The Rhyme of the Depositary

The Rhyme of the Depositary
063 - SEASON 2

Alice stepped back to look at Klayver's attitude. The aura of Klayver exuded an extremely powerful dominance. His usual eyes were looking at her softly, now staring at Alice sharply.

Kayver did not allow Alice to stay away. He held the woman's waist and imprisoned her in a strong embrace. His hands are as hard as iron. Trapping Alice's body in her arms.

"I don't like mine being within reach of other men" Klayver said sharply. Every word does not want to be disputed. He is now like a king, who demands that all his commandments be fulfilled without many words.

Alice closed her eyes feeling depressed. He smiled slightly and tried to issue a defense.

"He's my friend. Nothing more. You're my only man, Klayver. There's nothing else."

Alice knew a guy like Klayver must have a big ego. He was used to taking whatever he wanted without negotiation. Even the lives of others are nothing more than objects for fun.

Therefore, Alice whom he had considered his own would be impossible for him to allow to see Daniel. In this case, Klayver actually applied the principle of ancient men.

Behind his modern figure and the suit he used, there was a true chauvinish figure.

"I never like to share mine with others." Klayver rubbed Alice's back up and down, then formed a circular pattern with her thumb.

"I'm not—"

"Don't do that again, sweet heart." Klayver approached Alice and looked at her lips meaningfully.

No matter how angry this man was towards Alice, seeing her gentle face and beauty charm always made Klayver's anger fade.

With this woman, he would never be able to continue venting anger. Alice is like flowing water. Its existence brings freshness and quenches thirst.

Klayver kissed Alice's lips hard and pushed her into the bed. Sometimes, resentment needs to be channeled in other ways.

Two hours after they shared their love, Klayver looked at his wife with meaning. He hugged Alice's waist and clasped this woman's head gently.

"Did I hurt you?" klayver asked a little worried. He was having a harder relationship than usual. In a sense, Klayver was worried that it might hurt Alice. Their union was not as gentle as before, even though they both enjoyed it.

"No." Alice nodded weakly. He still felt uneasy about the matter of his meeting with Daniel being questioned by Klayver.

His friendship with Daniel has gone well. Although not as long as with Alice, their relationship therapy is quite good. Daniel had helped her a lot when Alice had a problem with Anson first.

How could Alice break such a friendship? Klayver shouldn't have thought badly of himself.

"Are you really upset about my meeting with Daniel?"

Klayver's eyes again sharpened at Alice's question. He doesn't like this talk. Her embrace grew stronger, making Alice feel uncomfortable.

"I don't like watching you sit down and joke around with other guys."

"So, did you see me? Why don't you greet me?"

Klayver was silent for a long time. He needed to rest his mind after taking care of some matters related to the case he was investigating. Unexpectedly in the caffee he actually saw the existence of his own wife.

"No interest in greeting" he said flatly.

Alice only blinked her eyes a few times, choosing to give up. Klayver is currently unable to speak. Alice would rather be silent.

Klayver let go of his embrace and got out of bed. He walked out of the room, towards the balcony outside.

The cold night air greeted the skin of his friend. The wind rustled slowly, like a perfect harmony of nature.

The sky is a perfect sight. Stars spread irregularly, spreading their flickering rays. The moon up there looks perfect. Declaring the elegance he possessed.

Night is one of the things that still has beauty in the midst of the depravity of the world in various ways. This scene seemed to be formed from another dimension. Too beautiful and too perfect.

Klayver's face looked pondering. His mind is filled with many things.

Ever since she married Alice, Klayver has been gripped by a sense of possessiveness. He just wanted this woman's smile and laughter for a Klayver. He wanted this woman's mind to be shared only with him. He wanted only himself to be the leaning ground for Alice. Place home and place back.

Seeing him smile at another man, all of it made a part of him feel uprooted. Something he just felt now.

