Sam activated his energy vision while their swords were still locked. When he saw the energy wave, he could not help but frown.
Commander Wight seemed to be suffused with a large amount of death energy. And a lot of energy is still injected into his body by the environment.
He looked around with a vision of energy only to realize that all the energy was being sucked out of the nearby vegetation.
His body devoured everything from the plants around him..
Sam took a step back and once again attacked. Right now, the Wight commander's strength had increased slightly, but the main danger lay in his endurance. With this constant supply he can take the battle no matter how long he wants and not only will he succeed in destroying the forest and the plants, he would also be able to recover no matter how many times he wanted to and also weaken his opponent before killing them.
This was actually not good even for Sam with his overly resourceful energy reserves and his proximity to the surrounding spiritual energy.
Sam's body began to circulate the energy waves. He decided to use the Void style from the very beginning.
He could not waste time feeling the opponent's strength and took the time to find his weakness. He had to punch himself to make him feel desperate. Since commander Wight's main asset was recovery, he decided to injure him faster than his recovery rate, he said, and thus one golden beam and a white and gray beam both holding two swords clashed as each clash produced a burst of energy.
The surrounding environment could not handle this as the decaying trees were swept away by aftershocks.
Aftershocks knock down trees. Sam felt a little conflicted because of this. If he did not attack at full strength like this, it would be difficult to face this person.
But if he attacked like that, he had to tread carefully so as not to injure Watt who was sitting nearby. Even the heavenly wine could not make him recover instantly.
Sam and commander Wight clashed with each other constantly as Sam thought of a solution to this. He tried his best to control the flow of the battle.
But he also noticed that commander Wight was also trying his best to move the battle from here.
Sam once again activated his energy vision and realized that he was trying to bring the battle deeper into the forest and that was because the surrounding vegetation was completely rotting and he was trying to obtain a new source of energy.
Even though he was devouring the energy from the forest, it was extremely slow. Now Sam finally understood his opponent's weakness.
His absorption range was not as far as he thought.
As Sam thought about how to exploit his weakness, his rhythm was interrupted by a sudden surge of death energy hitting his chest and he lost control of his limbs for a moment making him drop two swords.
A lump of death energy was pierced into his chest from his partial fusion form. He concentrated all his energy into his chest and tried his best to expend death energy.
Commander Wight did not allow this opportunity and began to attack. The sword left too many scars on Sam which injected death energy into his body.
He began to receive severe damage and his fusion form corroded. When Sam was too damaged to resist, commander Wight kicked him to the ground and stabbed his hand with a sword that pinned him to the ground.
Sam did not even groan in pain as the death energy tried to seep into his hand.
Commander Wight crouched down and looked at Sam right in his eyes.
"I thought I'd need more time to finish you off. But it looks like you slipped a little."
Sam moved his head to stare at Watt who was already at a safe distance and he looked into the Wight commander's eyes once more. He did not lose his battle rhythm nor was he carelessly injured. He noticed earlier that Watt was trying to leave the area. If Commander Wight sees him and Sam moves, he might try to take Watt hostage.
That was why he allowed himself to be attacked by her. With that, commander Wight not only stopped thinking of moving into the forest to get extra energy, he also ignored the wattage and exhausted the energy he had absorbed.
Now it's time for him to act.
His partial fusion form disappeared and a strange smile appeared on his face.
Commander Wight felt that something was amiss, but before he could react, Sam opened his mouth, golden flames shooting out from him leading straight into the eyes of commander Wight.
"ARGGGGGH."
Commander Wight felt extremely irritated as he held his face and rolled around on the ground.
Sam looked at the sword in this crack and saw the death energy still injecting himself into his arms.
He closed his eyes and the palm on which the sword was pierced exploded into a slurry of blood, before his body turned to ground brown and he disappeared from the spot.
But at this precise moment, he felt his weight increase tenfold and his knees start to bend.
At this moment, the ground behind him shook and Sam walked out of there with his body turning metallic sea blue and his arm turning into a metal blade as he tore the commander's back vertically upwards.
The commander began to heal himself quickly, but before his wound closed, several mutant scales appeared and shot himself into his body. Sam only used four scales and put them into his body.
He didn't control them after that, he just let them stay inside.
While commander Wight was feeling the agony, Sam walked towards his two swords and took them.
He once again switched to a form of partial light fusion and started his attack.
This time, the situation was both reversed.
While the Wight commander tried to hold on, his entire body would feel pain as the scales would move within his body.
Every time he tried to attack, he would be attacked from both inside and outside simultaneously.
Sam left a scar full of light elemental energy and vitality in his body. Although its weight was most vulnerable to the attack of wood elements that were full of vitality and they were not as vulnerable as vampires to light elements, if they were sufficiently attacked, even the light element was dangerous.
The attacks from the inside and outside destroyed his body slowly along with the extra gravitational effect that killed him.
Sam had just left an inch of life in him. Commander Wight knelt on the ground as he stared at Sam coldly.
He was filled with anger and rage and the more hurt he was, the more he felt like killing Sam.
He looked at her with all hatred and said in a weak voice.
"One day, I'll come for you. No matter where you hide in this world, I will come looking for you. I'll make you wish you were dead. I'll make you wish you were never born."
Sam stared at him as he took out a chessboard. But before he could act, the Wight commander turned into a gray mist and disappeared.
Sam was stunned for a moment and looked in the direction.
"Maybe I should stop acting cool and fight everyone. I missed a good chess piece."
He sighed and looked around to catch the others.
He got a complete set of Wights and a complete set of Ghouls.
After capturing, the dwarves continued the rest of the war.
Although the people from the undead realm disappeared, there were still some people left in the plundered cities.
They lead the remaining wars. They knew that the situation was out of control, but most of the people left here were subordinates and all they could do was follow through.
Minotaurs and Orcs were the ones who were in the biggest dilemma. They started this war because of the promise of the undead people and actually, it was instigated by them.
Now they are at the point of no return.
They can only continue this.
Sam only lives within the city and focuses on gathering his resources for the next month.
His friends had gotten good sparring from the MInotaurs and Orcs, so they were not willing to leave yet.
So, he just decided to stay here further. After all, it was time, he started to gather what he spent.
He took over the spirit stone mine and started transporting spirit stones. There's about a month for six months to come to an end, he'll focus on his gains for this one month before returning.
