The Rhyme of the Depositary

The Rhyme of the Depositary
018 - SEASON 2

Thirteen days passed quickly. Days changed by week. Until it was not felt, the wedding day Alice with Klayver arrived.

Their marriage was very extraordinary. From the start, Klayver has said it will declare their marriage publicly. In other words, he deliberately provoked himself to be recognized among the upper class and the arsictocrats. It was one of the efforts so that he could infiltrate deeper in the world of the nobility. He needed to field himself fully with the identity of being the husband of a wealthy noble.

Alice stood in an ivory white dress with an elaborate design. He took an oath of allegiance with Klayver witnessed by thousands of invitations. They joined hands, giving an amazing show.

This wedding decoration is definitely not an abal-abal decoration. A building hall with an area of almost three thousand meters was transformed into a room full of romance.

Klayver, do something very unexpected. Although her personality was quite introverted, but she showed the sincerity and gentleness of her attitude to Alice in the presence of many people.

Attitude is more powerful than words. Klayver's sincere gaze was like a magnet that could draw attention to them. In fact, Rachel managed to trick them.

This marriage is not a show of excessive romantic drama that makes people nauseous. But they present a natural attitude and highlight the fake worship that seems deep.

Not far from Alice's side, Rachel shed tears of joy. He wiped the corner of his face and smiled slightly. Alice was lucky. He was able to find love so quickly. After all the ups and downs he had experienced before, finally his best friend was able to find heaven again. More than anything, Rachel was grateful for it all.

Now, there is a story of his life that still has no direction. Her marriage was chaotic, her partner was only a temporary partner, and her life was bland with no meaning. Maxen did not even bother to attend to accompany him to this event.

By nightfall, guests were still crowded. Rachel is still faithfully accompanying Alice. He maintained a fake smile perfectly.

"Rachel, are you okay?" Alice asked worriedly, feeling that something was wrong with the reaction of her theme.

"good. It's just, the wedding party traumatized me a little." Rachel smiled awkwardly. She still vividly remembers how much pain she had had when Harry left a letter as the reason for her departure from their marriage. All of that was still too sharp in Rachel's memories.

"What if you calm yourself down in the backyard. The situation there is more comfortable so you don't have to remember your old memories." Alice gently touched Alice's shoulder. She understood Rachel's pain and took the initiative to ease the burden her theme felt.

"Oh, okay. You okay if I leave you for a minute?" Rachel was a little worried.

"Go, Rachel." Alice smiled sincerely.

After Rachel passed away, Klayver immediately approached her. There was no physical touch that the man gave. But somehow, his thick aura was more than enough as a signal of his existence.

"You enjoying this party?" tanyanya flat. Their distance is pretty close. Klayver slightly lowered his head when asking questions so that their position seemed romantic.

"Not really. When are we gonna end this ridiculous show?" ask Alice in a cold tone. The aura that Klayver carried was extremely domineering. Alice doesn't really like Klayver's automatically formed arrogance.

"Awhile more. I'm gathering clues from some people" Klayver explained with a small smile.

Alice was a little surprised. He rarely saw Klayver smile like this. Seeing her doing it, a little interesting curiosity that Alice had.

"Hint? About what?" Alice is after Klayver.

Klayver leaned his body closer. He whispered a sentence right in Alice's ear. His baritone voice sounded deep and heavy.

"About a few things. One of them is about the people I suspect to be my enemies and about the people involved in the death of your late husband."

Alice took a few steps back. Klayver's words tickled her nerves so much that Alice was disturbed. He tried to cut off their contact and turned in any direction. After a while, Alice turned to Klayver and asked a question.

"Are all these people here?" Alice is not sure.

Clayman smiled back. This time his smile was colder and more cruel. It was as if with that smile he was ready to kill and slaughter many people.

Alice furrowed withstanding the unnatural fear reaction. Being around this person is definitely not simple. All of his emotions were stirred up like a roller coster. His adrenaline is always pumped beyond the maximum limit.

"I guess most of it is here. That's why it's lucky to have a wedding with a big event and invite all the influential people."

Alice nodded small. He always salutes the intelligence possessed by Klayver. This man was detailed enough in planning something that Alice called him the king of planners.

"Let's make a diversion for a bit. Dance with me."

Klayver reached out and knelt down gracefully. Many pairs of eyes began to stare towards them and revealed cries of astonishment. Who would have thought that a man who seemed cold at a glance was able to behave that extraordinary pants to his wife. What a perfect couple. Alice was really lucky to get it.

Alice closed her eyes. He had no choice but to accept Klayver's invitation. Many eyes were on them. It would be unethical if he refused the request of the man who had now become Alice's legal husband.

However, the thought of moving together in a dance with an assassin actually lowered his mentality to the lowest level. Everything Klayver has is too complicated and scary. Many times Alice could not guess the direction of this man's mind.

Alice's hand trembled slightly as she welcomed Kalyver's helping hand. The fingers of this man felt warm, strong, and sturdy. Alice felt more fragile and helpless.

Slowly, Klayver guided Alice to the dance floor. A mellow song was filling this room. The strains of Violin add to the romantic atmosphere. With a lithe gesture, this man started taking the first move that Alice immediately followed.

Alice's gaze fell deeply. He only looked at the beige ceramic floor. Cold sweat began to splash through his nape and palm. He frowned a few times as he accidentally hit Klayver's sturdy leg.

Klayver's closeness brought no advantage at all to Alice. There was precisely his fear as if it was growing many times over. The cold and cruel weather that this man had was increasingly disturbing Alice. Making the air he breathes feel heavy every time.

"You're tense." Klayver said lightly. He understood the overreaction Alice had. Both of his hands felt moist due to the cold sweat that women overproduced.

