Chapters 18. One Month

A month passed outside. But Sam spent about 10 months on the second floor of the tower. All he did was practice his techniques. Because, he could imagine anything inside the second floor of the tower. Sam used it to its fullest potential. He practiced hand-to-hand combat using the strength of his attributes. He only practiced the same basics over and over again until he was mentally tired and fed up of doing it again. 

He practiced the same basic movements tens of thousands of times even hundreds of thousands of times. He followed the principles of one of the few people in his previous life. It was none other than Bruce lee. 

As Bruce Lee once said, I am not afraid of a fighter who practices a thousand kicks. But I'm afraid of the guy who practices kicks a thousand times.' 

From this quote Sam experienced his own results in his last life. Even a basic punch was a deadly attack from a fighter who actually knew how to use it. That's why Sam keeps practicing the basics. In addition to hand-to-hand combat, Sam also trains in stick and archery techniques to improve his attack weaponry. 

He chose archery to practice long-range attacks. Although he was quite an expert in all the different types of weapons in his previous life and was even an expert in making them, he really did not want to take out those weapons for the time being. Sam always felt the most dangerous weapon in human hands. 

Although they could not deal as much damage as bombs and the like, weapons made people more easily aware of their poisonous ideas. A man with a gun in hand feels superior to others and wants to be treated as superior. That was the case in the previous world and Sam felt that it would not be much different in this world. So, if he made some weapons, he would only use them himself.

In addition to improving his combat skills, Sam also began studying formations and inscriptions. He first felt perplexed when he saw the formation and inscription put together. But then as he studied, he realized that they were both completely analogous. They have a lot in common. 

Inscription is a way of condensing spiritual energy in a certain form in a certain place according to the needs of the Inscription Master. While formation is guiding energy in a certain way and doing a certain work by turning it into a certain work. 

The most common thing in both is that both require energy nodes. Runes are used as vertices in the case of inscriptions and formation flags or other objects as energy nodes. From another perspective, both formations and inscriptions could be combined and also exchanged.

Sam came to this conclusion after a long time of hypothesizing and pondering and the results were so puzzling to him that he felt so shocked by his own thought process. 

The final completion of the incorporation of Inscriptions and Formations was to create a Disk Array. This was the process of condensing the formation itself into a Disk using inscriptions. That was the reason why the two were grouped together. From the looks of it, Sam thought that it was not impossible to create his own inscriptions and formations if he tried and experimented, by observing and manipulating the energy flow. Observation and Manipulation, after all, were his innate core abilities.

After thinking about this, Sam suddenly felt that these people were really stupid. All of these Inscription and Formation Masters were only working on how to memorize the knots and processes to reach the already established inscription or formation. They don't really care about how and why these things work that way. 'They have a lot of valuable resources, but these things are very futile in people like this. They can't really use it to their full potential.' Sam lamented inwardly as he studied inscriptions and formations. He almost finished all the blobs associated with the subject. After all, Sam himself was a genius and he could clearly understand all theoretical knowledge easily. The problem was that he could not make it practically. He could be considered as one of the most knowledgeable people, theoretically this field. But his practical skills were entirely limited by his own cultivation base. Sam sighed thinking about his cultivation base. After a month in the outside world passed, Sam came out of his tower. But he still lives in the divine dimension.

Today parks with different climatic zones are not empty. Yanwu returned to the lava stone village and brought back a type of grass suitable for the Bull. The Heaven spirit silk moth could eat all kinds of leaves. The surroundings in the Garden were filled with various elements of spiritual energy. Thus, silk moths are divided into different groups and are kept in different areas. There were a total of three moths that broke through to Level-3 beasts and they were from three different attributes. Fire, Metal, and Ice. This makes Sam very happy because he will get a new kind of resource. Other silk moths were kept in the normal zone when they were pumped because Sam also needed this type of silk. Bulls are still in the Evergreen family.

The biggest thing happens to Panther cubs when they finally grow up a little. They are now the size of adult panthers on modern Earth. But in this world, this was still considered a child. These beetles happily frolic in the Volcanic zone. As soon as they saw Sam arrive, they immediately pounced on him while happily licking his face. Sam smiled as he struggled to get up. This was now at the Level 1 beast in the Middle stage.

"It seems you're enjoying yourself." Suddenly a voice came from behind. Sam turned around and saw a three-legged golden crow that looked majestic. Sam looked at it and smiled. Yanwu had a corpse like a Deer under his claws. Sam smiled at Yanwu.

"Here, I've been waiting for you to take your part. Yanwu said as he sent a large amount of spiritual energy to Sam. Sam put away his children and received energy as he stood upright.

It is a daily routine for them. As Sam was cultivating in the Myriad Beast Blood line technique, he did not need to cultivate himself. The contracted beast would share spiritual energy equally with him and vice versa. Because, Sam was busy the entire time, Yanwu was the only one cultivating for the two of them. But it's not slow at all. Yanwu was able to cultivate using the spiritual energy within the garden since he was a ferocious beast. And on top of that animals can increase their cultivation as long as they consume the flesh of others. So, Yanwu was no problem as it had a vast forest to hunt. Thus, in the past few months, Yanwu reached the limit of the initial stage of level 2 and Sam was at the Acolyte stage of stage 3. This rate of increase is quite high even considered within a period of 10 months. But the flow time outside is only one month.

