THE REBIRTH OF A GENIUS. CREATOR/DESTROYER

THE REBIRTH OF A GENIUS. CREATOR/DESTROYER
Chapter 33. Third Round Ended

Everyone who heard Sam's words were completely dumbfounded when they saw his cold and emotionless face and then saw the charred person under his feet. Even though he was still alive now, he would not be able to survive for long. He would definitely die if he was not treated in time. Now, they understood why Philip had said many times to be wary of him.

Mason looked at Sam with his mouth wide open. “It's really our luck that he doesn't have the patience to handle us one by one. That's why he used a trap. If he takes it upon himself and starts hunting down the seniors one by one patiently, we will be in more trouble than worrying about winning the competition.' He thought while swallowing.

The most shocked were the noble children. They really didn't expect Sam's power to be so great. They regretted stepping out. The other two mid-level aides were already trying to take their tokens and escape. Suddenly, Sam moved and the first person to pick up the token felt an explosion behind his head. Under the shocked gazes of everyone present. The senior student fell motionless on the ground and he did not even have the faint breath the first two victims had. 'He died.' This is the thought in everyone's mind. Mason immediately came out of his daze and advanced forward and began to make hand seals and soon, some vines started growing from the ground and circling Sam as they tried to tie him up.

Just when Mason was about to give the order to his team-mates who were still in a daze. He saw a huge golden fireball burning where Sam was standing. After a few seconds, all the vines began to turn into ashes. Sam came out of the fire and walked towards Melisa and the others who stood outside the hiding place and watched the fight in awe. He stood in front of them and said.

"Our cooperation ends here. Take the people in the cave and get out of here. I'm not responsible if you're involved in any of these." He finished and did not wait for any answer and turned around and started walking.

"Do you need our help?" Shawn asked from behind. Sam stopped his steps but did not look at them and said. "Not needed." He's gone again. They watched Sam's back as he walked gracefully with the cane in his hand. Soon they came out of their daze and started running towards the cave. The seniors only looked at the sight and did nothing. They only noticed who was still walking towards them.

Sam walked towards the central point among the group and said nonchalantly as he looked around the seniors. "I don't care if you're senior, I don't care if you come from a noble family or an ordinary family. But today I'm gonna take their heads no matter what." He said while pointing to the four remaining senior students of the noble family. The four of them began to sweat profusely. They did not expect that the insults they used to provoke Sam would get this much backlash from him. They also feel a bit confused. They clearly saw that Sam only had the cultivation of the third stage acolyte (helper). But he had that much power, so he could fight with a seventh stage acolyte and he might even win with proper planning and weapons.

"If any of you object, you can also join the fight. But remember one thing. If you join the fight, make sure I die today. Otherwise, even if you leave, I'll make sure to pay you back later." Sam continued with the same indifferent expression. Just like all the hesitating seniors Sam moved suddenly and appeared beside the other man who was in the middle of the acolyte stage and had his arm broken.

*Crack* "AHHHHHHHHH" a blood-curdling scream came from the man. He was one of the first seven people to provoke Sam, when they saw him, they noticed that there was a token in his hand. Sam had broken his hand because he wanted to escape. Sam threw away the man and stood there and looked at the seniors who were not part of the conflict. They all took a step back under his cold gaze. Even Mason was hesitant to help the others. His instincts tell him that even if they could kill Sam now by gnawing at him, they would have to pay a terrible price, which might even cripple or even kill many of them.

Carl looked at the scene as the other seniors all retreated with fear visible on his face. That's when he thought of an idea. "If you don't help me now, you will all become enemies of all the descendants of the noble families. If we make it out of here alive, I'll take revenge on all your families." Just as he finished his words, all the seniors who were about to leave stopped in their tracks. Meanwhile the people who fell unconscious due to Sam's trap also woke up.

Sam turned towards the cave and saw no one there. So, he sighed and looked at all the seniors around him. Including the ones who had just woken up, there were around twenty-three people around him and eight of them were in the final stages of his aides, he said, six of them were at the seventh stage and two of them were at the eighth stage. Both are Mason and Dorman. Sam noticed Dorman's clothes and looked at him with a questioning look.

