Sam noticed the hostile gazes of others and the prince was delighted. This was the same prince who entered the Inheritance Palace but ended up with the most worthless gift of all.
Sam didn't want to bother them. He could not bend down to the level where adult men fought like children.
"Yodha, where's the nearest river?"
"Water? Do you think this is a forest? It's volcanic territory." One of the candidates could not shut up and speak.
Sam looked at her coldly and once again looked at Yodha suspiciously.
"Twenty kilometers in that direction," said Yodha and pointed in a direction. Sam thanked him and prepared to leave.
"Didn't you dare to hang out with us, if you got into trouble? You're not part of this team." The team leader said this once again.
Sam looked at her and did not answer. He had just stepped on a nearby rock and disappeared with a flash of gold. He didn't take the omens at this time, just out of a fad. He enjoyed jumping from one stone to another in this terrain.
It almost felt like a pinball machine as he crashed into rocks one after another and after some time, he finally saw the river trail.
There was a small puddle of lava on the rocks and as he moved forward, he could see the flow of Lava.
Inevitably he felt impressed at the golden liquid flowing in the river with the steam coming out of it; occasionally there would be some gas bubbles spitting Lava out.
As Sam observed, he could see a small flame near the river bank. But not too close to the river, a few meters away.
As he walked closer, he noticed that it was not fire, it was a red-colored grass.
He felt strange because there should be no land on that huge rocky terrain. He touched the ground and felt that the ground was even hot.
He plucked a few strands of grass and threw them into the god dimension to see if it was useful. When they appeared near the cattle ranch in the dimension, there the fire element livestock, including the flaming earth bull, were all eager to eat this.
Sam observes this and decides to collect more. The clump was not very high, the largest grass strands reached his calves at most.
He took a dagger and swung it. The beam of blades cut into the distance and the grass that was within a few meters all fell down. Then he started collecting it.
But when he started collecting it, he finally realized something. The clumps grow on small slopes that lead to the river.
And he took a step back and observed it from a different angle and finally understood.
The growing clumps do not grow on the banks, but rather the bottom of the river. And why the riverbed is in the open because the width of the river is reduced.
Sam felt this must be because of this special one-month period.
He followed the current and walked while collecting the grass while continuing to walk. He felt like a farmer who was mowing the lawn for his life supplies. But it's not a bad feeling.
As he hummed the song and mowed the grass, he walked slowly with the flow. If not for the flow of golden lava and the grass being so hot as to be removed from the oil after being fried, it would have been perfect.
After a long walk, there was no more grass and Sam did not use it anymore. He let out a sign and started moving faster. After a while, he saw two people fighting. One of them is Akhil.
He didn't think he would move so fast. Sam approached and looked at the fight with interest.
There was a small shrub at the bottom of the river and the fruit was about the size of a quail egg.
They look like berries.
Sam immediately understood what the fight was for. This fruit must be some kind of spiritual fruit.
He slid through the fight and instantly plucked one and ate it. After all, even if it was poisonous, it could not do much to him. Even if it was undeniable, he had a variant of the hydra lineage. He can only make it himself.
But his mind was unfounded once he ate the fruit. He could feel the fire element energy spreading to his bones and muscles, even his blood.
He could immediately guess the effect. Fire element users gain better affinity and non-fire element users will feel their body angry and they can gain some resistance to the fire element. But he's not too focused on that. He focused on the feeling he caused when it went down.
That was amazing. These berries are delicious and it looks like they will make good wine. He looked around and noticed that even though the same type of shrubs were there, they looked a little different. He tasted one of each bush and he noticed that it might be their growth rate.
Plants like this also seem to have a degree of evolution. Some berries have no effect on it and some have too bad an effect. Only the first two bushes gave him that sensation.
As Sam was testing the taste of the bushes, the two men noticed what Sam was doing and they immediately focused on him.
It would have been great if Sam hadn't beaten him, but expecting him to help would have been a little difficult.
His opponent was a newborn peak stage while he himself was only Level-6. He's having a hard time.
"Sam."
Akhil called out to him and Sam looked at him as he ate the berries.
He smiled and said.
"It's good stuff, man, I'll take it all. Don'worry. Once we get out of here, meet me. I'll give you some."
With that, he went to work in the bushes. He started picking the fruit without heeding the other two.
Akhil's opponent who was a Dragon immediately moved towards Sam with his sword.
"How dare you steal something of mine? I'm gonna kill you." He screamed while running. But Sam was at the omen and he didn't even bother to fight back. He danced in the air as he picked the berries faster than before. He noticed that there were seeds inside the berries, so he could try growing them.
As he dodged and jumped, he almost finished up plucking everything out. Only two main shrubs remained and they were the ones that had grown tremendously.
But his opponent was standing guard there.
Akhil did not move as he tried to recover.
"Go away and I'll give you some of them, otherwise don't blame me if you regret it later." Sam said in a calm voice.
But the last one was just grunting.
Sam did not care anymore and moved and immediately within a few minutes, the Dragon lay unconscious on the ground while Sam was picking the berries happily. He then threw some towards Akhil and said.
"That's your part. See you soon."
With that, Sam continued on his way. He thought this trip would be boring. But it looks like it's gonna be okay.
He moved along the river in Harbinger and found many such sights. There are many types of plants, grasses, and flowers that grow near this place.
But he didn't stop for everything. But he stopped for the fruit. He gathered everything and walked forward.
Soon, he saw that the river was turning into a cave on a small hill. As he decided to check what was inside before leaving, he heard some activity and was able to detect an existence not too far away.
He looked around with eye techniques and discovered that a group of people were discussing something. They are the Flavos team and there are also a few individuals coming in.
He also walked towards them to see what they were discussing and because they were not keeping anything secret. He got the gist of what happened.
The small hill was actually the habitat of a savage beast and he heard that they were the mutated Salamander Lava. They have thick skin and their scales and skin make great armor that has extreme fire element properties.
The fire element user would die for the sake of that armor. He also dared to enter. But before he could do so, the flavos team noticed and stopped. Sam felt his luck was bad. The reason, Mov team and flavos team both look unfriendly at all.
"You can't go in there. If you want, you can join the team and receive payment. Otherwise, you will have to wait for us to finish our expedition into the cave."
Sam understood that since he learned the information from them, they would use it as a point and block it a lot.
"If I want to go in now?" ask Sam.
"You'll have to pay the toll."
"How much?"
"Twenty million."
Sam threw a spatial ring and started walking into the cave. From what he heard there was one pre-transcendent stage beast and about ten to twelve new stage beasts were born. Sam doesn't have to worry. It's gonna be so easy.
After all, his main thought was only to see and follow the flow of the Lava flow. He was not too interested in beasts. But after the raid, he had to face these people who might take this place as their base of operations at least that's what they said. At the very least, facing these ferocious beasts was better than facing these people.
