The Rhyme of the Depositary

The Rhyme of the Depositary
057 - SEASON 2

This morning, Alice looked at Axel's departure at the airport check-in door in shock. She still finds it hard to accept the fact her son chose to go on an early fall vacation to New York with Violin and James.

For a reason that Alice did not understand, they chose to use commercial aviation services rather than private aircraft.

Last night, after going through a lot of persuasion and seduction, Alice felt helpless. He allowed Axel half-heartedly to visit the Violin residence. Hoping that in the last seconds, the son abandoned his intentions and chose to remain by Alice's side. In fact, hope remains hope. Axel still left with a carefree face as if no matter his own mother objected.

Alice stood there long enough. Klayver even had to pat his shoulder to resuscitate his wife and bring her back home.

"Don't react like that, Alice. It was as if the world was going to end today. Axel only went to my parents' house for half a month. He will definitely come back with us. After all, Mom loved him enough and would definitely take good care of him. Didn't Helena come with them? You don't have to worry about that." Kalyver guides Alice back to their parked car not too far away.

Alice remained silent on the way home. He nodded occasionally and responded to a few questions. Arriving at home, the woman went straight to the study and checked out some important reports her subordinates had sent out these days. Lately Alice has rarely observed the graph of the company's profit development. He had to come back productive despite doing this from home. Normally, Alice would only go to the office if there were important matters or emergencies.

As Alice was sinking through financial accounts, Klayver entered the workspace in an armi suit. He smiled slightly and gave a warm kiss in the morning.

The clock still shows eight hours of Manhattan time. Alice looked at Klayver a little hesitantly and asked quietly. "Where are you going?" tanyanya.

"I'll take care of a few things. Oh by the way, I need to renovate the empty space near the warehouse. Please don't go in there just yet because there are so many things that need to be fixed!" pinta Klayver is serious.

A few days ago they talked about this. Klayver needs personal space for his 'secret' activities'. Private space is quite large and rarely people to pass by. Finally, Alice suggested that Klayver use an abandoned empty space on the side of the warehouse. The space was used for warehouses as well. It's just that because the first warehouse is sufficient, finally the second room becomes unmanageable.

Klayver accepted Alice's offer and was quite satisfied to see the large room. It only took a few repairs at some point for Klayver to perfect.

"alright. Be careful on the road, okay?" Alice gave a small smile with a ballpoint pen that she slipped on the side of her ear. Her current appearance was quite seductive in Klayver's eyes. The man approached his wife, shoved her slightly on the back of the chair and overpowered her with a deep kiss.

"You're really charming. Unfortunately, I have to leave at this time. Later tonight, Honey. We're gonna work hard to make babies."

Klayver passed away and left Alice with a dark look. Alice touched her still-vibrating lips and rubbed them gently. For some reason, the man was always able to fascinate him. He's like the world's most expensive heroin.

Alice again focused her attention on the array of numbers. He had to read several times to fully understand the report because his mind had floated long after Klayver's kiss.

Alice tapped on the end of the ballpoint pen and grumbled softly. Cussing Klayver who too often shifted his main focus.

The report Alice read turned out to show considerable progress. This month the three property companies that Alice owns pocketed profits almost double from last month.

The elite housing market that Alice gas managed to get amazing results. With the new policy system that she now applies to companies, Alice believes her company will run stably in the international arena.

Alice is still struggling with the latest financial statements and researching capital changes when suddenly her phone rings aloud. Alce frowned, guessing who the figure that contacted her was. Could it be from Violin? Did Axel make trouble?

The frown on Alice's forehead deepened as she looked at the foreign number that appeared on the main screen. Alice hesitated for a moment before finally deciding to take the call. Hopefully it's not a scary call for terror.

"Hello?" tanyanya.

"Hi, Alice. It's me, Daniel."

Alice cried out in surprise at a voice she had not heard for a long time. How many months have they been cut off from communication? Alice thought Daniel was now living in a world in the middle of nowhere that had no communication channels.

"Where have you been, Daniel? How long you've been out of circulation. Lucky you remember the last contact I used. Otherwise, you'll never be able to call me again." Alice was serious. He had previously thought about changing his personal contacts. But he broke it for a few reasons.

"I avoided Klayver by taking a vacation to a tropical country in Indonesia. Actually in Bali. I'm calling you on a secure line. Is Klayver close to you now? Is our conversation going to provoke danger?" daniel asked, not calm down. All the things Klayver dealt with made him paranoid .

"It's okay. You're safe now. I mean not just now. But forever." Alice confused herself explaining the situation to Daniel.

Daniel who did not understand Alice's direction of speech, could only fall silent without a sound. He tried to process the information.

"I mean, I persuaded Klayver to let you go and no longer hunt you down. So, now you're safe, Daniel. Go home to Manhattan. You'll be fine, I promise!" Alice tried to persuade her friend.

He could imagine for sure the last months Daniel spent with a petty fear. Who wouldn't be paranoid if chased by a Klayver-class killer.

"Can't, Alice. I know how the evil eyes look. He will never forgive the person who hunts him or the person who tries to pry his identity. I'll only kill myself if I get back to Manhattan."

Daniel still did not believe Alice's words. There was a tremble of fear from his tone. Hearing all this made Alice feel sympathy. Daniel, who was usually tough, is now like a fugitive who lost his honor.

"Trust me, Daniel. I swear you'll be fine. Me and Klayver, mmmh .. say .. have been closer than ever. I can vouch this time for my life that you'll be safe, Daniel. Trust me!"

To ensure Daniel's safety, Alice promised Klayver the real husband and wife relationship. Only, their relationship had now progressed in a better direction. No longer as platonic as it was. With her current condition, Alice has confidence their marriage will go well.

