The Rhyme of the Depositary

The Rhyme of the Depositary
066 - SEASON 2

Jasmine looked at Klayver with an incredulous look. Of all the things that happen in this world, imagining Klayver getting married is the least he can do.

An Evil Eyes. Marrying. Forming commitment. With women. Have a stepson.

These words if strung together can make Jasmine ejected herself from the chair she was sitting in.

Alright. Marriage is a human nature. Fair and deserved to happen. But Klayver is a figure that is too mysterious and far from the shadow of someone who is able to love. Hearing him get married is like hearing that tomorrow morning there's going to be a nuclear war.

Klayver, who used to finish off women after midnight romance, is now tying a sacred commitment to a woman. Either this is a gift to the woman, or a terrible calamity.

"Stop looking at me as if I were a sacred object, Jasmine. I'm allergic to your eyes glaring like that." Klayver stared dislikefully.

Jasmine blinked her eyes a few times and snorted impolitely. Klayver's married. Goody. What a joke.

"I was so shocked that I couldn't laugh. You married. What drama are you playing? Huh! It's hilarious! Very funny." Jasmine threw a used tissue onto the floor, making this room have an added point in terms of dirtiness.

Klayver was astonished, what kind of man could last five minutes with Jasmine and love each other? She's beautiful, but her behavior doesn't really know ethics.

"I wish you could find a suitable man so that you feel love and no longer make fun of me."

Jasmine laughed in amusement at Klayver's words. He raised his legs higher, made his inner thighs easily visible and did not stop laughing.

Imagining love makes Jasmine ticklish herself. Is there such a thing in this world?

"Love is just a fairy tale for toddlers. I think you're quite an adult, in fact your mind is as low as a child."

Who would have thought an assassin of Klayver's caliber could be stuck with silly things around love. Really funny.

"Whatever you say, Jasmine. In time, if you find a fragment of your soul and fall in love half-dead, it's my turn to laugh at you." Klayver tapped his finger on the jade table. He folded his legs under the table, trying to control his own emotions.

"alright. Please laugh at me because it will never happen forever. My life is pretty well established with business and business. If I have to get married someday, I will marry with money. The promise of loyalty is a luxury for living. Done." Jasmine let out a small laugh, proud of herself who could control life.

Poor Jasmine's business is transverse in prostitution and ecstasy. There is another dark business that no one ever knows. Only a few people are allowed to know. One of them is Kalyver. So, indirectly, they are bound to friendship without a word.

"Your life is yours. I don't care how dilapidated you are, like this room that you design is beautiful but littered with cheap things of your own behavior. For a long time, I pityed myself for being in a room with you too often."

Klayver shook his head. If he rethinks his steps, like it's not a good idea to give Jasmine the confidence to keep Alice close together. I don't know what influence that woman would bring to her gentle wife.

However, given the precarious circumstances he experienced, Klayver did not have much choice. The three great parties in the black world were eyeing him. He was afraid that while going to clean them up, one of the parties knew Klayver's relationship with Alice and made his wife a target.

Klayver would of course prefer the first option. It is better to attract Jasmine as Alice's companion and protector with her unusually dilapidated attitude, than to risk the danger of greeting Alice at any time.

Jasmine is the most reasonable choice. That woman besides having strength, also had wide connections. The secret is also safe. Currently, Jasmine was the most excellent solution.

"My life is full of heaven, how can you expect me to be a holy angel without depravity? It's only natural that my room is like this. Don't be so goddamn pretentious, Ice Boy."

Jasmine threw the cigarette butts in her hands into the trash can at the end of the room. The ashes of her skirt flew all the way before it finally fell right inside the small trash can.

Nimbly, the woman opened the drawer under the table and picked up a new cigarette along with an automatic lighter. Jasmine held out a cigarette, filed a wordless offer and was accepted by Klayver. At least, cigarette smoke is better than the cheap perfume in this room.

They both sipped cigarette smoke without a sound. Each of the two was busy in his own mind.

After ten more minutes without a sound, Jasmine threw away her remaining cigarette and stared at the serious kalyver.

