THE REBIRTH OF A GENIUS. CREATOR/DESTROYER

THE REBIRTH OF A GENIUS. CREATOR/DESTROYER
Chapter 664. Passive Side

Sam immediately returned to testing. This time, he began experimenting with the metal he had obtained from Andhera.

He noticed that the stone had an affinity towards all kinds of dark elements and its variations and its greatest affinity was with death energy.

Although there was no metal with it that matched death energy, he could still use metals that had an affinity with dark elements and use his knowledge of formations and inscriptions to see if he could create something that could help him use this stone well.

But before that, he had to reduce the size of the stone without affecting its properties and performance. So, Sam started using observation techniques as he began to analyze the stone structure.

Meanwhile, the newly created armor was distributed among the dwarves. Sam used the same principle that he used with the giant bow and made several grooves on the armor so that it would create a base formation and the spirit stones inside the groove would act as knots.

The dwarves are not good at writing inscriptions. They may be able to operate it, but if it breaks they cannot repair it, this way, they will be able to repair it even after Sam leaves.

After experimenting with the stone a bit, Sam suddenly remembered something as he went to check the wall.

He vividly remembered that the walls were hit by some gray flint and although, they did not penetrate and the gray flames only lit for a short time on the walls, the, he remembered the effect of gray fire on the rocks.

He placed his hand on the wall and started using his observation ability, he might not be able to cover the entire wall, but he just wanted to check it in part.

The territory he covered made his heart shudder. From the other side of the wall it only looked like some cracks had appeared on it, but when he checked the structure himself, he noticed that the inside of the wall did not look good.

There were some small cracks and there were a lot of loose sandstone in between. If this continues, tonight will be the last night the wall stands.

He immediately ran towards the commander and asked,

"How many land element users do we have here?"

"Why?"

Sam explained the situation of the wall and the commander shuddered.

"We do have some, but we won't be able to cover the whole wall. And even so, we had to go outside, which was obviously not beneficial to us."

"But we need to find a way to fix that wall now."

Sam said once more. Although the enemy retreated, they only retreated catapults to the extreme so that they would not be within the range of the Crossbows, but the rest of the soldiers were there.

The catapult is difficult to move, but now people. They could escape the arrow attack if they tried.

Even if they did a surprise attack, they would not have much of an effect as they would become wary after the initial chaos.

If they really wanted to overwhelm the other party, then they would have to guard the wall with at least a hundred bows, right now, they only had about thirty and it would take two more days to make a bow, but they didn't even have that much material.

Sam can't just give away all his material, he has to keep it for his own purposes.

He had only taken out ordinary metals until now and he had reached the end of his reserve, no reinforcements from the headquarters, no resources left at all.

Suddenly, Sam remembered something and thought of the pile of broken armor and weapons on the forging road. When he asked the commander about them, he simply said.

“It was all armor and weapons that were badly damaged. Most of the damage is caused by elemental energy changing the properties of metals, they are not worth repairing, so we just throw them in there.

When any craftsman wanted some scrap metal or a lack of metal, they would go there and try to find it."

"Just bring all the scrap metal to the wall, summon all the earth element users, metal element users and fire as well. I don't care what level they are, everyone will be useful.

Ask them to come quickly."

The commander immediately gathered the men, and Sam proceeded to inspect the various points on the wall. He had not expected his plan to be like this, if not for him testing the stone, he would have ignored this matter completely.

When the users came one by one, Sam swiftly gave the command.

Sam placed both his hands in a place where there was a large crack and extended the crack slightly so that it was visible on this side of the wall. After which, he took out a piece of broken armor and used the manipulation of the metal element and its fire element to melt and soften the metal before making it flow inside the gap with perfect control.

He used a few pieces of metal and only sent them until the crack completely fused together.

He turned to the cultivators and said.

"I will mark the larger cracks with a circle and the smaller ones with a cross. All the smaller cracks can be overcome by combining rocks in the region.

But larger cracks should be handled with three element users. Earth, metal, and fire. Just like how I did it.

Do it quickly and do it cleanly. At night, I want the whole wall filled. But make sure that the metal will not flow to the other side of the crack and also not increase the crack too much. Once the wall collapses or the other party has a premonition of what you're doing, we'll be done."

Sam gave these instructions and went to the other side of the wall to do the same.

But he felt this would not be enough, this was a temporary measure and he knew that the other catapults would also be in the process of unsealing tonight and the damage would increase.

He must have found a way out of this. Arrow production had reached its limit and it would be difficult for him to accelerate it.

If he really wanted to speed it up, all he could do was make it inside the divine dimension. But he couldn't do it, because he wouldn't be able to make it in time if a battle were to occur and he would have to be in place for every possible round.

He went to the fields and even the river entrance in the city to look at the formation and noticed that the formation was working at its limit and the death energy was so high that it accumulated in the formation like black smoke.

Sam shook his head and placed another formation around him and another one around him.

Now the tension on the first formation is reduced.

As he was checking the field, Watt came to him and said.

"Work on the wall is a very slow step. They try their best, but they cannot finish it. Most of the people there are human and they don't have much experience, I think you'll be needed there."

Sam held his forehead in frustration. He could not believe that he was working so hard to save another person's house all because of the deal he made with someone he had only met once.

"Just ask Philip to come. We'll try our best."

Then he went to the wall to help and Philip also joined.

Only half of the wall is done before night.

"We couldn't do anything about it, trying to block the boulders from hitting the wall. We have to work hard."

Sam said and after thinking for a moment, he continued.

“Ask users of soil elements to create a soil wall made of soil on the outside side.

This is the basic thing. Just like them to keep the layers active as soon as they collapse.

From the improvements we've made, it'll last tonight if we're careful."

Sam was exhausted from all the work he had done. After the sun had set, the enemy was already on the move.

Sam could only sigh. If only they had a larger number, he would have carried out attacks all morning. They are currently weak and do not have a decent advantage.

Even crossbows with an increased number will only be useful as a defensive measure as catapults will also increase.

It's completely new for Sam to be on the passive side. All he needed was one good loophole and he would make the whole situation turn around and the war would end before they realized it.
