Chapter 673. Provocations

Another week passed.

In this week, the next group of vampires actually came. They seemed to have paid an extra price to come here that fast. But they did come and Sam finished his Vampire set with sixteen members.

As for the rest, he had just killed them.

They were all the elites of the Vampire race and they seemed to have a high position.

And Sam's current catch isn't just the Vampires, he's got something else too. The bats these people were riding were one of the high-class beasts and he got around ten of them.

As for everything else, they were Eternal Volcanic Stones. The stones of Catapult. He got a lot of them. Each vampire had a Volcanic stone with them and he collected about twenty of them.

He still had not found a way to use it well enough. But they would definitely be useful as soon as he finished it.

Now, all he was waiting for was the upcoming Wights.

Once they come, he'll finish this. From what he knew Wights were the people on top of the pyramid regarding this operation.

They are the ones leading this and the Vampires and Ghouls are just leading together.

Along with this, due to the victory, the current situation changed and they finally started to get some information from the City Council.

During this time, the reason for the obstruction of information was because of the Minotaur troops. The Vampires tried their best to limit the information.

And the transfer of information takes place through bird-type animals. They are similar to the Silver Pigeons and Four Eyed Ravens, but much slower.

Now that the Vampires are gone, the Minotaur troops outside become ducks. Sam's friends sometimes go to their squad to settle debates with the Pre-transcendent Minotaur in these two weeks.

Now that these two weeks have passed, Sam is discussing his next plan with his friends. The Vampires did not feel regret when they leaked information about the Wights. They got so much info on a personal level, Sam has thought of so many ways to deal with it.

But what happened was one of the least expected scenarios. Wights don't come to town, Sam comes in. From what they get through the info, the first place they go is a city that's been looted and they seem to be doing something there.

After two days, there was another piece of information stating that the MInotaurs in the city were all out with the Vampires and they were marching towards Sam's current position. The entire city became without Minotaurs and Vampires. Only a few humans were left along with the weights.

The Wights don't stop there. Over the next ten days, news emerged of what the Wights were doing nonstop. They sacked the remaining two cities as if they were nothing. They kill every dwarf they can get and the fleeing dwarves send a message to Council City from where Sam gets the news.

They are not stopping the flow of information now. The Wights don't seem to care.

From all the info Sam gathered, there were about twenty people coming onto the field and they were divided into small teams to do something about.

In the two weeks since they entered the field, they made a lot of changes.

They plundered the remaining three cities and sent all the vampires and Minotaurs from that city to Sam's position.

They began to gather the remaining troops from the Minotaur region. During this time, most of the Minotaurs participating in the war were men, but now even the female minotaurs were gathering and they were all marching to Sam's position.

The troops outside the city that Sam was protecting were growing by the day.

The dwarves who had just slightly above the wind and were relieved when they defeated and pushed the troops back became panicked.

Except for the situation in the City of Council and the city of Sam, the other places were all under the control of the Minotaur and Orc.

The change does not stop there.

Orcs and ghouls were also moving towards the city of Sam. From what Sam knew about the current war situation, Council City was not a place where early stage Pre-transcendent stage cultivators could join the battle.

The mid-level Pre-transcendent stage cultivators were none other than ordinary soldiers. And the battle there is not about quantity. So, his weight was concentrating on the city of Sam as they could not change the situation much in the City Council even if they participated.

So, they target the next tough nut and try to fight Sam by deploying as many troops as they come.

When Sam got the news. He predicted that the Wights would be finished in two more weeks to gain an army completely. The Orcs and Ghouls will take longer to get here.

It had been four months and it would be four and a half months before the final battle began.

He started exploring the forest to find some high-grade trees. The vegetation in this area was excellent and Sam could spend all his time chopping wood and he still needed at least a year to destroy the forest in the dwarf territory.

Sam decided to make another defense machine as the number of troops increased a lot and he used some high-grade wood for the job.

He came up with a new design and gave it to craftsmen and wood element users to create new machines.

The design is not complicated, but it has too many components. So, the dwarves had to work day and night to finish it.

Their target was to make twenty of them and while they were doing that, Sam began to lay down several inscriptions throughout the city.

He even took out some remaining indigo water to deal with this situation. At first, he did not want to use inscriptions or personal resources.

Since the dwarf is not good with the first, he is not okay with using the second.

But now it's more than that. This was probably the biggest war he had participated in, in a while. The only war that could come close was the war with the Usaine sect.

The war with rubrum and even the Union sect was not that attractive to him. He wanted to see what these Wights could do that these Vampires could not. He decided one thing, that he would not let this city go no matter what.

So, he took out his resources and started using the Inscription.

Preparation takes place on a full scale.

Sam and his friends are very busy.

After two weeks, the situation finally came.

Sam stood on a pillar built in the middle of the water ring. He saw the weight for the first time.

They're all white. Their skin is white and has a crystal hue with their cool blue eyes.

They looked like they were made of ice.

When they saw Sam from afar, they also stopped their steps and looked at him.

Sam could even see a grin on the face of the person who seemed to be the leader.

They entered their giant tent.

Sam took the omen and returned to the town chief's house. He looked at Watt who was preparing the troops and sent all the residents back to the bunker and gave orders.

"Set up a new machine. Put them in their position. Wait for them to attack first."

Sam sat down in his chair once more and looked at the crystal table. The area covered by the crystal table increased and currently also covered the enemy troops.

He looked at the troops that were turning into battle formations. He saw Orcs, Ghouls, Vampires, and finally, Wight sitting in the tent discussing something. He could not hear what they were saying, but they would hear what he wanted.

He put his finger on their picture and sent out a message.

"How long should I wait? Go ahead and I can end this.

I'm sick of your dead body interfering with my vacation."

Everyone in the tent shivered hearing these words. Not because of the content of his words, but rather a calm and boring voice that instantly conveyed a message to them. It makes them feel scared.

Sam who was in town not only texted them and did so casually and here they tried their best and hit their heads to think of how to deal with it.

Now, they understand from the Minotaur account about the situation that Sam is the person behind all their problems.

This leaves them with a second seed of thought in their heads. They don't know much about Sam and that's why they take an approach that allows them to bombard with superior numbers.

But even now, that person was so relaxed that he could provoke them. It makes them rethink what they are fighting.