"alright. I will help you by looking after your wife and stepson. But first, say the price first. Remember, give a fantastic price. I'm not interested in the abal-abal business."

Jasmine smiled slightly, feeling proud to be able to say this. Two years ago he hired Klayver and guessed what Klayver was doing. The man of the city gave a very expensive price.

Now, it was Jasmine's turn to be above the clouds. For the first time he felt he had control of managing the business with a person as cold as Klayver.

Klayver who knew Jasmine's intentions, only snorted in annoyance. Coming to Jasmine of course means financial loss. The woman's face turned disgusting every time she thought about the benefits she could gain from a moment like this.

"What are you asking for?" ask Klayver directly.

"Your mansion is in Italy, a package with the surrounding vineyards."

The mansion he owned and the vineyards dotted with acres around him was one of Klayver's favorite assets. Jasmine was too observant to look at Klayver's property list and directly led to owning the mansion.

"You're doing business with the right people, Klayver. The best service requires the best price as well." Jasmine's smile grew. He knew Klayver had no other choice at the moment. I don't want that guy to give up too.

Who would have thought that the loss two years ago could afford Jasmine the ransom now. In the past, for the sake of asking Klayver for help, Jasmine had to lose one of the rare jewels she had obtained from the dark auction. The jewelry is an expensive treasure that became the legacy of the British empire two hundred years ago.

"Don't count too much with me, Klayver. You must still have hundreds of other assets that are just as valuable. What's the harm in letting one go for me?"

"alright. I'll take care of the mansion's handover papers through the lawyer."

Klayver surrendered. Although reluctant, but what Jasmine said was true. He still had countless other assets. Giving up one will not make himself poor.

"Good Joob's. That's how we should do business, honey …." Jasmine's eyes sparkled brightly, like the rarest of expensive gems.

"Two days, you're gonna have to come with me to Manhattan and live in a house with my wife and stepson. I need to pick up the kid before this." Klayver tried to weigh.

He is not far from his mother's home. It would be best if he picked up Axel and rushed him home with Jasmine.

"alright. Approximately, how long do I have to take care of your beloved princess?" jasmine asked suddenly.

A business should be discussed in detail. If Klayver's time was long enough, perhaps Jasmine could renegotiate the payment. After all, money is the one talking.

"At most half a year."

"Oh, fuck you, Klayver. I need to get paid again. Your mansion is too cheap to pay me for half a year." Jasmine stood up suddenly, stomping her feet in disbelief

Fucking Klayver. He could die standing at home guarding another woman for six months and only be paid by the mansion.

"Are you a very realistic woman?" Klayver asked cynically.

"I'm a realistic woman. If I have to look after your wife long enough, how am I supposed to handle my business here?"

"You can manage it from far away."

"But it's not as effective as a direct plunge."

"alright. What else do you want?"

"Give me a blank check. Let me write myself a fair price for my services this time."

Klayver threw the checkbook out of the shirt pocket onto the table right in front of Jasmine. He expected something like this to happen. Jasmine was too matre to simply accept her mansion.

"good. You're still my favorite man."

Klayver did not respond and opted out of Jasmine's immoral room. He finally breathed a sigh of relief after being freed from the cheap fragrance that accompanied the woman. Jasmine is rich. Very rich. But her taste is not like that of a street woman.

After Klayver's departure, Jasmine turned her gaze across the room and let out a frustrated sigh.

Actually, it's not just Klayver who feels claustrophobic trapped in his dilapidated room.

The smell of cheap perfume wrapped in silk and nicotine sometimes makes Jasmine's own stomach nauseous. But life often goes by it should not. Sometimes, we need drama to cover up who we are.

Behind Jasmine's cheap appearance, there was the soul of a normal woman he was trying to hide.

The dark world has made many people cheat and be deceived. This appearance was one of the superficial deceptions Jasmine tried to commit to cover herself up.

With a tired look, Jasmine tried to laugh bitterly.

Klayver has found the harbor. That guy was lucky. Either Jasmine will be as lucky as Klayver or not. Life's path was too difficult that it made Jasmine turn into a person harder every time.

Until not felt, she has now become an immoral dilapidated woman.
