Chapters 12. New Ability

Sam entered his bedroom and sat cross-legged on the floor after he took off his coat and placed it on the hanger. Yanwu flew towards the mantle and began to look at it curiously. Meanwhile, Sam closed his eyes and examined his transparent spiritual core. Inside the transparent core were two new things appearing. It was a golden light and a golden fire. The two of them simply stayed silent at the center at the spiritual core. When trying to activate the spiritual energy in the core and trying to spread throughout his body to cultivate and there was no change. 

He felt quite confused and stopped. Sam thought for a moment and tried on a different matter. He spread out spiritual energy and after spreading spiritual energy he tried to change the golden flames. Then suddenly his spiritual energy turned into Fire-type elemental spiritual energy. He felt like he was one with fire. Sam then pulled out a golden flame and tried to use a golden light. It is a light element. These elements were from the Golden Sun Crow. So, they felt different from the normal elements. Sam thought of something and immediately opened his eyes and looked at Yanwu. Yanwu rubbed his head on the coat. Sam looked at her and smiled while shaking his head.

"Yanwu, I have something to ask you" Sam said. Yanwu immediately landed in front of Sam.

"What do you want to know?" Yanwu asked.

"Now I have both of your elements. Fire and light elements. But I doubt how I should learn the spell. Should I study like an orthodox magician or do I have other methods since I obtained the elements in a unique way?" ask Sam.

"Oh, you might not know this. Have you ever thought about how ferocious beasts use their elemental skills without performing any hand gestures or spells?" Yanwu asked.

"No" answered Sam directly.

"Because the beast did not need to do so because they had elemental skills imprinted within themselves. For example, for a normal fireball spell or pyro blast spell it should require a lot of spells and signatures. But I don't have to do it like that. I can only control the flow of fire directly and the fireball will appear. Let's go to the second floor of the Tower. I'll show it to you" Yanwu said. Sam took out the crystal and then the two disappeared into the tower as it fell onto the bed.

"Look good." Yanwu said to Sam as he transformed into his original form and opened his mouth wide and a golden-colored fireball flew into the distance. After that Yanwu landed and turned towards Sam. "Using such spells is called innate element manipulation. It was not only for ferocious beasts but also for humans. If they trained him over and over again until their bodies got used to it and were imprinted in his muscle memory, he could definitely do so, at least for the spells he practiced, he could perform innate element manipulation. But you don't have to do this, because you got it from my bloodline.

So Sam has other abilities along with built-in element manipulation. The first was 'Elemental Fusion' and the other was the 'bloodline technique'. Elemental Fusion is like this when one can fully understand the nature of an element, you can obtain the fusion of elements . There are three levels of element fusion.

At level one you can make all your skin one with that element." As Yanwu said, all of his feathers and skin slowly turned into Golden flames. Then Yanwu continued. "In this stage you can have a quick movement with in a place full of fire elements and casting spells can be easy.

In the second stage you can make one part of your body an element at a time." Yanwu stopped again and turned his wings into golden flames. When Sam covered his hand with spiritual energy and slowly put his hand into the fire. He felt a burning pain in his skin but he was sure that Yanwu was controlling the temperature, but his mind was not fixed on that. 

"The final fusion form is to make your entire body fuse with your element. I can't do it. Sam, you can't achieve fusion directly, but you have a huge advantage compared to the others because, the main requirement to achieve fusion is to obtain a high level of innate element manipulation." Yanwu stopped and took a deep breath and continued.

"Sam the Bloodline Technique is a forbidden art. You will also have it because we have the same bloodline. But you must remember to use it as a last resort."

"How do I use it?" ask Sam.

"Check your blood" Yanwu said. Sam closed his eyes and began to examine his blood with his spiritual senses. In his blood he found traces of golden blood flowing with him. As he watched closely, he discovered that the golden blood was perfectly mixed with his own blood. "Golden Blood is the Golden Sun Crow Blood. You must concentrate your spiritual senses on this blood and spread your Fire Type energy along with your blood flow quickly. The forbidden art of bloodlines would be active. If you activate it, you can fight an opponent that is many times stronger than you. But you have to pay a lot for it." Yanwu. Sam opened his eyes and looked at Yanwu before speaking.

"What about your light attribute? Do you know the healing spell?"

"No, we don't have a healing spell. We use the light attribute for the movement technique. See this?" Yanwu replied as his wings became bright with a golden light and he immediately disappeared and reappeared quite a distance away and in the same way he returned.

"Humans can also use it but pure light element magicians have no attack spells, So, they don't use it much. That's why they're just focused on healing." Sam nodded in understanding.

Sam slowly closed his eyes and tried to copy Yanwu's movement technique and make his spiritual energy into light element spiritual energy and concentrate on his legs. Then suddenly moved. Just like that he also disappeared but instead of stopping like he usually fell with a face first in the distance.

"Bahahaha" Yanwu laughed as he followed Sam. Sam stood up with a grim expression and started practicing the movement technique again and again. Sam fell down many times and he practiced movement techniques for hours. But the outside world only an hour passed. 

Sam finally had some improvement in his movement technique. Then he and Yanwu came out of the Dimension. Sam sat cross-legged as he took out the Fire element Spirit stone and began to absorb the fire element spiritual energy. The fire spiritual energy entered his spiritual core and fused towards the golden flames within it. It then turned into a golden color of red color and finally began to transform itself into normal spiritual energy slowly filling its spiritual core. Slowly the fatigue disappeared. He hadn't slept last night.

After recovering Sam slowly stood up and took the coat from the hanger and put it on. Then he slowly walked out of his room and Yanwu who had already turned into his crow shape was already following behind him as he landed on Sam's shoulder. The two entered the living room where Philip and his teammates were already waiting.
