Chapters 610. The Great Black Shark
Sam and Chatur, Sandra, and Sagar are all at sea. Behind them, a group of mermaids came along with a Black Shark-type beast. This was a newborn-level beast, but it still required the Pre-transcendent stage Merman to hold it in chains that were completely wrapped around his body.
They dragged him by force and Sagar waved his hand and left chain Merman. The shark flashed into a black line as it moved to get away, but before it could escape, with another wave of Sagar's hand, the, the surrounding water starts moving and creates a certain region that keeps the Sharks in it.
It glared at the four of them who were outside that barrier zone. Although Sagar is a Pre-transcendent stage cultivator, sharks show no fear. There were teeth protruding from his mouth. The shark's fangs are too large to actually fit and almost look like a grin that gives it a creepy look.
Sam was amused when he saw the beast. He had not expected to see this ferocious beast in a place like this.
The Great Black Shark.
Yes, its own name is the Great Black Shark and one must agree that the name is appropriate for it.
It is one of the most dangerous predators of the sea. They were fast, strong, ruthless and their bite force was as strong as an Early stage Pre-transcendent beast when it was at a Late stage Nascent level Beast.
If a real pre-transcendent stage beast could not handle it and died in his hands, there was still no need to be surprised.
The beast was fearless and was one of the few who had some resistance to innate instincts which caused the beast to fear higher beings. Of course, if the difference was too great, then it would not escape that instinct.
The best part was that the size of the beast was not much different from that of an ordinary shark. The most it could grow was the size of a Whale-Shark. The biggest shark on earth is normal. About eighteen to twenty meters. Even if it became a god and a god, it would still be that big.
That size along with the speed and power it could carry, it was a threat to other ferocious beasts in the sea at the same level.
"Are you sure you're having trouble with these sharks?"
"Yes why?" Sagar asked in return.
"I can understand why you were so adamant about getting a weapon like this. But are you sure you want to catch him? They're strong and efficient, but they're not pet material."

Sam barely dodged as he looked at the Black Shark that changed direction and left.
His body changed and he activated Partial Fusion with the water element.
He moved in the sea as if he was a part of it. He was just trying to understand the sea battle and this shark was the best opponent he could ask for.
He didn't even attack, all he focused on was defense.
He pulled out a large metal object.
It was a Harpoon Weapon. But it's not like usual.
Most of them look like the usual ones, but the handle of the gun is made differently. There were several square inches of rectangular slits inside. He took out a small metal cylinder from his storage and placed it in a gap. It fits perfectly.
Harpoon is a little different. The tip of the spear was slightly different, it seemed to be made by combining several smaller pieces of metal.
It's like a Lego Spear.
As he moved almost as fast as the shark, he avoided its bite once more and aimed at its back, and pulled the trigger.
The cylinder in the handle of the gun almost shook and a burst of air shot out from the hole behind the handle. But the Spear that was fired had an air jet at the end of its tail and the wires that were supposed to be at the end of the tail were also there but in a different way. It was a metal cable and wrapped and welded around a hollow spear shaft and circled nearly half of it.
The spear was too fast to be seen by an ordinary Nascent. The shark sensed the threat and wanted to move but it was too late and the spear stuck in its back.
The shark was surrounded by its own blood which quickly spread into the surrounding water.
The audience felt excited when the Shark was arrested. But Sandra and Sagar only have joy when they see the shark is still moving, but Sam shows no change in expression.
When the Shark wanted to forcefully pull his Spear, Sam just stood there with the gun in his hand and when everyone thought he would be pulled, he did not flinch, not because he was too heavy or too strong.
After some struggle, the Shark did not move in the slightest. It became very silent like a rock. They did not know what was happening, because all they said was that there was extra blood coming out of it.
Sam called Chatur, who swam towards him nervously.
"Have a gun like this and don't move. Stay there."
Sam moves to give him a gun and swims to the Shark. It was roaring in the water. Although it was not a normal roar that would come from another beast, anyone could see its anger.
Sam was just standing there one foot away from her. He looked straight into the beast's eyes. He even put his hand on it. But the shark didn't move a bit. Sandra and Sagar were shocked.
They had not expected the crazy and ferocious wild beast a second ago to try to kill him, not even moving when he put his hand down.
"I'm sorry."
Sam said in a low voice and moved. He put his hand on the spear. On the neck of the spear, there was a small metal bulge and a guide path where it sat. He pulled the bulge back and the Shark let out a low roar.
After pulling the metal bulge back, the spear seemed to have loosened and came out with just a casual pull.
When the shark was about to move and attack Sam, he held it with both hands tightly and began to heal it. At the same time, he threw away the two remaining pearls in his mouth to add to the remaining energy, but there were marks left from the shark's body. There's a big scar.
He doesn't know what to say. He never feels guilty about killing an animal for his flesh, or for any other purpose for that matter, he does not want to torture the creature for his own purposes when the creature does nothing wrong to him. He did not like that feeling and always felt somewhat disgusting.
Even if it was a human, it would not change. He might even feel better if he directly killed them with a single blow, this torture was something he was fighting against.
After healing and the pearls are absorbed, the Sharks return to full health except for loss of blood and energy. The beast looked at Sam ferociously and left. It did not attack him, but was still angry. After all, he did attack her.
Sam looked towards the beast that was leaving and when he saw the Pre-transcendent Mermaid Stage who had brought him here about to chase after him, he blocked his path and said.
"If you chase after him, the next spear will be on your back. He looked at Sandra and said. If you want to make a deal with me, then I want to include the beast's life in the contract. He lives us a life of partnership. If we can agree to it, then we can discuss it further.