Dorman understood and said. "I'm from the Evergreen family. We don't want to be in conflict with you. So, I'll stay on the side." As he spoke, he and his three aides moved to the side. The other crowd except Mason all surrounded Sam with sad expressions. Sam then looked at Mason.

Mason shook his head and spoke while looking at Sam's gaze. "Can we stop this? It's not good for all of us if conflict explodes proportionately." He tried to mediate. He knew that he could not convince these noble children. So, he tried his luck with Sam. But he was disappointed to see Sam's expression. Then he just looked at the seniors who came from ordinary families and said. "You can back off. You guys have nothing to do with this." As soon as he said this, the other seniors whom Carl had threatened earlier, took a step back and heaved a sigh of relief. Even Carl gritted his teeth and said nothing. Technically, Mason was not a noble. But his father was in charge of the security of the city and he reported directly to the superior of the City lord.

As soon as Mason takes a stand, Sam moves on. He was like a ghost as he moved around the seniors and touched them. The four seniors were off guard. There were 4 of them, but no one could catch Sam or block him, he was like a ghost and his presence seemed to disappear. They noticed that his speed had also increased considerably from the previous time.

Right now, Sam was gritting his teeth and completely focusing on hers and letting all defenses off guard. If they could land a blow on him now, they might even win in a single strike. Within a few seconds Sam returned to where he came from and stood there sweating profusely. Now, all the seniors were already in an attacking position. All the witches started to make hand seals while the soldiers unsheathed their weapons, but when they saw what was in Sam's other hand, they felt their hearts fall. There were a lot of leather pockets on his hands. This is the pocket where the seniors keep their tokens. Now, they finally understood what Sam was trying to do. He had no intention of attacking at all. He stole their tokens.

Sam did not care at all and took out a large leather bag and kept all the bags inside. Then he took his token from his coat pocket and put it in a leather bag and closed it. Then he threw the bag to where he and his teammates were hiding.

He turned towards the seniors and said. "If anyone wants to get out, the other party has to die." When he finished, he held onto his staff and started his attack.

This time the entire stick shone in a golden luster and was covered with golden flames. He swung the baton as he struck the senior on the Middle stage Acolyte. As soon as he landed that punch. The flames covered a certain area as if an explosion had occurred. The senior who was hit by the blow only fainted, but the wound was also not light. Sam used atmospheric spiritual energy for this attack rather than how he used his own energy to attack earlier when he killed the person earlier. This was to ensure that his spiritual energy would last a long time. But this way will make her mentally tired. When Mason saw Sam's attack, which became less violent, he relaxed a little but he still felt a little tension.

He really did not want Sam or his teammates to die in this battle. Because they would all be in the same academy. That's why, he's standing out from this. If Sam is defeated, he will step up and save his life making him owe him a debt. Then he can use his authority over seniors and mediate disputes. As for Sam winning, he felt it was possible and if that happened, he had to stop this by making the seniors retreat before things got serious.

But looking at the fight he felt it was in a dead end. The seniors could not land a crushing blow on Sam, from the start due to his extreme speed. But Sam also had a little trouble, as he faced three superior cultivators at the late stage acolyte. Even then he was not harmed. The sight looked majestic as the Golden flames flew in all directions with Sam as the center.

*BOOM*Suddenly a burst of fire came and hit Sam and he retreated a few steps as he tried to defend the attack. He was currently facing two warriors and a mage all in the seventh level Acolyte. Carl is a mage with fire attributes. Of the seven that came at him, he had already killed and one and three others fainted, Now, all he had to do was deal with the three people in front of him and everything would be settled. Sam took a deep breath and looked at the three seniors. He's having a little trouble. As he was thinking about how to deal with it, Carl spoke.