In the past, when he was with Holy, the possessiveness he had was not as great as it is now. With Holy, all such things just happen. But Alice made him feel many other emotions.

Sometimes what shackles Klayver feels beyond reason. Because he wants Klayver to be the center of Alice's world. So that he did not want to leave anything else that could make Alice turn her head.

His emotions are unhealthy for a long time. Like social beings, Alice must need communication with others. Klayver can't be selfish by holding her in a restraint.

After calming down for a long time, Klayver returned to his room and was a little surprised to find his wife still awake. Alice looked at him for a long time, gesturing that he was indeed deliberately waiting for her.

"Is there a problem?" ask Alice not sure. She clearly saw a different look on her husband's face than usual. Klayver is a person who is smart to hide emotions so that Alice is difficult to feel the mood of her own husband.

"I realized maybe my actions were too restrictive on you, Alice. For a moment, my mind became narrow. So, maybe in the future I'll fix this." Clayver said seriously. He sat down by the side of the bed, looking at Alice as if asking for an understanding.

Klayver is not shy about admitting mistakes. His family has educated the importance of an attitude of responsibility, including the courage to apologize if one of them makes a mistake. This may not be the case for others in general. Klayver is clearly unwilling to apologize to any of his victims. But, for the person who has become his family, the formula is enforced.

"You?" Alice still doesn't understand.

"Since I've known you, there's been a dominant side that I've had a hard time controlling. Sometimes it makes me subconsciously control you. Can you tell you that?" Clayver smiled slightly.

Alice replied to him with the same friendly smile and hugged her husband's neck.

"All right, I'm sorry. So, you won't be mad if I see Daniel tomorrow, will you?" Alice hugged her husband's burly body, smiling at Klayver's natural opiate-like scent.

Klayver's eyes showed dislike and answered Alice flatly. "Don't ever lure me, Alice. Giving you freedom doesn't mean you can. There must be a limit to your attitude."

Alice grumbled in her heart. It's the same as it turned out. Sorry is just a Klayver frill for now. In fact, he was not willing if Alice was too close to Daniel. Basic guy.

His friendship with Daniel was strong. He does not want Alice's marriage to Klayver to make their friendship extinct. Love will never overcome friendship.

"alright. Had Daniel been married, maybe seeing you meet him often wouldn't have been too much of a problem."

Alice widened her eyes. Danie's married? Well, that must be something quite difficult for now. No one knew the kind of woman Daniel wanted. How can Alice help him find his heart?

"You have a potential candidate?" ask Alice suddenly.

"Huh?"

"Women who can roughly be Daniel's companion."

Klayver looked at Alice as if Alice had raised horns on both sides of her head. How can Alice have an interest in things she shouldn't. Tackle Daniel? Just be right.

Nowadays, men will be more interested in finding their own women instead of being sought by others. If Daniel was still sane enough, he would definitely not want anyone to interfere in his affairs in terms of romance.

"Stop thinking about it, Alice. Let Daniel find his own woman. Don't get too involved in other people's problems. Not good for you." Klayver.

Alice sighed in disappointment and returned to laying down her body. He looked at the ceiling of the room and began to close his eyes.

"Have you contacted Mom and Axel again?" klayver asked suddenly, shifting the subject.

This diversion of the topic made Alice even more inflamed. She opened her eyes again and looked at her husband.

Last afternoon on the way home, Violin contacted him for a while. What Violin said made Alice a little upset.

"Yes, Violin said she'll be visiting Angel's house for some time. He asked Axel to extend his vacation for the next fifteen days. You know how Violin is. I can't argue with him. My God, my son was held twenty days away from me." Violin covered her face dramatizing the atmosphere. He groaned softly, irritated at the request of the in-laws.

Who would have thought that the extended grandmother could develop a relationship that far to her son? Alice thought their relationship would only be a platonic one. It was really unexpected that their bond would be this close.

