026 - SEASON 2

Daniel looked at Alice long ago. He blinked his eyes in surprise, trying to understand Alice's words.

Slowly but surely, Daniel grabbed Alice's hand and rubbed it gently. She saw the worry in Alice's eyes and felt guilty for having made this woman burdened because of her.

"Don't worry, Alice. I'm male. I'm man enough to bear all the consequences of my actions." Daniel tried to calm down. She smiles. Very mellow.

Alice closed her eyes, not expecting what she said to be this complicated Daniel did not want to back down from his actions. He's too stubborn. How Alice conveys that Daniel's actions are capable of killing himself. Alice is just trying to make Daniel avoid a ridiculous death.

"Daniel, the action you're doing isn't that simple. It's about your safety." Alice finally said the truth. If what he said was still denied by the man, Alice really found a deadlock.

"Don't worry, Alice. Don't think too much" said Daniel lightly. He let go of Alice's hand and turned to pick up the coffee he made.

Daniel's smile still looked bright. Her eyes are warm. But Alice saw gloom in her future.

"I beg you, Daniel. Please stop it."

This was the only thing Alice could do begging and pleading. Alice refused to give up. Because if we lose, Daniel's life will be lost. Lost taken by Klayver.

Daniel still did not respond to Alice's request. He raised another topic as if he wanted to calm Alice down slowly.

Finally, because Daniel did not do what Alice wanted, the woman began to shed tears. She cried silently by propping up both hands covering her face.

Daniel who saw Alice's reaction became confused. He's not used to seeing women cry. Especially Alice. Being in this position really made him upset.

"Alice, what's wrong with you?" his confused tanyanya patted his friend's shoulder. I wish Alice could be calmed down like this.

Alice was still crying. His mind's getting fucked up. Imagining Daniel being slaughtered by Klayver leaves him increasingly trapped in endless grief.

"Alice, please, stop crying, okay?" Daniel confusion. He walked back and forth around Alice aimlessly. Periodically he patted Alice gently on the shoulder, but without success. Alice's is becoming more and more.

"Shhhhtt, Alice. Don't be like this. I really don't understand how to."

Daniel always saw Alice being strong and resilient. He had never seen Alice disintegrate like this. Of course Daniel's distraught overcame this situation. He had no experience at all overcoming the sedu sedan of women.

"I just want to ask you to stop the search for Eyes Evil. But you refused. Please do this for me, Dan. I beg you," he asked in a bitter cry. Alice's voice trembled violently. Both of his eyes looked at Daniel with the most dazzling eyes.

Daniel was wrong. He looked at Alice weakly and grabbed Alice's body in a warm embrace. A hug that he meant to calm.

"Alice, things aren't that easy, you know! I had already formed an agreement with someone to conduct the search. And I've informed the other party of this information development." Daniel breathed heavily. He actually wanted to hide this fact, but circumstances forced Daniel to be honest and reveal this to Alice.

Alice widened her eyes in disbelief. He broke Daniel's embrace and looked at the man. His eyes were full of questions.

"What do you mean?" alice asked for an explanation. His sobs are beginning to subside. But the fear in his eyes still looked strong.

Daniel closed his eyes for a moment and prepared himself to say everything. What he was about to say must have hurt Alice a little. He, directly put his friend in a difficult situation.

"I've actually been suspicious for a long time about Klayver. Yesterday I went to your house just to confirm my suspicions. I deliberately lured you to discuss my search for Eyes Evil. I can't believe you're being defensive about protecting this information. From the reaction I drew the conclusion that Klayver was Eyes Evil. You have eyes that can't lie. You're easy to read, Alice."

Finally, Daniel revealed this as well.

He's been holding this back for a long time. Now Alice forced him to discuss a very sensitive topic. It would be better for him to open up some honesty between them. Lying to Alice is a burden that eats away at her conscience.

Hearing Daniel's confession, Alice was suddenly paralyzed. He felt that his entire body had no power at all.

"What are you talking about Daniel? You came to the conclusion that eyes evil is Klayver?" Alice was in disbelief. If Daniel had come to this conclusion, Alice would have been too late to save the situation. Especially if Daniel has forwarded this information to other parties.

This problem is too complicated. Alice clutched the end of the shirt she was wearing very firmly. The feeling is already chaotic. All the ropes he held were ready to collapse at any moment.

"You don't have to pretend with me anymore, Alice. Two days before your wedding, the lead I had was on Klayver. When your marriage took place, my intuition told me Klayver wasn't a simple man.

"I was actually present at your wedding, but I took the most distant place to watch over you. I'm sorry, Alice. I've been acting like this. But I really have to get this information if I still want my life not to be pressured by the other party."

Daniel explained everything. He, in other words, had been suppressed in such a way if he could not provide information regarding Evil Eyes. But seeking this information also put his life at risk. Daniel is like eating simalakama fruit. Whatever he decides, puts him in danger.

Daniel thought Alice didn't know Klayver's identity. But when yesterday he saw Alice's response was very shaken, he was sure Alice already knew this reality.

Daniel thought. Is Rachel's guess about Alice's sudden marriage a truth?

Maybe Rachel was right. There is a veiled intention in Alice's marriage. He married Klayver as a business transaction so that he could use his services to quell Anson's death.

Although Daniel still does not know what payment Klayver asked of Alice, but Daniel suspects there must be a separate agreement in their marriage.

"How can you conclude that Klayver is Eyes Evil, Daniel?" Alice still railed against Daniel with this question.

