Klayver managed to bring Violin home during the early hours of the morning show. Alice was not asleep at the time. She is accompanied by Jasmine, Rachel, and Maxen.
Maxen is currently being pretty good with Alice. It seems that he has his own sympathy for Alice so willing to help Alice through some things.
Because of Maxen's friendly attitude, Alice also responded with the same attitude. He made no trouble by provoking a fuss over trivial matters and occasionally smiled at the man.
Rachel who saw Alice's development also smiled slightly. All of this was a very significant development for Rachel. Usually, if Alice meets Maxen, the two people are like cats with dogs. Always the enemy.
In the early hours of the morning, when Alice had just begun to sleep, she was startled by Caterine who brought news that her husband and in-laws had returned. Alice rushed out.
"You brought Violin?" ask Alice to worry. He walked out of the room and passed Klayver at the end of the hallway to the stairs.
"Yes. But right now Mom needs to be alone. He needs privacy." Klayver smiled slightly, hiding a lot of things.
"What's up, klayver?"
"There's nothing."
"Impossible. If it's okay, you won't stop me from meeting Violin." Alice frowned, trying to guess the circumstances.
Klayver looked at Alice for a long time. Looks like the man is weighing something. After a while had passed, he grabbed Alice's arm and guided her to their room.
"Klayver, things are pretty precarious right now. Can we delay what you want to do?" alice asked not to understand.
For months Alice and Klayver hadn't seen each other. They must have missed each other enough. Their longing can only be harbored and cannot be vented in any other form. Instead, maybe Klayver wants to create a romantic evening together.
"You think, what am I gonna do?" Klayver grimaced small, touching the tip of his wife's innocent-looking nose. This woman is still naive to the size of a clayver.
"Otherwise? Pasti—"
"We need to talk about something very important. Before you came to see Violin, I thought you better know this first." Klayver explained his heart. He was still guiding Alice to their room. To the very end of this hallway.
The clayver closes the door automatically. He checked the situation around then sat in a special chair not far from the nightstand. Alice sat at the end of the bed.
"What's up, Klayver?" ask Alice later. The woman showed a serious expression. He prepared himself to see whatever news Klayver was going to tell him.
"I killed James. I killed Dad."
A confession came out of Klayver's lips. Klayver's eyes looked dull. He seemed to be remembering the worst moments of his life.
"You …."
"I killed Dad."
Klayver repeated the same thing.
As Klayver pulled the trigger to finish off his father, he pointed to his flat face and expressionless expression. But in his heart there was a great war. His conscience was in a major rebellion.
There was nothing easy in the attitude that Klayver took. The decision was the result of an old inner conflict. The outside viewer is flat. But behind it all, Klatver bears a huge burden.
Who is the child who can easily kill his parents? There aren't. Unless the kid's crazy. In Klayver's case, killing James was the hardest thing for him.
"Oh my God." Alice closed her mouth in disbelief. He stood up suddenly from his seat and walked over towards Kalyver.
"I'm a monster, Alice. You're not afraid of me? I killed my own father."
"No. No. gabe. You must have a very strong reason. Tell me everything. What the hell is going on?" Alice kneels in front of Klayver. She looked at her husband's face with emotion.
Throughout Alice's knowledge, Klayver was a responsible person and always thought of family. Family is the most important thing in his life. It's impossible for Klayver to do anything without consideration.
Clayver is a complex person. Even so, he was quite a responsible man. He always did something Klayver said did not contradict his principles.
Klayver has always been suspicious of James. As a man, he simply succumbed to all of Violin's will. Though, Klayver knew such a man had greater ambitions. An ambition he has taken from the world.
James is a master strategist. He acts in every emergency. No one ever knew that between James and Violin, James was the main character in every circumstance. Only, its value was indeed covered by Violin.
In the eyes of many, Violin was a shining star. The light that glows in the darkness. With a woman like that, of course James will not have a position that is strong enough.
"I know you must have a good reason!" Alice repeated her opinion. She gently rubbed her husband's arm, trying to channel the calm that she hoped would get to Klayver.
"I'm a good personal reader, Alice. From the time I was young, I knew my father had other ambitions that were very different from Mom's. It could be that that ambition will defeat his principles one day and make him sacrifice many precious people. He was like a time bomb that if left unchecked would still bring people in tragedy. Behind his hospitality, he is a crafty person."
"You know that?" alice was still surprised.
"I knew. I even saw the symptoms.
It's just that I've been quiet all this time because I don't think it's going to get to a severe stage. But I seem to be wrong."
"What symptoms do you mean, honey?" Alice asked another question.
Silent. Klayver looked at his wife with a fond look. He gently rubbed the top of Alice's head and closed his eyes for a moment.
Shadow after shadow formed in Klayver's brain. Want to not demand Klayver remember the past. The shadow of his past was like a broken film that he was reluctant to turn. But inevitably Klayver must reveal as well.
"So, ever since I was a teenager, I've been a person who likes to observe someone's character. Say, I'm a learner of someone else's character."
Klayver gave a pause. He looked at the ceiling of the room and felt fragile. The events he remembered made Klayver seem to be thrown back into the past.
"There's no family character that's as unique as Dad. Everyone in my family has a consistent character. For example, Mom who is always stubborn and dominant. Angelica is spoiled and ingenious, but more often in the direction of extroverts. I am an introvert and keen in paying attention to an object. My brother and sister are the same. The characters are always the same. Except Dad."
Klayver breathed heavily. He was getting caught up in the memories of the past. One by one the events overlap each other, forming a complete story.
"Dad is friendly, patient, loving, and receptive to his children. But on the other hand, I've seen him kill Angelica's beloved dogs vilely. He said that it was all for Angelica's mental development."
Pause for a moment.
"Bright now, I saw Dad smiling to see people being tortured to death on the side of the road. He said it was a free show. At that moment I began to realize. Mom who has a hard attitude will never be that shortsighted in doing the action. How can Dad
a friendly notaben can do all that? Isn't that weird?"
The pieces of the incident were like a puzzle. Formed from small things then into a whole unity. Klayver's judgments about James were more complete each time. So that he can draw a core conclusion.
"You know what's worse? Mom had a fever. He was prescribed by a doctor. During Mom's fever, all the company and important matters are handled by Dad. One afternoon I went to Mom's room to see her condition. Mom was sleeping. When I came in, I saw Dad was swapping prescription drugs that the doctor had given him. I don't know what medicine Dad used. But clearly at that time, Mom's fever became worse and she was forced to be hospitalized for almost a full month. She said Mom had a certain complication."
It was from this latter incident that Kalyver formed his opinion of James. Behind his father's good manners, there is a hidden dark side. Klayver was stalking James for almost five months. But after that there was no such thing as many years later. Klayver thinks maybe James's persona is just one of the things that color his real character. Klayver thinks everything is safe because things like that are no longer happening.
Who would have thought it turned out that James' character exploded later on and sacrificed those nearby. Klayver used to let alone the awkwardness for the awkwardness of his father. But not anymore. He can't let James go this time because he's afraid that if it happens, next time James will endanger the lives of others even more.
"Did Violin know you did it?" ask Alice later.
Klayver snuggles small, allowing.
"Is he mad at you?"
"No. He just felt played by fate."
"Then, I think your reasoning is pretty strong, Klayver!"
That was all Alice could say to her husband.