"Leave it. Isn't Axel going to have an early autumn vacation as well? He was on vacation there. By the way, I'll be gone a little while next week. I have business to do."

Alice looked at kalyver. There was seriousness in her husband's eyes. For some reason, Alice felt Klayver's business this time was quite serious.

Alice was worried. Klayver doesn't usually remind Alice of her disappearance in advance. It was like a reminder of the serious problems Klayver was facing.

Until now, Alice never knew what problems Klayver was still in. Could it be that he had secretly received the order to kill? Or is there another case that still overshadows Klayver? Another case he hid from Alice.

Alice wants to know more about Klayver's other side. But every time he wanted to ask, Klayver put up an invisible distance. It was as if there was an invisible wall in their eyes. Finally, Alice would not want to be satisfied with the situation.

Klayver still remains a secret and a riddle. There is a part of him that he keeps hidden from the world. Alice always hit a big wall if she tried to dig out the darkest part of her husband.

Sometimes, when Alice is overcome by dreams and delusions, she hopes that someday Klayver will be able to leave the dark world she now lives in. As a normal woman, she wanted her husband to have a normal life without the risk of being killed at any time.

However, back again, Alice did not have that much power to control Klayver. After all, he knew Klayver in this state. He doesn't want to sue more than Klayver. If Klayver chooses to quit the dark business, Alice wants Klayver to do so on her own initiative.

Alice believes that something good must come from the heart. Outsiders are just being the motivators. Indeed, the intention is in each individual.

"Is there a problem, Klayver?" Although Alice knew Klayver must have chosen to keep all her problems on her own, she asked. Just looking for luck if Klayver suddenly chose to open up to him.

"There's a little obstacle. I'll send my men to guard this residence from a safe distance."

"What's up, Klayver? Is it that bad?" Alice smiled bitterly. Under these circumstances, Klayver still chose to hide the problem.

"It's okay. Just a minor issue. You don't have to worry!" Klayver.

Inwardly, he felt a little guilty for hiding the matter from his own wife. But judging from the seriousness of the problem, it would be safer for Alice not to know it at all. There is a saying that sometimes curiosity can kill a person.

For some people, there is a limit to keeping the other side of themselves hidden. Not because he does not believe in the loyalty of others, but rather because he wants to protect those closest to him.

"Alice, by the way, you were still keeping a transaction book when Anson was still diving into the black world?"

Some time ago, Alice had shown this evidence to Klayver to make it easier for the man to find the root cause of Anson's murder.

"Yes, is there a problem?"

"Do you want to turn the evidence over to the police?" klayver asked Alice to remind her of something she should have taken care of as early as possible after Maxen's case yesterday was over.

Alice felt bad. On the other hand he wants to uphold justice and give the book to the authorities, but he is afraid his name will be linked to sensitive information that could endanger lives.

On the other hand, he wanted to keep quiet to avoid trouble. But if he is silent, the truth will be buried without being revealed to the surface. Is it fair for the world to hide this information?

Alice was not a saint, but she wanted to do right. What's he supposed to do?

"Come, Klayver. Whaddya think? What is the best thing I can do about the book?" Alice asked her husband's opinion. He feels dilemma.

Klayver pensively for a moment. More than anyone else, he knew the book was extremely sensitive and could bring danger. If anyone was involved in the transaction and managed to find out Alice had information about it, Alice's life would be in danger.

"If you believe me. Let me keep the book for a while. In time, if I find the right person from the legal institution to receive the book, I will give it to him. I'm afraid you'll be dragged into danger if you keep a sensitive book like that, Alice." Klayver expressed her heart.

The book is too sensitive. Not even people in legal institutions can all be trusted. Klayver is indeed a killer, but he still values a truly righteous and trustworthy enforcer.

During this time that Klayver met, legal institutions were just a mere formality. The individuals are corrupt people who are holy-spirited.

"Alright, Klayver. I trust you. I'll hand it to you tomorrow!"