Klayver has changed a lot. His smile was more sincere than before. What Alice wanted, even the little things were often filled with her secretly. How could Alice not be happy with this good change?

"You're really sure I wouldn't be anything if I went back to Manhattan?"Daniel asked again reassuringly.

More than anything else, Daniel knew he was dealing with the wrong person. It's hard to fix everything. Unfortunately, of all things, the wrong person was the husband of his own friend. The friend he still loves to this day. Everything is getting more complicated for him.

"Trust me, Daniel. Come back! I'll buy you lunch to celebrate your return. I promise!" Alice said enthusiastically. Imagining his friend coming back was something he dreamed of. Their communication has been cut off for a long time. It's time for their friendship to re-establish well.

"Alright, Alice. I'll pack up. Maybe in two or three days I'll be in Manhattan. Thanks for everything!" Daniel is sincere. He smiled slightly, feeling happy at least Alice still had care for him.

Love, if it's impossible to achieve. As long as he could care for each other, that was enough for him. Daniel will not be grandiose in fantasy anymore. The world is where reality happens. Dreams always have the smallest portion to survive in the real world.

Alice had been drowning in her sleep for quite a while when suddenly a voice entered her subconscious. A happy birthday song sung by someone. The song became clearer each time and eventually formed a complete shadow of the voice that belonged to her husband.

Slowly, Alice's eyelids trembled several times and finally opened wide. He rattled around, finding Klayver standing just off him with a birthday cake studded with chocolate and a 31-figure candle on it. The cream in the cake is very tempting. The beautiful pieces with intricate pattern decoration look amazingly charming.

Happy birthday day to you

Happy birthday day to you

Happy birthday day Happy birthday day

Happy Birth Day My Wife

Klayver sings birthday songs with her distinctive inner voice. Alice blinked and closed her mouth in shock.

Is it his birthday today?

Wait, wait ….

Ohright. April 30th. How could Alice herself forget the day of her birth. Maybe lately he was too busy, burdened with many other affairs, so his mind was never focused on his own birthday.

Klayver knelt by Alice's side, brought the tart closer and thrust Alice to blow the candle.

Alice's hands trembled violently. He advanced his body and blew the flame on the candle above

cake. Alice's eyes began to tear. Klayver's concern was completely unexpected. How does Alice thank you?

"Make a wish, Sweet Heart!" pinta Klayver is gentle, like a prince from a fairy tale.

The two of them looked at each other for quite a while before Alice finally closed her eyes and begged for something in silence. A few moments later he reopened it and smiled brightly.

"What do you expect?" ask Klayver curiously.

"Isn't that a secret?" Alice tried to evade.

"It's okay if you leak it to me!" Clayver said seriously. Curiosity possessed him strongly. What is his wife's desire? If revealed, can he help her to materialize?

Alice was silent for a moment, then conveyed something. His voice was clear and hopeful.

"I want our marriage to go on forever. I no longer want a stupid deal like we promised at the start of the meeting. I want a real relationship, Klayer. Real and strong relationships. I don't want a divorce either!"

Alice looked at her husband with teary eyes. His golden Netra increasingly stood out with a special radiance.

Klayver looked at the woman he had been married to for three months. His face line is perfect. Her high jaw is like an arsictocratic woman. His bone shape was perfect, and his red hair was waving as if it was teasing him.

His age in the early thirties instead of shrinking his beauty, but instead accentuate the mature side of maturity. Makes Klayver feel like she's a peerless treasure.

Klayver put birthday bread on the floor. He looked at his wife with an intense gaze, and down his face with the tip of his fingers. The touch is soft, resembling a feather. But the effect brought a powerful swish to Violin.

Everything Klayver has is a perfection full of wonder. The touch he brought was able to catapult and fly Alice far up. His gaze was able to lock Alice in with all the focus he had never gotten from anyone before.

Many times they were together in beautiful nights, but Alice's reaction never changed since the first meeting. The heartbeat was still surging strongly, pounding his chest cavity with great jolts.

"I'll try to give you what you expect. This marriage we're gonna make as perfect as we can." Klayver stood up, pulling Alice's arm to go with her. Klayver's eyes this time were full of emotions. Her eye light implied many things that even Alice herself was hesitant to say. Love it?

"I have a small gift for you" Klayver said with his trademark smile. She led Alice out of the room in her sleeping pajamas.

"Gift?" Alice parroted.

Even with her own birthday Alice forgot. How could Kalyver remember even preparing the gift? This man was too complex that Alice could only second guess.

They walked down a small hallway, then down through the main stairs. Arriving at the bottom floor, Klayver walked in with Alice's hands toward the back room near the warehouse.

This, isn't the room she promised Alice to give Klayver? The room he said the man would renovate according to his needs.

As Alice was overwhelmed by confusion, Klayver hugged Alice's waist from behind, rubbed her affectionately, and opened the door connecting the unused empty room.

Alice was wide. There are two sets of garden chairs usually located in the backyard. The chair is in a special design with the addition of an imitation flower coil on each backrest. In the center, there is a mini table with two candles lit in the dimness of the light. The lights in the room are set to have a very low intensity, so some objects only look faint and produce spectacular silhouettes.

There is a main meal as a dinner. The two crystal glasses looked majestic with golden liquid that Alice guessed was wine. On the floor of this room, scattered thousands of red rose petals that still feel soft and fresh.

Alice stood trembling. He was shocked and did not expect Klayver to do this. When did he do it? Hasn't Alice been at home all this time, why couldn't she have noticed?

Alice looked at Klayver, giving up on the situation and shedding happy tears.

"I love you, Alice. It gets bigger every second until I'm amazed how this heart holds it. A love I recognized after finding you. A love with which I made you a place of worship. A love that will gnaw me to the last breath and only anchor you for the rest of life countless times."