"Basic little bastard. Where's all that arrogance from?" Carl speaks while shooting another fireball at Sam. As the fire subsided, they saw Sam standing there with his head bowed. When he lifted his head and looked at Carl, his gaze became cynical. He's like a madman for keeping his stick. He then took out a strange gold-colored object from the storage and held it in his hand. This was none other than the weapon he had made in the Artisan examination. The scythe blade shone with a golden luster as it reflected in the sunlight. Everyone looked at it with admiration. Even on the viewing platform, everyone looked at the weapon in confusion. Only the people from the Artisan tower watched it with anticipation. Under everyone's shocked and puzzled gaze, Sam suddenly moved.

He disappeared from his place and he started moving towards Carl with a dangerous aura surrounding him. He exuded an ice-cold killing intent that was in stark contrast to the Golden flames he emitted from the weapon in his hand. Just as he was about to reach Carl, he was attacked from behind. The soldier hit him on the back with an axe. But just as he was about to land the blow. Sam turned around and blocked the attack with a blunt part of his weapon, then he waved his hand and one of the sickle blades pierced straight into the soldier's body as he directly stabbed him from a spot near the collarbone. When Senior saw this, they all took a step back. The pierced soldier could not even scream. When they all saw the blade, they noticed that not a single piece of the sickle blade came out. It directly entered the body of another person who slashed all the internal organs on its way. Blood splashed onto Sam's face as he pushed his blade deeper and deeper. When he can't push it anymore. He directly landed a knee kick on the soldier's ribs.

*print***Track***Track*

A cracking sound could be heard as Sam kicked continuously with the knee on the senior rib. Now, all the ribs on one side were broken, when there were no more cracking sounds, Sam stared at the pain-filled senior face and hung on his last breath. He held the weapon tightly and pulled it down completely.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" Carl released a blood-curdling scream as he fell to the ground. He looked at Sam with hatred and fear at the same time. He hurriedly aimed at the sky and shot out a fireball. Sam doesn't care about his actions. He just slashed again and this time he aimed at Carl's arm. Just like a sword that makes contact with an arm. Sam felt danger from behind. He suddenly stopped his actions and swung the scythe sword as he hit something. When the object coming towards him made contact with his sword, it made a clinking sound and the surrounding wind turned chaotic for a moment. Sam looked at it and saw it was an arrow. He then coldly looked in the direction that came and saw a man in white, standing there with a bow in his hand and an arrow stuck on it.

He fired another arrow at Sam. But this time something unexpected happened. Sam swung his weapon as an arrow appeared and his blade this time cut the arrow in half. Carl slowly crawled backwards. He felt lucky that he made a deal with the archer before. He then searches for the bag where Sam keeps his tokens. When he saw where it was, he kept staring at Sam who was fending off the arrows. He was very careful not to attract his attention. Then suddenly Sam turned towards her and gave her a grin. He felt a bad feeling.

Sam jumped behind a rock to take cover. He then held his weapon as he made a double S symbol face him and looked at it. Currently, the symbol was not straight as it was slightly tilted. The slices on both sides opposite the symbol seem to prevent it from being straight.

Sam held the weapon with its hilt horizontally and made the symbol face up. Then he held the symbol with his other hand and straightened it firmly as it pushed the slice into the beam. The surrounding crowd including Mason saw his strange actions in a daze. Even the spectators on the viewing platform all looked at him.

When he straightened the symbol, the weapon suddenly extended as two beams jutted out. The tendon stretches to its limit. Sam then rotated his weapon vertically and pulled a bit of his tendon. His weapon is now like a bow. All the spectators were shocked. They had not expected a melee weapon that matched Sam's ruthless fighting style when he killed the soldier earlier, but when they saw the weapon turn into a bow, they were clearly shocked. Sam took out a rank arrow and put up a bow, then he came out of hiding and aimed at the distant archer. The spiritual energy turned into a huge ball at the tip of the arrow, then it suddenly began to condense as if it was compressed forcefully. Then the little ball suddenly turned golden in color and became bright. Sam smiled coldly and released his arrow. The archer on the other hand immediately smelled the threat and was about to leave. But the arrow was too fast and when it landed on it left a trail of fire on the road. There was a huge explosion and the surroundings were all burnt to ashes, even some rocks started to melt. By the time the blast was cleared, all they could see was a huge crater where a burnt corpse lay.

