Chapters 77. Go To The Banquet

Ten days of course, in dimensions.

Sam took out a fire bronze sheet, he took out a claw stick he made for temporary use and wore it for the right hand.

Sam placed the spring and weld one of the ends on the inside side of the large cup. He took the smaller cup and placed it inside the larger cup, the cavities of the two cups would be facing each other and the bulge would enter the L-shaped gap. He applied the power so that the spring would press down then he placed his finger on the outer side of the smaller cup. That place was exactly where the end of spring would be inside.

He started heating the place, the metal became soft and started to melt. Just before the metal dripped and formed a hole, he stopped, but the tip of the spring had already formed a bond.

After the joint cooled, he made a hole in the curved surface area and started pouring poisonous drinks into it, until it was full.

After Sam put his palm on top of the bigger cup and turned it around. The protrusions on the smaller cup that had just entered the gap vertically, moved horizontally. He took out a piece of metal wire from a wire placed, in a small hole, which he made in a small bulge.

Sam stood up and put the bounding formation some distance away, then he took out a small piece of wire that served as a pin, to hold the cup from turning backwards in place and immediately threw it into the formation, while he ran away from her. .

Within seconds, the sound of a small explosion came and smoke full of poison filled the restriction formation, Sam controlled the second floor of the tower and removed the smoke before working.

He repeated the same things he did and created some of them. But he didn't use it as before and just put it aside.

These were things he wanted to use against the Black Pool. Actually what he used was a simple hand grenade that depended on a spring.

When he turned the cup, the spring would also spin and would try to push it back to where it came from. But a small pin made of wire, holding it there. When the pin is removed, the cup will move back to its original position, where there will be a hole that appears on the curved surface, through which, it fills it with liquor.

After a few seconds, the liquor will burn and toxic smoke will come out of the hole, with an explosion.

How does liquor burn? That was the reason the runes were made.

Sam placed a written formation that was responsible for gathering spiritual energy around him, he made an inscription by combining two cups. The first half of the inscription is in the larger cup and the other half is in the smaller cup. When the two halves are aligned, the formation will be active.

The formation will get a parallel shape, once the pin is removed. As for the reason, the formation was inactive while pouring liquor, due to Sam's swift action and not giving enough time for the formation to be fully active.

Then for the next step. Once the formation was activated, it would direct the spiritual energy to the consumable inscription placed within the cup cavity. It was a flaming inscription.

The spiritual energy gathered through the formation would activate a flaming inscription that burned the liquor.

Sam didn't actually want to make this toxic liquor. But liquor is the only way to burn it faster and spread toxins easily.

If not for no time, he would not have used this method to deal with his enemy. And time is not there because Sam needs to take care of the panther's body. Beetles need food to adapt to changes in their bodies and there are few methods to provide food. Otherwise, he would have taken his sweet time to plan after comprehending the power of his new wind element.

He kept making sets at incredible speed. After he finally finished, he only had one afternoon to go to the banquet. The women in the mansion had already made their preparations.

Sam came out of the tower, to take a bath before taking a nap.

When he woke up, everyone in the mansion was ready. He immediately took a shower and put on his usual clothes. His black vest, his black pants and his fur coat.

When he got down, he saw that everyone was already sitting and waiting, even the Headmaster and the City lord along with some of the candidates staying at the inn came here. They were all waiting for Sam to come. When they saw that he was sleeping, no one dared to disturb him. Apparently, Kelly's kidnapping incident made them have a fear of him.

Philip and Jack did not wake her, because after all, there were rarely people sleeping. Most people would cultivate. Because, Sam was sleeping, they thought that he might be too tired and just let it go.

Sam walked out after greeting the Headmaster. The train is ready. The two blazing earth bulls were tied to the carriage.

Sam looked back and called Kelly. The latter was a little nervous as he walked towards her. Under everyone's astounding gaze, Sam opened the carriage door and let it ride first.

Everyone stared at the handsome young man with an expression of disbelief. Just a few days ago they were almost certain that this person was the king of hell in disguise. The impact of the abduction cannot be forgotten for life.

Sam doesn't care what anyone else thinks. He only did this because, he was the one who held onto his words. She promised Kelly that she would be her date tonight and she would be treated as one of them. 

After Kelly boarded the train, she followed the others. Soon, the train started moving and they arrived at the Count's house within a few minutes. After all a level 2 savage beast was not in vain and the traffic was completely cleared when the people on the streets saw two ferocious beasts running.

As they got off the carriage, they were all amazed at the grandeur of the Count mansion. This is by far the biggest house they have ever seen and this place impressed them. Even Sam felt that his expertise in architecture was excellent.

The group entered the banquet hall. Sam walks behind the group with Kelly hooking her arm with him. When they arrived at the door of the banquet hall, they gathered all the attention from the people.

The main reason was because they were the last to arrive. Although, the banquet had yet to begin, they had all come so early to curry favor with the Count if possible and to gain some connections. But Sam's entourage who arrived on time made them shocked. After all, who would miss the chance to leave an impression on the Count.

The people from the noble families and other cities had already arrived. After entering the banquet, Sam takes Kelly somewhere with few people, he is not interested in socializing now, but his efforts are in vain.

Soon, many people began to come and greet him. Some even came just for Kelly. He simply returned their greetings out of courtesy.

Actually, there was a table set up for them. But no one is interested in just sitting and waiting. Everyone was talking to each other with all sorts of intentions marked by their smiles.

Sam first went to a remote corner to avoid this. But since he couldn't avoid this, he might as well go to the table and he did.

Sam heard something that interested him.

"Look, three people from the Big Four are here. I wonder if the last one will come today."

Sam looked at Hawk and the others walking towards the table. When they arrived, Hawk greeted him first.

"Hi Sam's. Thank you for coming." He said with a bright smile.

"Don't mention it. Thank you for inviting me." Sam also said with a smile. Then he looked at Ray and Drew.

"Hello, nice to meet you."

"It's nice to meet you too."

They also exchanged greetings and talked lightly. Even Kelly, Jack, and Philip were pulled in. Only the weird trio did not speak.

Sam suddenly thought of the Big Four thing and asked.

"What big four are they talking about?" Sam asked with a curious expression. But Kelly gave him the answer.

"Haha, it's actually something made up when we were kids. Back then, we agreed that the top four people in our generation's abilities would be named the Big Four and the other younger generations should respect the four and treat them as leaders.

Although we started this as a joke, it really spread between the city and the Big Four were named since we woke up. Hawk has always been the first in the rankings and he still retains it."

Everyone couldn't help laughing because of it. Some children who play around are actually becoming this popular in the City and they even follow his advice.

"Who's the fourth?" Sam asked

"Well, you probably saw it today. So, don't be in a hurry." Hawk replied.
