THE REBIRTH OF A GENIUS. CREATOR/DESTROYER

THE REBIRTH OF A GENIUS. CREATOR/DESTROYER
Chapter 670. Trapped

Battle underway.

It's very intense. Minotaur, undead, vampire servant, human, beast. Every creature involved fought crazily. The entire city was stained with blood everywhere.

Even the waterways were full of blood and blue algae were having fun. They feast on blood, flesh, and bones.

The whole situation turned chaotic. The Dwarves used terrain and tricks to their advantage. The Vampires and Minotaurs sensed the danger of water for the first time. They did not expect that a city that had a stream flowing through it could become this cruel with just a few tricks.

They had the worst days of their lives.

The Vampires, not taking it anymore, they just waited for the night desperately. All they could think of was that this would end as soon as night fell as they would be able to kill Sam and his companions, destroying the chain of command.

But what they don't know is, even Sam and his friends are waiting for the night. They were waiting for the Vampires and their servants to take complete action so that they could slightly flex their muscles.

By nightfall, the Pre-transcendent stage Minotaur managed to reach the third ring while battling the dwarves' Pre-transcendent stage cultivators.

They did not want to fight in the first or second ring because they suffered aftershock victims.

They had already suffered heavy losses and the dwarves had deliberately lured them to kill their own kind.

That was why they tried their best to drag the battle deeper into the city as they thought, they could do the same to the townspeople. After all, they did not know about the whereabouts of the residents and even though they were inside the houses inside the city.

But they didn't meet them.

The Pre-transcendent stage minotaur was higher in number compared to the dwarves in the city. But they still managed to hold back against them until they reached the open ground they had made.

Inside the open ground, Philip was sitting while a huge golden bird stood beside him.

It was none other than Yanwu.

Although the Minotaur felt like they were luring the dwarves into the inner ring, it was actually a trick. The dwarves made it look like that with Sam's instructions. This is another ability of the crystal table.

Sam notices that he can use his spiritual energy and senses to send information directly to one's mind within reach and mark it as his ally within the table.

He managed to guide them to battle in a way of luring them into the city and sending them to a special area specially created to fight these Pre-transcendent stage cultivators.

The three Minotaurs were a little surprised but they did not care much and directly attacked Philip and Yanwu, who were replying in the same way.

Sam's situation happened in various other places. Watt was accompanied by Sky and Falck as they were in charge of the air defense of the Pre-transcendent stage beasts.

Arman is paired with Raiju, Mia is in charge of the flow, She is assigned with Jack. The shadow rat is there to help with some grenades and such, the Zoi termite is in the first ring along with the grasshopper.

The battle intensifies especially where Sam's teammates are stationed.

Each place was attacked by at least three Minotaurs and they fought them vigorously. Fortunately, there are still rules. Or more like the Minotaur was unable to hire higher level cultivators other than early stage Pre-transcendent realm experts at this place.

But they were supposed to do that as a combination of the Mythical Beast and Sam's friends couldn't be taken lightly. The battle was completely one-sided and the Minotaur was already suffering.

Yet the Vampires remained stubborn, they were satisfied with the current state of affairs.

Although the minotaur suffered a loss, they were content to occupy the hands of Sam's friends. All they wanted to do right now was to keep Sam isolated and this time, they planned to attack as a group of six.

So, this time coming night was the only thing stopping them.

And soon the time comes.

As soon as the sun set, the six vampires turned into puffs of smoke and moved towards the city.

They passed through the first ring as efficiently as for the second ring, not even they dared to enter that water with vitality, he said, so they used some flying beasts that looked like Bats to cross over quickly and immediately, they arrived at the house of the city chief as they evaded Sam's friend and directly entered the mansion.

They were all focused on him with enormous killing intent.

Sam just stood in his chair while still looking at the battle. He doesn't even care about the six vampires.

He was just casually operating the formations and tricks he had placed in various places in the city.

The Vampires, especially those who attacked him earlier looked at him with hateful gazes while the remaining three were focused enough to pay attention to what Sam was doing, their eyes fixed on the crystal table.

They did not expect something like this would be in Sam's hands, their eyes filled with greed.

Sam looked at them at this moment and said.

"This thing looks good, right? It works well too. It can show what can't be seen normally. Like this."

Sam said as he zoomed in somewhere and there was a bat hanging on the tree right beside Philip's battle area. Vampires are confused.

This was one of their beasts, sent there to ambush Philip. Sam just continued without a care.

"And it's also possible to do something that normally can't be done, like this."

With that, he zoomed into the house of the city chief in a holographic image and showed a scene of the hall they were in. First he placed his finger on the main door, which was immediately closed. And they noticed that there was a mirror attached to the door.

Sam not only stopped there and started touching the pillars inside the holographic image and a mirror started to appear. Chairs, drawings, and even ceilings, walls. All turned out to be mirrors under the illusion. Now their mirror shape is revealed.

Sam once again looked them in the eye and spoke.

"Do you really think that your journey will be so easy? Do you really think that you entered this place because of your superiority? You're here because I let you in.

And I let you in because I prepared something for you."

As soon as he spoke, his body shone with a golden light, as he activated a partial light fusion.

He casually took out a small metal stand that was almost the size of an ordinary candle holder and took out a crystal that had many faces on that stand.

He placed his right index finger on top of the crystal and let out a faint light. The transparent crystal turned into gold giving a faint hue.

Sam looked at the six vampires who had no idea what was going on playfully.

After his previous encounter with the Vampires, Sam thought long and hard about how to deal with them. He didn't want to deal with them directly, they were strong and Sam had to exert so much energy to deal with them even if they were two against one and if they were three against one, he must use a dangerous alternative, or a chessboard.

But he did not want to gather everyone and anyone. He had to use that chessboard as a trump card and only if he wanted to gather someone truly interesting.

Then he recalled the light element attacks that had a great effect on them. It's like a virus to them.

Light element attacks are not common, in fact, they are too rare to the point that most people in the universe do not know it is possible. But for Sam it was possible. In fact, this is one of its most used and most dangerous modes of attack.

So, why would he have to deal with them when he could prepare for their attack when he hated their existence so much?

That was how he set this trap and he made it so deliberately that they would not be able to escape.

Sam fired a laser beam through that index finger. The laser beam deviated into several rays and shot out from the crystal as it hit the various mirrors and with just a single tilt of his finger, six rays shot towards the six vampires before they could understand what was happening around them.

And just like that, they suffered their first attack.

The only problem was that, although painful, the six vampires were still standing, the intensity of the attacks was reduced slightly due to such a far-reaching difference. But Sam was not worried, he was grinning mischievously, while the vampires who were clearly safe for now inevitably felt terror clutching their throats.

"Let's start our game, shall we? We're gonna have fun."
