The Rhyme of the Depositary

The Rhyme of the Depositary
088 - SEASON 2

Today is Daniel's birthday. He never celebrated anything sensitive like birthdays or anything like that. But this time it was different. Rachel encourages Daniel to celebrate small in the backyard by grilling meat, or something like that.

Daniel is a smart man who makes food. He prepared a lot of ingredients for the night. Alice and Rachel promise to go to Daniel's house after evening.

Jasmine who was invited away by Alice felt lazy actually. But she was forced to follow Alice's will wherever she went. He remembered his own function. Kalyver had entrusted Alice to him. Danger could greet the woman at any time. Jasmine did not want to make the mistake of trivializing the small things.

Desperately, Jasmine took out a violet dress intersecting the body with a V-shaped cleavage. The back of this dress was quite open, revealing Jasmine's smooth skin. She sprayed her favorite perfume and took out a small tiara necklace to complete her appearance. A tiny earring she wears on her ear. Makes Jasmine look glamorous. While his hair is short he neatly arranged backwards with a crystal clasp on the left side.

Alice chose to wear a long white dress. The dress sweeps the floor and expands as it descends. The soft silk material makes Alice look like a pretty fairy. The dress was sleeveless, making the curves of her hands more visible.

Alice's hair was carried small by letting some of her strands dangle to the sides of her face, framing her slightly tapered face. A pair of earrings that were almost the same as Jasmine adorned his ears. The appearance of these two people was perfect. One is as graceful as an angel, one as mischievous as a seductress.

Alice and Jasmine leave together. Rachel left alone from her home. They slide into the streets after the day starts to fall. Alice had enjoyed a beautiful twilight on the way. He pondered deeply, fused with the beauty of nature.

"Alice, have you lived in Manhattan for a long time?" jasmine asked suddenly.

"My whole life I've been here. My parents are from this town. In the past, they also run a property business like me, only on a smaller scale." Alice remembers both her parents.

They died while Alice was still in college. They were very suddenly killed by an accident. Alice was struck down by this fact. She was an only child left alone with no one else and no relatives at all.

His life is at its lowest. But Rachel faithfully accompanies Alice and acts like a brother. They were like two people born from the same womb. Living many things together, even now remain together.

Therefore, Alice always considered Rachel to be an important figure in her life. In every crisis Alice has, Rachel is always there, sustaining her, and being faithful with her.

There are rarely friends like that, right? Alice was very lucky to find Rachel. He swore he would keep their friendship until the end.

"What about you?" ask Alice to Jasmine.

"My life story is nothing interesting. My mother is a night woman who often changes lovers and husbands like clothes. Maybe, I think every season she always brings in a new guy she introduces me to as a new daddy."

Jasmine grimaces. Remembering old painful memories.

In the past, when he was a child where expecting caring from people around him, his mother presented him with a dilapidated house on the edge of the village with peeling paint every time and the immoral scenery of his mother who almost every night brought foreign men.

When Jasmine was six years old, there was a memory where she was always told to go into the room every time her mother came home at night. After that, all that was heard was the sound of his mother desahan with a man who knew who.

The longer, Jasmine understood the more the pattern her mother was doing. He would hide automatically every time he heard his mother's footsteps. To her, Jasmine was just an unused, worn-out doll that was rarely exhibited to the outside world.

As the other children received attention from both parents, little Jasmine had to be quite content to spend yesterday's stale bread with tap water. Every time her mother brought home something, little Jasmine would settle down by her mother's side and pick up a small piece of food. He had to endure the stench of his mother's alcohol and the stench of sweat - an adult activity he should not have known.

Things like that last a long time. It was only natural that Jasmine was acquainted with intercourse when she was fourteen years old.

One time his mother did not come home for half a month. Leaving Jasmine in the dilapidated house alone without food.

Finally, following in her own mother's footsteps, Jasmine chose to sell her morals and exchange them for a mouthful of cheap gamdum bread just for the sake of supporting her stomach.

If anyone did not believe in prostituting himself for a mouthful of bread, then Jasmine would point out the fact that it truly existed and open the eyes of the person wide.

