Chapter 689. The Imortal Fool

Sam looked at Hou Yi who was currently feeling the effects of the poison.

He wondered how long he would realize.

When one thinks of fighting Sam, poison will not be the first thought. They often forget about it, because of the rest of his dominating abilities.

And Hou Yi did the same. Even when he suffered the corrosion effects of his injuries. He only linked it to the possession of the sword itself which was true.

But since the destructive poison was the most dominant, and his anger covered his foolish mind, he could not focus on the change.

Sam grinned at the thought that even an immortal was this easy to fool when he was this haughty.

Hou Yi's energy ran rampant as if he didn't care anymore. But Sam noticed that he expended so much energy and burned his blood in the process that he was able to get rid of the poison.

This is one of the most crude methods of removing toxins from the body.

But Sam didn't care, he just moved and would use the same method once again. But this time, after the shadow had blocked the attack, Sam did not make any further moves. He stopped halfway and spewed out a mouthful of blood.

Sam looked at Hou Yi coldly.

"Do you think you're the only one using necromancy against me?"

Sam did not answer and was about to move. Once again another arrow came and he tried to block it with a sword. But the arrow seemed to disappear into thin air before he felt a piercing pain in his left shoulder as his energy ran rampant.

He once again stopped his steps and bit the sword hilt in his right hand as he used his now free hand to release the arrow.

"You are also not the first person to use a sword to cut my arrow." Hou Yi continued in disdain almost materialized around him.

Sam increased his speed to the limit as he tried to dodge the arrow now that he could not block it.

But it turned out to be futile, the best thing he could do was to scratch his skin. As for completely avoiding it was almost impossible.

Sam thought for a while and this time, when he swung the sword, spiritual energy rippled through the air and the direction of the arrow changed.

Sam used ripple force and when the arrows were not connected, Hou Yi could not help but feel stunned. So, one of Sam's sword rays hit his chest.

Sam followed with an attack, but Hou Yi was smart enough not to stand there like an idiot.

Sam who now realized that the ripple force was working, did not hold back anymore.

He decided to use it and use it completely and now not even a single arrow could make it move. He just ran straight towards Hou Yi to reduce the distance. But it was difficult because the man was not so weak in terms of physique and speed.

His speed was not as fast as Sam's, but this man could blend his movements well with his archery.

The exchange was intense, Sam began to change his elements as he fought so that he could mess with Hou Yi's rhythm.

As for why he was sure someone would intervene the thought was supported by the fact that Hou Yi suddenly changed his mind out of nowhere from trying to kill him to giving a generous gift.

He knew that something must have changed in such a short time. So, he gave up on the first method and chose the second one.

Sam's body turned into a brown rocky texture as he used his earth element. His arms widened as a large rock emerged from thin air.

Hou Yi looked at him with a contemptuous smile. He had not expected Sam to use this method. The only thought in his mind was how to torture Sam as he felt Sam's despair from this method.

Sam threw the stone straight towards Hou Yi and another stone appeared in the hands of the two. He started throwing stones one after another as if he wanted to kill Hou Yi with these stones.

Hou Yi smiled as he made some striking movements and shot an arrow at the rocks.

Sam smiled looking at his actions and his body became transparent as he used the water element. All this happened in one second.

The arrow hit the rock and…

*BOOM**BOOM***BOOM*.

The stones exploded with a large amount of purple powder coming out from it. The whole area is filled with it.

This is one of Sam's new toys, this stone is not formed from the elements of his soil, but rather he takes it out of storage. He had already used the earth element to make all of these stones hollow and filled them with poison powder.

Although it seems stupid, this method is actually quite practical. Not many people would check the incoming attack with their spiritual senses and scan it to see if it was real or not.

And not for this obvious attack. The remaining earth element energy that Sam placed on it before throwing it would not help.

Sam used his transparency to his advantage as he moved within the purple powder area.

Hou Yi who inhaled the powder and powder dripped on him did not make any part of his body burn, it also made him feel like his blood was burning.

He only hugged from behind as his body turned metallic blue. He hugged her in the bear's arms and the metal expanded to hold Hou Yi for a bit. He did not give her the chance to fight back and directly heated her own body with his fire element making easy expansion as well as burning Hou YI's skin.

"Armgh."

Hou Yi groaned in pain.

"AAARRGGGHH."

But the next moment, the moans turned into screams.

Sam's metal body suddenly had sharp spines that protruded as he stabbed him in several places at the same time. His skin was too thick and his muscles were too hard to stab him from one side to the other.

But he doesn't need that.

The fire element was deactivated and he even used the water element to cool it down a bit and they suddenly, the lightning element kicked in.

Electricity crackled as it directly injected into Hou Yi's body as he shook wildly.

Sam held her in place and did not let go. Soon, Hou Yi began to lose his mind. Even his hair became crisp and smoke started to pour out from his head.

Sam finally let go and he fell helpless. But Sam is not relaxed with this. He took out a stick and dealt a few punches with an empty force on the spine and even used his observation ability to see cracks.

He finally smiled as he spoke.

"Hou Yi, the archery god. And this is all you can do. Struggling at cheap tricks. The fun is not over."

Sam moved his wand that made a hole in the back of Hou Yi's pants and he stabbed the stick right in the anus.

"ARRRRGGGHHH." He found his voice lost to lightning.

Sam just grinned and took a thirty-degree kick straight at the other end of the stick.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRHHHHHHHHHHH"

The screams increased and blood seemed to flow downward.

Sam picked up the stick and threw it away before removing a small needle and a methane grenade before placing it in the pant hole right between the cheeks of the buttocks.

He crouched down and said to Hou Yi in his ear with a cold and venomous voice.

"The day I meet you for real, will be the beginning of your worst time. I will make you wish that I was never born. Just a word about me will make you destroy the whole world and after all that suffering will come the day we will face each other.

That day, the situation will end in the same way as it is now. Remember this."

With that, he pressed the grenade trigger and jumped back.

*EXPLOSION*

*AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH."

The explosion was followed by a shout as the upper part of the body slowly disappeared.