After a while Sam opened his eyes and looked at Yanwu and said. "Let's go and look outside." As he spoke, Sam waved his hand and the two landed on his bed. Yanwu had already turned into his Raven form. Sam took the crystal from the bed and put it back on top of the ring and walked down while Yanwu was still on his shoulder. As soon as they descended into the living room, the door of the mansion opened and five people entered the room. They were none other than Philip and the others. Looking at Sam, they were all shocked, but the two girls were more than shocked when they saw Sam and blushed as they turned their eyes away. Because Sam now doesn't wear anything on his upper body. He was only wearing pants and his chest and body were clearly fully visible. Sam is not

"Come guys, sit here." Sam said with a faint smile. Then only Philip and the others came out of a daze.

"Sam, when did you arrive?" Philip said as he walked to the chair and sat down. The other two boys also exchanged greetings, but the two girls did not say a word. Sam didn't think much at first and moments later he realized that they were completely silent.

"Sam, you don't know how popular you are. Almost all the representatives of the extended family came here very often in the past month to meet you. But all they see is your empty house or we're sitting here like this" Marvin spoke without much thought. But this statement made the already gloomy mood of the girls even lower. Then the atmosphere suddenly became awkward. Sam, finally understood why the two girls were like that.

The two girls looked at him with gratitude and were about to say something. But when they saw Sam's bare top, they blushed again and looked down again.

"What happened again?" sam asked confused.

"Sam, you might have to wear something." Paul said in a low voice. Then only Sam realized what was happening and immediately took the sleeveless vest from the spatial ring and put it on.

"Ms Haley's. I can understand why Ms. Freya is like that, but why are you acting like that." Sam asked Haley, who also clearly felt guilty. Haley just fell silent. Marvin answered instead.

"Well, Haley is the daughter of the city lord."

"Oh" Sam admitted and was silent for a while. Then he continued. Ms. Haley, Ms. Freya your dress will be ready next month. But I don't do it entirely with feathers. I have some new ideas. You still have to pay after the job is done. I'll give you a discount though. Sam said completely changing the subject. The two girls looked a little surprised and finally smiled. Seeing this, the others also smiled and they immediately returned to their cheerful selves. After a while, Sam pulled out a list and handed it to Marvin and said.

"Marvin, can you buy this for me?" As he said that, Sam gave him a list and would give him some spirit stones inside a leather pouch. It was soon stopped by Philip.

"Sam, it's better if you don't take out the fire spirit stone now. This topic of fire spirit stones was still sensitive. So, it is better to pay using ordinary spirit stones" Philip said.

"But I don't have any normal spirit stones" Sam said awkwardly. Hearing this everyone was dumbfounded. Then Philip came out of his daze and said.

"Sure" said Sam and handed the bag over to Paul. Now their previous awkwardness was completely gone. Paul picks up the bag while Marvin looks through the list. The more he read, the more he opened his mouth wide. He came out of his daze and looked at Sam in confusion and asked.

"Sam, why do you need so much stuff, what are you going to do?"

"Let me see." Philip asked as he reached for the list and he was also shocked. He then said to Sam, he was wide open. "Sam, when did you start dabbling in Formations and inscriptions?" This time Haley and Freya also lost their composure. 'He knew the inscriptions and formations. Since when did he know. Where did he learn it?' it's thought of in everyone's mind. Sam did not bother to answer. He turned towards Marvin and spoke. "Please get them as soon as possible. If you are left with a change, bring the formation flag." The list contained all the items needed to make any type of formation or inscription. Such items encompassed every type of material needed to create even the most complex of inscriptions or first rank formations." Marvin nodded and went out with Paul.

The rest is just a casual conversation. It was late when Marvin and Paul returned. When they returned, they saw Sam and the others were still in the living room and two panthers were also playing around. Both Marvin and Paul were exhausted as they dropped to the chair.

"Sam, next time you better compensate me for that grueling job. We had to buy all the items in different stores so as not to be suspected and it was night buying time was over." Marvin said in a tired tone. Everyone looked at Paul. He didn't say anything. But from his expression, they all understood that his condition was the same as Marvin's.

"Of course." Sam said as he spread his hand out to his hand. Marvin takes the spatial ring and hands it to Sam and Sam past his own empty spatial ring. Sam checked all the items with satisfaction. Then he looked at them and said.

"Friends, I need to tell you something." Everyone looked at him and waited for him to continue.

"I'm going out of town again and will be back a month later." Sam said with a flat face. Everyone remained silent with dumbfounded gazes and then looked at each other.

"Then why did you come at all?" ask Freya.

"It's not hard to buy all this stuff." Sam said again with a flat face. Hearing his reply, Marvin and Paul looked at each other sadly. They wanted to cry, but no tears came out. Philip and the others also looked at them and sighed. You came all the way just to get us to run your errands. This is the thought in everyone's head.
