The Rhyme of the Depositary

The Rhyme of the Depositary
090 - SEASON 2

Daniel sat in front of the computer. He spent an hour in the study researching many reports and brilliant ideas from his men.

The music of the early nineties flowed softly from the sound in the corner of the room. Daniel propped a hand to the side of his face and stared blankly at the screen in front of him.

Daniel's lost his way. That's the proper name he put for himself. It all started last night when he offered to ask Jasmine for a night. Out of all the reactions Daniel expected, he turned out to be blatantly rejected by Jasmine.

Daniel thought women like Jasmine would accept every offer. In fact, he chose to reject her.

Part of Daniel was hurt. There was a side of him that was still scratched when Daniel's pride was rejected by Jasmine directly.

I don't know what reason Jasmine kept. Daniel doesn't know. But it was getting worse in his heart. What exactly is Jasmine refusing? Could it be because of his quite obvious dislike when they were together? Anyone could see between Daniel and Jasmine there was no shuffle at all.

There is always conflict and debate. One of the others always demeans the other. It could be an underlying factor.

So, it's funny that Daniel suddenly said the request in person.

Daniel stood confused, and thought about what he should do.

The desire he had for Jasmine was too great and uncontrollable. The shadow about the woman was able to ruin her entire focus even while Daniel was working it could not be lost.

Daniel had to do something to calm himself down. He needs a neutralizer. The only thing he could think of to temper his passion was to have Jasmine for one night. Perhaps, with that one night all the crazy things that were bothering him could be lifted. Daniel's focus goes back to the beginning and Daniel's days are better.

Sometimes, an obsession will continue to grow and grow, demanding to be satisfied. In fact, if once the obsession is satisfied, the thirst will disappear forever.

Daniel sighed softly, cursing himself who had a crazy obsession with paid women like Jasmine.

What good is Jasmine? Beauitiful? There are a lot of good women out there who are prettier. Clever? There were thousands of other women whose intelligence capacity was better than Jasmine's. Rich? Jasmine is not the only woman with high wealth.

So, why did Daniel's tendency fall on that woman?

Maddened. That was Daniel's reasonable answer. Because of common sense Daniel began to erode irregular working hours so that he could no longer choose which women are good and not. Thats problem.

If this continues to bother him, Daniel is tempted to go to a psychologist.

Irritated, Daniel turned off the computer on the desk and removed some irregular maps. Tomorrow's tuesday. His irregular work hours will start again

Jasmine sat on the bedroom bed, staring at the laptop screen that displayed many incoming emails. Jasmine intends to respond to some important emails. But over half an hour he was here, there were only two words he had just typed and then he deleted again.

Mind empty. Brain's screwed.

The only thing he was thinking about right now was Daniel's sudden request to do his one-night deal.

Jasmine knew what kind of man Daniel was. He's not disinterested, he just doesn't want to be something he's just used to make fun of.

Daniel's goal is clear. Just to demean Jasmine and tell Jasmine's position was far from appropriate.

Daniel is a very outrageous man. It doesn't matter Daniel hates Jasmine. It didn't matter that Daniel hated the profession that Jasmine did. But neither should the man make an offer just to take Jasmine down.

Now, either for the sake of satisfying the curiosity or for the sake of further dropping Jasmine, Daniel offers a transaction with her.

Unfortunately, there was a fragile side that Daniel could build on in the part of Jasmine's heart. If he accepts the offer, Jasmine fears that her heart will be broken when Daniel drops Jasmine even lower.

Jasmine only has business. His heart and soul have been mortgaged for a long time. Now, Daniel's sudden arrival in an accidental way made Jasmine feel anxious. The woman was worried that somehow Daniel would hurt her

Strange indeed. But Jasmine was a person who paid great attention to her own instincts. He's been relying on this for years. For a long time the instinct he had sharpened with age.

The sound of knocking on the door sounded loud. Jasmine frowned and opened the door of the room she had locked. Behind the door, Alice stood looking at him with the phone.

"There's a call from Daniel for you." Alice turned the object to Jasmine and passed away.

Jasmine stared at the thing she was holding. His forehead crept in. His heart began to wonder.

Daniel called? Wh-wh-what for?

"Yes? What's up, Daniel?" Jasmine closed the bedroom door and walked towards the bed. Carefully, he turned off the laptop and placed it on the nightstand.

"I want to talk about yesterday's offer." Daniel's voice was heavy.

Jasmine froze for a moment and listened carefully. Could it be that Daniel would offer the deal back to her just to make fun of Jasmine?

Men sometimes have difficult thoughts to feel. Makes us think only.

"What's wrong?" Jasmine repeated her question.

"Why did you reject my offer yesterday, Jasmine? In what way would you take that offer from me?"

That question made Jasmine peck for a while. Jasmine had no idea what to respond to. In the depths of her heart, Jasmine knew this was just a game of jensets like Daniel to take her down.

If Daniel wanted a woman, why would Jasmine? Is there no other woman ready? Young and established men like Daniel are easy to find a partner. It makes no sense to want Jasmine. Except for a worse purpose than that.

"I don't need to be humbled by you, Daniel. So keep that cunning plan of yours. If you're serious about hiring a woman, I'll give it to you, at a normal rate of course. How's it?" jasmine was being rational.

Daniel was silent for a moment. He then conveyed something.

"What if I promise I won't make this as something that will hurt you later. I don't have any purpose. I just purely want to make a transaction with you. Only thou. You still reject me? This is my last request for a mutual agreement. How'd you answer?"

Jasmine clasped the phone tightly. He's in a dilemma. Daniel does not seem to have bad intentions to make the deal he offers as a mockery. Could Jasmine dare to come forward to take this offer?

"Jasmine?" Daniel wants certainty.

Jasmine's mouth was hard for her to move. Slowly, he said something.

"alright. But I have to take care of Alice. You have a suggestion where we're going to do it?"