For some people, the world is pretty cruel. Those forced to starve under the bridge, in the corners of New York City which he said was a city of pride, and many other similar stories.

After Jasmine sold herself at a fairly young age, she was determined not to be like her mother.

His mother sold herself for a long time. But he can't produce anything. Even to provide stability for his son he was not able to. Therefore, Jasmine thought that if she had already sold herself, she would have sold in prestigious ways, repaid herself quite perfectly, and put up a huge rate for herself.

Why sell yourself if the only food Jasmine gets today and tomorrow she has to be dizzy thinking about stomach affairs again. Jasmine wouldn't be like that. He doesn't want to live like his mother.

Because of that determination, Jasmine managed to enter a special club and become a pretty attractive permanent woman. That's where the money starts flowing. At the age of eighteen, he was able to buy a house.

Jasmine had not had time to find her mother back and invite her to live together, well, even though the woman too often did not care, but anyway she was still her mother. So Jasmine wanted to bring her mother to a more established life.

Unfortunately, his mother died of an alcohol overdose. No wonder actually. He is a true drinker whose daily hard-working money runs out to buy alcohol, instead of staple food.

"You must have been heavy in living the days of the past." Alice said sympathy. He gently stroked Jasmine's arm and gave her sincere attention.

"Very heavy. But basically every human being has his own way. So that I stop feeling jealous when I see other people."

The envy does exist. Seeing the many children that were getting the attention of the parents, while Jasmine was only scavenging for the pity of others.

Seeing many other girls getting facilities and affection from the family, while he was left out and useless.

But, as time went on, Jasmine managed to put herself in. To be able to move forward, Jasmine had to be honest with herself and form a reasonable plan.

She could little by little control her sense of rhythm. Seeing things in another way and pursuing what he wants with all his energy.

"You must have gone through so many things that you got to this point." Alice looked inside.

Jasmine must be a great person. He dared to admit his own infamy, and still put himself at his capacity.

"Yes. One of them is passing through hundreds of assorted striped-nose men." Jasmine laughed, revealing her sense of humor. The light in his eyes had returned again, indicating he no longer imagined the story of the past.

"You're this. Truly an adventurous soul."

"You want to know how many men are with me? You want to know what kind of guy his taste is? You want to know—"

"Enough, Jasmine. Stop teasing me. The road ahead turns right. The house number at the end of the house is Daniel's house." Alice stopped Jasmine's chattering before the woman discussed the no-no.

"You're totally innocent, Alice." Jasmine was disappointed. "What's so good about talking to you?"

Daniel's backyard turns into a small party. The three of them were busy spending the roast beef with Daniel as the main chef.

Rachel, who knew a little about how to cook helped Daniel in the beginning. He was then busy with Alice and Jasmine, spending every meal available.

Daniel offers wine and is invaded by Rachel and Jasmine. Alice chose to take a safer drink. He made orange juice for himself.

Rachel who knew that just laughed. Pregnant women need to be careful in doing many things. For the sake of the fetus, everything should be done well.

"I really can't afford to eat anymore. I'll move to the inner room and wait for you there. My back has been hot here for a long time. Maybe it'll take a moment to break down." Alice enters followed by Rachel.

"I'm a little tired too. Jasmine, you're the one who helped Daniel. Pity him if no one helps him." Rachel waved her hands full of satisfaction.

Rachel and Alice glanced at each other meaningfully. They give the code implicitly. Alice and Rachel both know that between Daniel and Jasmine there are unusual seeds.

"I told you, they're both interested in each other. It's just that they're too stubborn." Alice sat in a soft chair in the living room. He let out a sigh of relief as he leaned back his tired back. Since this pregnancy, Alice felt her back easily feel hot. Probably a fetus.

"I knew. I can see for myself, Alice." Rachel wins. He smiled slightly, sitting next to Alice.

"Need a massage?" bargain Rachel understanding.

"I won't refuse. My back is really hot."

After being satisfied enough, Alice turned back her body and poured herself over the sofa in the corner.