Alice was silent. He had no intention of asking Klayver's symbolic questions. For what he answered if the reality was clearly exposed before the eyes.

"Yes." Yeah." Alice raised her head and rubbed with Klayver's golden eyes. His sudden movements made them stare at each other in a fairly close distance. Real close.

From the past, Alice was not very skilled when dealing with dance or singing. His most outstanding expertise is in the exact field. Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and such. That is why he is interested in the business world. Because the world seemed to be his passion long ago.

Alice lowered her head again, following Klayver's extremely flexible movements. Inwardly, he did not expect this man to be quite skilled at dancing. His body is flexible and his movements are natural. Very contrast with him. Ambrul aduan not kaluan.

This man brought a new surprise to him. Of all the things Alice was able to guess, dancing was definitely not on the top list.

Besides dancing, Kalyver is also good at cooking. Alice once tried her cooking and admitted with a heavy heart that this man is quite worthy of being called an expert. Beyond Rachel. He seems like a multi-skilled creature. Whatever he can do. The most outstanding talent was certainly related to his dark profession. A hitman.

After the music finished two rounds, Klayver decided to stop their dance. Alice breathed a sigh of relief. At least, he felt safe now. Out of the confines of Klayver's evil and cruel aura.

Alice saw Axel running around and approaching her. He soon left Klayver and welcomed his only son. The sparkles of happiness in Alice's eyes grew more and more in each step she took to get closer to Axel.

"Mom, you were so amazing dancing together ... together. Vaquez," praised Axel stammering. He still awkwardly mentioned Klayver. It seems like this kid is reluctant to call him Dad. Alice understood this situation and did not force her son too much. After all, Axel was still too small to understand the entire situation.

"Oh, really? I thought I was a really bad dancer." Alice glanced around and breathed a sigh of relief as she realized Klayver was no longer around them. The man went nowhere. His steps were always undetectable at all.

"No, Mom. Actually, to be honest, you're really, really bad at dancing." Axel closed his small mouth after making the confession.

Alice was not angry. He laughed and ruffled his favorite son's hair. This child despite his age of five years, but his intelligence is above average. Alice was always proud of him.

"Did I offend Mom?" axel asked without a guilty look at all.

"Yes. You're so offensive to my heart, honey. Don't do that anymore" Alice said with a big smile.

"Oh, that's right. Practice dancing if you don't want to be teased again by me, Mom. Your moves are so embarrassing." Axel's ruffled around like an adult. Both of his eyes were glaring sharply, like the look of an eye Anson used to have.

Oh God. Remembering about that figure always made his heart ache. He shook his head, trying to get rid of the pain that suddenly plagued him.

"Am I that bad?" ask Alice not sure.

Axel took a few steps back, doing some dance moves to show Alice with a pattern that was too thick and too stiff.

"That's how Mom danced. Oh no, it's not like that. Mom's twice as bad."

Alice smiled at her son's laughter. Inwardly, he was grateful that Axel had managed to return little by little like before. No longer stuck in suffering and a protracted sense of loss.

"Axel," call Alice carefully. He knelt down, to align himself high with his son.

Axel's forehead is seriously wrinkled. He sort of caught the situation that his mother would deliver something quite important.

"May Mom ask for something?" ask Alice seriously. His tone was slightly lowered, so only the two of them heard him.

Axel nodded excitedly. Alice was the only woman who was most compassionate to him. He's a mother, a best friend, and a father for the past year. Of course whatever Alice wants will always be Axel's priority scale. Whatever it is.

"If you're still not ready to call Klayver daddy, Mom won't force you. Mom knows daddy Anson has always been the best daddy to you. But Mom asked, could you, in a public place, call Klayver Daddy? Only in public places. Let's start playing the show from now on. You want?"

Axel shook his body left and right. He seemed to be thinking hard. After some time passed, he looked at Alice with a questioning look.

"Would it be at home when there's a waiter I should call him Dad?" ask Axel curious. She still doesn't know why Alice asked her to play the show. But Axel was quite enthusiastic about it.

Alice was silent for a moment. He was reminded again by Klayver's words before this. The man speculated that an insider had leaked information about Anson. In this case, the insider Klayver meant could be anyone. If he wanted things to go smoothly, he had to make this play perfect. There is no gap.

"Yes. Even in front of the waiter. In front of Aunty Rachel and Uncle Daniel you should call him Dad. Okay?"

Alice glanced through the entire room. Tonight he didn't see Daniel at all. What's wrong with that guy? Is he busy enough in business to not have time to attend Alice's wedding?

Alice shook her head slightly and just guessed the reason. He looked back at Axel and gently rubbed his son's small arm.

"Alright, Mom. I want to do this show." Axel's index and middle fingers point upwards, forming a promise with a serious facial expression. Alice smiled gently and was satisfied. His son is absolutely amazing.

Shortly after they had spoken, Klayver approached Alice. He nodded small, gesturing that his business was done. Alice nodded back in response to the sign language the man had thrown at her.

"Hi Klayver, emh .. hi Dad," Axel looked at Klayver timidly. For some reason, the figure in front of him made Axel's fear grow bigger every time he got close to him.

Kalyver looked at Alice and Axel in turn. His face is illegible. He finally came to a conclusion and nodded small.

"Hi too, champ," he said flatly. There was no warmth or tenderness at all. Alice rounded her eyes and let out a small sigh. How would their relationship develop if Klayver's reaction was cold like this? My God, Alice's life is getting complicated.

As Alice sank into despair, suddenly a male guest came to greet her. He walked with William. Alice frowned doubtfully. Could he be William's friend?

"Madam, congratulations on this marriage. Tonight I brought a friend as well as a subordinate of trust. Introduce. Name's Harry. Harry Millian."
