Rachel and held her forcibly down the stairs. The woman tried to rebel and screamed in surprise

Maxen who was already angry did not press his wife's protest. She turns Rachel's sling into a sling over her shoulder, leaving Rachel's head in the bottom position while her legs hold her full force. Rachel's like a sack of rice brought by Maxen.

"Bad' you're Maxen, what are you gonna do to me?" the screams don't take.

"Love you my way!"

Man friend, take care of your health. May this plague soon be lifted by the Lord YME. My prayers are always for you.