"You know what, Rachel? Two days ago I was informed by William, Daniel and Jasmine were caught hot again through CCTV in the living room. There is CCTV there. William had seen the live performance before Daniel finally deleted the recording there himself. I'm quite happy to hear it, even though I'm not lucky to see it in person."

Rachel was wide. She laughed at Alice's story. I really didn't think Daniel would act that fast.

"But they're both not gonna admit it, you know? On the tape, William said, Jasmine took money from Daniel. That woman is totally unpredictable. His interest was pure. Why should I take money?" Alice shook her head, feeling clueless as to how Jasmine thought.

Rachel blinked a few times. He walked down the edge of the chair and tried to think something.

"Just let their relationship develop. We don't know the direction. We don't know Jasmine either. Jasmine could have only had a false interest due to money. It's not that I judged Jasmine badly, but we don't know the truth. All we can do is give them a chance. If their relationship will lead to something important, let them fight for it themselves." Rachel said wisely.

He realized, nothing can be forced in this world. Including love and feelings. All Rachel and Alice could do throughout the matter was to give Daniel and Jasmine a chance after chance. If they are not sensitive and choose not to fight, that is their right. In love, there is no form of coercion.

Alice remained silent for a long time. He wanted to reveal something, wanted Jasmine to get back to know love and try to facilitate it. But, back again as Rachel had said. There is no compulsion in taste.

Everything in the world is arranged in such a way. Not everything ends badly, not everything ends well. All sorts of stories are formed. This is where we learn that we are not God. We cannot choose the end for ourselves. Especially someone else.

"You're right, Rachel. We can't force it any further. I hope they have their own end." Alice smiled slightly. He feels dwarfed and insignificant. Indeed, humans are only given a little power to survive in this world.

Alice closed for a moment, resting herself. Rachel by his side did the same. Outside, in the backyard, a pair of people are left together in hopes of developing something.

In her dream, Alice saw a beautiful landscape that was a vast estate. He stood in the small cottage of a village, bordering the forest. Alice had no idea where the village was located. Maybe on the outskirts of town. This all feels foreign.

The cottage he lived in was made of wood. He gently stroked the finely twisted main door. This is not maple wood. It's like a special wood from Asia. Maybe teak. Yep. That must be teak. Alice had heard of it.

The aroma of wood and paint emanates characteristically. This scent always made Alice feel at ease. Fused together the smell of summer sun that can be absorbed into the house.

Alice turned around the cottage with overflowing happiness. The cottage feels warm with all the finely twisted wooden furniture. There is a set of chairs from eek wood arranged minimalist in the middle of the room. On each of its walls there are beautiful decorations of handicrafts from the village. There are tulips of colorful ribbons, there are animal-patterned embroidery fabrics, and many more similar objects.

Every time Alice stepped foot into every corner, the floor she passed felt soft on her bare feet.

Slowly, Alice headed for the front yard. There are familiar voices there. It was late in the afternoon, and her husband was supposed to be back.

Alice sees twelve-year-old Axel walking alongside Klayver. His son carried a bundle of firewood which he placed on his shoulder. While Klayver walks by shouldering Stefani, their youngest daughter.

Unknowingly, Alice's lips curved wide. There was a strong light in his eyes seeing the family he loved back home. The warm feeling in his heart spilled.

"You brought enough firewood this time." Alice walked over and picked up the little cackling Stefani.

Their six-year-old daughter was too happy every time she was invited to enter the forest. Either to find firewood, or hunt animals. His adventurous soul grew to perfection. Formed automatically because life with a challenging father. For them, life has always been an exciting adventure to explore.

In his arms, Stefani rebelled violently and descended barefoot on the green grass. He laughed loudly, enjoying the grass caress on his little legs.

"You don't wear footwear anymore?" Alice's forehead creased deeply, feeling dislike for letting her daughter be undisciplined.

Forests are all places where danger can threaten suddenly. Many animals were scattered and could injure his daughter at any time. Footwear is the basic protection for everyone who steps into the place.

