The Rhyme of the Depositary

The Rhyme of the Depositary
106 - SEASON 2

The morning sun slowly penetrated through a large window that was left open by its curtains. A cold wind blows through the cracks of the air vents. The trees in the courtyard were still falling, leaving the leaves strewn on the ground with a characteristic moist aroma.

Jasmine was curled up in a room in a comfortable position. He turned his body several times to the side, seeking additional warmth under Daniel's thick blanket.

Not far from him, a man stared at Jasmine's figure with a special gaze. He was sitting in a single chair with a high backrest, turning his back to the sunlight that began to spread on his back.

The man's gaze grew more and more manageable to Jasmine. One of his hands he held under his chin, creating a dominant position that the man rarely showed to others.

Slowly, Jasmine moved several times looking for a more comfortable position. He stretched his body, blinked several times and covered his face with one hand to block the sunlight that entered his pupils.

Either because of the glare or because she realized that this was not her room, Jasmine suddenly opened her eyes completely and gazed around the room. He looked surprised to see himself in a room that did not belong to him. The room he had been staying in for a month and a half with Alice.

Jasmine's shock grew as she watched a man closely watching her on a high-backed chair. He rounded his mouth to form the letter O and blinked in disbelief.

"Daniel?" he said with a hoarse voice. He narrowed his eyes, giving focus to his sense of sight in order to stare more seriously.

Is correct. That was Daniel. This room also belongs to Daniel. Jasmine still remembered the details she had captured from the first time she had struck a deal with Daniel some time ago.

If the figure in front of him is Daniel, and he is in the man's place, it means that what happened last night is indeed a reality.

Who took him by force from the club and addong him without knowing manners. Who grumbled at length while carrying his body like an item, none other than Daniel Stranger. The man that Jasmine valued was impossible to pay any more attention to her.

"You're sober? I thought a drunk woman like you would take a long time to regain consciousness and wake up normally." Daniel commented. He was still staring at Jasmine without moving at all.

Confused, Jasmine caught the comment and cursed little. Goody. He was drunk last night. His mood was chaotic after much remembering about his daughter so he thought that alcohol was the most potent solution. In fact, under such circumstances, Daniel appeared at an inopportune moment.

"You say that like you've never been drunk." Jasmine grumbling. He stared at the appearance of Daniel who was still wearing sleeping pajamas.

"I've never. But it's not as bad as you can even vomit other people's dresses and shirts." Daniel shook his head slowly, as if scorning the woman's reckless actions.

Confused, Jasmine stared at the clothes she was wearing and she looked surprised to realize she had been wearing a silver-colored bathrobe with a typical male scent, more specifically the scent of Daniel.

Oh God. How could he be unconscious and late realize he had changed clothes since the last time he remembered. She wore a red dress last night high above the knee. Now, I don't know where the dress is. Jasmine stared at the floor, swept around and still failed to find the thing she was looking for.

"Have you done this?" Jasmine pointed at the clothes she was wearing, gesturing at who had changed her clothes last night.

"Who else? I don't really like to trouble a waitress for such a trivial job as replacing a drunken bawling outfit." Daniel shrugged both of his shoulders, feeling ridiculous himself.

"Oh, I don't think you're just replacing me with clothes. Pretty clever excuse for you to use to steal a chance, Daniel!" Jasmine looked at the man before her with an unaccepting look. He accused Daniel of feeling used in such a way.

Daniel's face darkened immediately. She has never been accused of being that low by anyone, let alone being a lowly woman who has often made her body a dirty deal. Why would Daniel do that? It was as if the women in this world only had Jasmine. He thought he was a man who did not sell so he needed to use himself in an unconscious state?

They both look at each other meaningfully. One was angry at feeling accused, one was angry at being considered too low. Both have opposite sides. They are like wild animals trapped in the most unpleasant situations.

"You say as if you were a god doing holy things all the time. You forget a guy like you still needs a woman like me. Don't judge yourself too highly." Jasmine shouted in disbelief. He uncovers the blanket that was still covering him and stands up from the bed in a rough motion.

Man and all his ego. Something Jasmine always hated. They always act as if the woman is just a fleeting impingement without needing to be seen the meaning. More than that, they do not want to be called cheap men despite their hobby of wearing cheap women. How are they different from the objects they use?

Officials who use the services of women night, they refuse to be called men night. Entrepreneurs who use the services of women are low, they do not want to be considered as low entrepreneurs.

Is it because their opposites are the party who uses and the party who spends money so that they feel not worthy of being labeled cheap? Is it because someone has paid something, then considered able to take away sins for himself and let the women who bear the low of their self-esteem?

If that is the formula, then everyone in the world is petty. Jasmine did not dodge him was indeed cheap and lowly. But whoever uses his services knowingly, they are also of the same class. It makes no difference, even if they have poured a lot of dollars for this.

Moral values apply to all races and all genders, not limited to men or women. Not limited to him who pays or is paid. It is not limited to him who uses or is used. Everything is the same. It has the same barometer and it cannot change.

"I don't judge myself too highly. You're the one who's too catapulted your own scores" Daniel said.

They looked at each other with hatred. There was a fire of fury that began to form between them, growing stronger and thicker in the air. Making the atmosphere of a morning that should be cool refined the autumn wind, into a morning full of emotions and anger.

"Lelaki is like that. You have as much ego as the petty people out there. It's always women like me who are to blame. When are you going to blame your own conscience and intospection on the real situation? Not always lowly people like me deserve to be judged lowly!" Jasmine stomped her feet, venting out her emotions that were already in the crown.

Seeing Jasmine's chaotic mood, Daniel so swore an oath in his heart. The woman had no gratitude at all. He's been helped while drunk, taken to his house, taken care of, but look what he's doing. Accusing Daniel so easily and judging him with many things that Daniel himself did not understand.

Is the anger of women like this? If so, it's lucky Daniel doesn't have a wife yet. Living with a creature that can explode at any time must not be too comfortable. He can age prematurely. Just this time Daniel is grateful for his position that is still single.

"Your brain really has a problem, Jasmine. You accuse me of using you, getting angry at me for ever using your services, and swearing like that. Where's your common sense? For a long time I felt faced with monsters. If you feel like you have a problem, just get your business done! Don't involve me with your senseless anger!" Daniel stood up violently, making the chair he was sitting on crouching backwards with a loud thumping sound.

The atmosphere became more tense. No one spoke at all after Daniel had vented his anger. Jasmine simply stared at the chair in front of her with a blank look. The woman's expression was completely illegible. His eyes dimmed and darkened suddenly. It seemed like Jasmine's mood was unstable. He is easily carried away and provoked by his emotions.

"Get out! I need some time alone!" pinta Jasmine in a soft voice. Seeing Daniel in this room from the moment he slept, it was an act that normal men should not do. It's only natural that Jasmine accuses Daniel of a no-no. That man has provoked accusations against himself. Don't blame Jasmine for this.

Without a word, Daniel exited the room, moving away from Jasmine with quick steps. He woke up early this morning. He slept no more than half an hour. That was why Daniel chose to come to Jasmine's room quietly and look at the woman who was sound asleep, she said,

If you want to look back, Daniel himself wondered why he had thoughts like this. Sitting and staring at a sleeping woman is not her hobby. This woman is Jasmine. A person who has often contradicted himself in every way.

For Chrissakes. Daniel is still normal and has no abnormalities at all. The desire to stare at Jasmine needed him to investigate in more detail. Could it be that there is a part of his brain that is working against the current so that he is interested in things that should not be?

Weakly, Daniel shook his head. He restored his rambur and began to sigh small. This time he made a mistake. Something he realized too late.