He knows Klayver's abilities. Many people who have been hunting for therapy no one has managed to get certainty of Klyaver's identity. So what has Daniel done so that he can come to this conclusion?

"After so many mistakes, all the evidence finally led to Klayver. Kamarin as my suspicions grew stronger, I recorded Klayver's face with a small camera on my shirt when I visited you. I've sent Klayver's visuals to the other party who hired me."

Daniel took a slow sip of coffee, and resumed his explanation.

"The one who hired me was very unique. He could detect whether the result was correct or not when I sent Klayver a photo directly. And, this morning they confirmed that Klayver really is Eyes Evil."

Alice was wide. He gawked in disbelief. If indeed the other party could confirm eyes evil only from a visual image, why would they bother sending people to look for this information? Too weird.

"The one who hired me seemed to have a method of his own to confirm about Eyes Evil. I'm guessing they have an old photo of Eyes Evil. If they had technology like face detection, they could put together two photos of different ages and different faces to confirm whether or not the person was the same person." Klayver answered Alice's curiosity.

"Such technology really exists?" Alice still couldn't believe it.

"There was. It is like a fingerprint but is used for the face. If you ever have an initial photo, you can match another photo of yourself. No matter how you look, you've changed everything, that technology can still detect you."

Alice just heard there's a tool like this. If they could do all that, it would have to be that the party had an old photo of Klayver. I don't know where they got it.

"I know you already know Klayver isn't that simple. So, is your marriage to Klayver just a transaction marriage? I used to believe in love at first sight that you told Rachel. But given Klayver's complicated identity, I'm rethinking your marriage intentions."

Daniel is also one of the people who have intuition above average. He could conclude a situation quickly. Alice knew denying Daniel was a futile act.

"Yes. He promised to help me find out Anson's killer and kill them. He and I have such a strong condition that this marriage is intertwined."

Alice is reluctant to say that Kalyver wants to use William's organization. He could only explain at a glance about this marriage.

Alice was still shaken by the infornation Daniel had told her. Clearly, there was now another party who had known Klayver's identity. It's only time Daniel will be massacred by Klayver. Thinking of this made Alice even more depressed. Daniel's fate is getting complicated.

"Why did you take such a dangerous job, Daniel. Do you know your life could soon end up in Klayver's hands? He's a cruel man."

Alice's tears flowed down. He imagined the terrible fate that would soon befall Daniel. It's painful to imagine all this.

"I'm desperate, Alice. The one who hired me was the one who had saved me in the past. Actually, I could've turned down this job, but I was worried that it would take me down. Although on the surface they were nice to me, but I'm sure they must have planned something for me."

Daniel finally said it. After recording Klayver's photo, Daniel was struck by anxiety. He knew there was a strong danger of passing on this information. That was why he had deliberately said he would resign from this job, and The Queen responded coldly.

That's when Daniel understood this job was not as simple as he thought. At first, Daniel thought he could just walk out of this job. But the situation has developed beyond expectations. By force, Daniel hands over the tape about the clayver.

"But by passing this on to the other party, you automatically fight Klayver. He already knows that you're hunting him. If he finds out you've been spreading this news, it's only a matter of time that he'll kill you. That's why I'm here now. Wish you could still stop your intentions."

Alice covered her face in despair. Sadness again entered his heart. His chest felt tight and it was difficult to breathe. This matter has gone beyond their control. Only time can tell the fate of Daniel. The end they have.

"So, he already knows my movements? He has great intusion. Your husband is amazing." Daniel said lightly, hiding the look in his eyes that were getting depressed.

Honestly, Daniel was a little surprised to hear Klayver had learned of his actions. He did not expect it to be this fast the man felt the move he used.

Alice looked at Daniel with reddened eyes from a trace of crying. He knew even though Daniel responded lightly, basically the man was quite worried about imagining his fate. Alice believes Daniel's reaction is simply to calm Alice down. The man did not want Alice to be dragged into this matter.

"Daniel, can you get out of Manhattan for a while? Hide to a place unknown to Klayver. I'll cover your whereabouts as much as I can."

Alice was serious. This is the only way to find Daniel's salvation right now. The longer Daniel stays here, the greater the danger.

"Alice, Klayver is an expert hunter. He could capture the existence of someone easily. Going somewhere else would be a waste." Daniel conveyed his heart.

The reputation of Eyes Evil is legendary. He is known as a great hunter and killer. It has sharp eyes for slaughtering prey. That's why he got the nickname the devil's eye.

Alice grabbed Daniel's hand in a weak gesture. He clasped tightly onto the hand that had often sustained him in a slump. This hand became one of the precious hands in Alice's life.

"Run, Daniel. I beg. I will protect you as much as I can. At least, we should try to reach the end point even if the results are not as expected."

Even though Daniel's escape was merely a time-baiting affair, it was still worth fighting for.

Breath is something we have in life. If we have to run thousands of miles just to maintain one breath left, it's worth it.

Life becomes more precious when death is in sight. When time seems impossible for us to pursue and have. It is then that we know how much the breath God gives us.

"Alice, don't get into this. Let me handle the problems I've been making from the beginning. Do not throw yourself into danger. You're too precious to be dragged into ruin."

Daniel grabbed Alice and kissed the top of her head. He felt a deep fear from Alice. With his firm hands, Daniel patted him like a child.

"Remain alive well. Maybe I don't know myself too much. Maybe I don't have shame. But, Alice. I already love you. Live to connect my breath that may end at any time."