"No. Dad carried me all the way. He carried me on his shoulder. I can see a lot of things. You know, Mom, I just saw a brightly colored bird and also saw a big bird that Dad called an eagle. The eagle eats a small, brightly colored bird. I saw it myself. You'll have to witness it in person someday." Stefani's voice was fiery, showing the enthusiastic attitude he had.

Alice glanced at Klayver and could only make a small smile. Goody. Her daughter is now growing more like a man than a woman. Quite a good education from Klayver.

"Darling, girls aren't very good at wandering the woods every day. Tomorrow, you should try to be inside the house to help Mom clean the cottage. Let Axel work to help Dad find firewood and hunt rabbits. How's it?" Alice offered her daughter. He put on a persuasive face, for his daughter to be willing.

Stefani pursed her lips. His eyes were not like. The forest is his love. Anyway, for whatever reason, Stefani doesn't want to get out of the woods. Just staying in the cottage and mother's daughter-in-law is not what she wants. How could he want to be imprisoned in a small cottage and not see the beauty of nature directly.

"I don't want to!" refuse to shake his head.

"You're a daughter, Stefani."

"I don't care. I don't want to be in the cabin all day. I like the forest. Mom, come on, let me into the woods, yeah! I promise I'll wear footwear tomorrow. I promise and I won't deny."

Dusk had begun to move in the eastern horizon, scratching a faint orange-colored light. Alice looked at Klayver and smiled at each other

Stefani is a pretty stubborn girl. He came down that character from his father directly. It is not easy to deal with it if the child has strong will. Alice and Klayver could only give in. Otherwise, Stefani will be even stronger against them.

"alright. But if you don't wear footwear anymore, you'll be Mom's law. You hear that, honey?" Alice was firm. He doesn't want his kindness to his daughter to be misunderstood.

"Good." Stefani raised his two fingers up, forming a special promise of children. Her sweet smile adds to the warm atmosphere.

Stefani is a child with hair like Alice, dark red. His eyes were like gold that had the sharpness of a hunter. His face is oval, with small twinkles if he is happy. His body is higher than that of a child in general. His dexterity also grew surprisingly. Sometimes, the boy could run up to Axel. Something Alice never expected would happen

Stefani also has a strange ability. His senses and instincts worked amazingly. Alice sometimes doubted the child was six years old. For Chrissakes. A child of that age would not have the ability to be as unique as him. I don't know what lucky star Stefani got.

Clayver called her a special princess. The man never finished spoiling his daughter. They are two people who adore each other.

"alright. It's starting the afternoon. Let's go in the cabin." Klayver took over the firewood that Axel brought and took it to the back of the hut for him to stack into one with the other woods.

"You did a good job today, Axel. Mom's proud of you." Alice walks with Axel into the cottage. She was holding her daughter who was starting to feel heavy.

"Darling, what did you eat? Why did you gain two kilos in just one day?" Alice seduced her daughter and lowered her down on the warm wood floor inside the cottage.

The twilight has gone, the night has come. It enveloped the cottage and garden around him in the darkness. They were accompanied only by a small lantern in the middle of the room. Without any electronic devices. Their togetherness is more than enough to define happiness.

The dream just ended. Alice awoke suddenly, looking around her in a daze and realizing that she was still at Daniel's house to celebrate his friend's birthday.

Alice's smile was wide. Both of his hands gently stroked his still flat stomach. The dream was too real for Alice. Could she be pregnant with a daughter? The daughter he will name Stefani.

Axels. Oh God. In the dream Axel grew up perfectly as a teenage boy. Teenagers who will surely be able to melt the hearts of many girls out there.

Alice's smile grew wider, making Rachel who saw him stare confusedly.

"Say if you're going crazy. I don't like to see my friends smile for no reason" Rachel said guiltlessly.

Alice turned to her face and still smiled a little.

"Rachel, I just dreamed of something. Me, Klayver, Axel, and my daughter lived happily in a small cabin on the edge of the forest without electricity and without electronics. I happy. We're happy."

Rachel looked at Alice with a surprised look. He coughed a few times and let out a loud laugh.

"You won't be happy, Alice. Living like that will only torture you and kill you."

Rachel laughed again, not understanding that such a dream existed at all.