Sam did not even look twice at the explosion and walked towards Carl who was staring at the scene with a dumbfounded expression.

He slowly grabbed the double S symbol and changed it, it could change back to its original form. When he finally came in front of Carl and gazed deep into his terrified eyes and emitted an enormous killing intent. He then spoke in a low voice.

"What did you call me? Can you repeat it? I didn't hear it clearly." Everyone finally came to their senses and realized what Sam had done. Especially, Mason was wiping his sweat. He's been in a daze ever since Sam changed his gun. The rest of the events happened in the blink of an eye. He looked at Sam, who was emitting an enormous killing intent. It was so strong that he could almost smell the smell of blood in the air.

Carl peed on his pants as he felt the full brunt of Sam's killing intent. He then stuttered. "The Cri-Crimson Flame family will never—forgive you, j-if you m—kill me." It almost consumed all of Carl's remaining energy. Sam did not reply and simply thrust his sword directly into Carl's shoulder which cut off half of his junction. Then he grabbed the hand on the wrist and tore the entire arm off the shoulder.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" Carl cried out sadly. The other seniors took a step back and just wanted to stay away. They could barely bear to see the sight. On the spectator stage, the head of the Crimson fire family stood up from his chair as he released a terrifying aura. But Sam didn't know it at all. His full focus was on Carl shivering like a leaf as his handsome face was filled with tears and snot. The pride from before was completely gone.

Sam then thrust the knife into the other shoulder and said. "Come again. I didn't hear you clearly." His cold voice and the cynical smile on his handsome face made him look like a demon in a human form. Karel didn't know what to say. In fact, he did not dare to say anything.

Sam looked at the pitiful Carl and said coldly. "Do you know what I hate the most?" Carl shook his head. "Someone called me an asshole." He then tore off the other arm and stabbed a knife in one of the legs on the thigh and pinned it to the ground and started tearing it apart.

"Aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"

"Tidaaaaaaaaaaaaakkkkkk "

"KILL MEUUUUUUUUUUU"

"NOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

Carl's screams finally stopped. Not because the pain had stopped, but because he had no more energy to scream. Sam stopped after he tore off all four of his limbs. He then keeps the weapon and holds Carl's leg in his hand. He tore through the flesh and took the bone in his hand, then he broke the bone in two and looked at Carl, who was now lying in a pool of his own blood. Everyone's blood turned cold when they saw Sam's ruthless actions. They thought Sam was like a demon from hell. They even forgot that he was once a human. Then under everyone's gaze, Sam directly stabbed the sharp end of the bone into Carl's throat. Carl could only groan in pain while waiting for death to come. He just wanted to die peacefully. But his wish did not come true. He heard Sam's cold voice.

"I hope you will be born a fool in your next life. Otherwise, you will die like a dog like now." After he finished speaking, he slowly spread the golden flames onto Carl's body, burning him alive. For the last moment until he lost his life. Carl did not feel relieved as he felt tremendous pain until the very last moment. He died with pain and regret filling his eyes as he looked at Sam's completely cold and emotionless eyes. Under everyone's gaze, Carl turned to ashes.

Sam then turned towards the remaining Soldier of the previous seven. He immediately took out a knife and slit his own throat. He felt that suicide was better than suffering Sam's torment. Then Sam's gaze turned to the four people who had fainted earlier. They have now died from lack of care. Then he just relaxed a little and sat down to meditate. The other senior team members exchanged glances and then turned towards Mason.

Mason took out his token and broke it without saying a word. All the other seniors followed. All the seniors disappeared. Then only Sam was left on the ground and an announcement came.

"The third round assessment is complete. The winner is the New Student team."

At the same time on the viewing platform, another loud shout could be heard.

"CARRRRRRRRRLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL"
