After the talk that night, Sam sorted through his thoughts on how he should proceed and each scenario would be based on the temple's attitude of the god of Lightning towards his proposal.
While he was thinking, three of the six major powers were currently in a heated discussion about Sam.
The first one was the temple of the Lightning God.
He was in a private meeting with the Temple head. As a direct descendant, he did have some privileges.
Arthur had brought back some recording crystals and showed them to the temple head and lastly gave him a spatial ring, which Sam asked to pass.
The temple chief was already astonished when he saw the things Sam had done. Of course, many of them are not so useful for the temple, but the main factor to consider is the changes Sam can bring.
With his unique formation and all-rounded thinking, when he saw the footage of the city, the, he could see that there were many unique things and there were several training methods used in the tasks that Sam placed in the park that were accessible to cultivators.
In fact, he didn't even think about it.
Notably, there was one promise Sam made, he would give them a chance to conquer the seas around him.
This was the main problem for the six great powers, although, they had conquered their islands, the sea was the main threat to them. Sometimes, some amphibious beasts would come and wreak havoc and sometimes there was a war between a great power and a savage beast.
The beasts on land and at sea had a friendlier relationship and this made it harder for cultivators because many wars were fought on the coast.
The six major powers only had one goal and that was to conquer as many landmasses in the central continent as possible.
But they did not dare to enter because the threat posed was too great. Even wars were fought on the coast which showed that humans really did not have much power in the central continent.
If it's like Sam said, they can find a way to gain access to the waters around them, at least they can be sure that they won't lose their lives there and there's a lot of unexplored things on the seabed that they can't get.
If they wanted to explore it, a transcendent would have to enter because there was no way anyone below could hold their breath that long, but if a transcendent one really came, it was impossible for anyone below to be able to hold their breath that long, the ferocious beasts in the sea were coming as well and a fierce battle was about to occur.
The Temple Head was thinking about all these factors, but he was still unsure as this did not seem to be something that could defeat the shadow sword.
There was only one more thing he had to see and it was a spatial ring.
When he took out the item inside, he was dumbfounded. It was just some Blue-colored Sand that had a somewhat rough grain, but when he examined it more and more, he was shocked to the point.
This is a thunder meteorite sand. He knew his characteristics but had never seen them. As far as he knew, only Usaine had some meteorite sand and it was too little, which could only make two weapons at most.
They try to test their characteristics to find places and environmental conditions they may be able to find. They treated the meteorite sand like a holy object. And it was a rumor that Usaine's head was the only one to have a meteorite sand weapon.
They don't know why they don't make guns anymore.
But now, the head of the thunder god temple had some meteorite sand in his hand and Arthur said that there was about ten times the amount of ownership Sam was willing to give.
"I'll make a decision in a few days, you can go." The head of the temple sent Arthur away while continuing to inspect the sand.
Meanwhile, in the Usaine sect. All the elders and researchers working with Sirona had a very difficult time.
Something seems to have changed, since his last escape.
Yeah, run away.
The Sect Leader completely rejected his idea of going to the western continent, but because he desperately wanted the formation simulator, he escaped, by threatening the space gate operator.
After he returned, the formation simulator was with him, and the sect leader who was angry at his escape was completely shocked and called him to the meeting.
"Sirona, do you really have a formation simulator?"
"Yes." Yeah."
"Did you get that shadow sword?" He could not hide his excitement when he asked this question. Even the remaining elders thought the same.
But the answer disappointed them.
"No." He said it very honestly.
"Why don't you bring the shadow sword with the formation simulator?"
"I didn't ask for the sword, because I didn't want it."
The frown on the face of the sect leader deepened and he asked.
"Don't I have told you before that if you kill someone, you should take all of their treasures, and even if you don't want them, you still have to get them back for the sect? Why didn't you do it? "
Sirona looked at him as there was a wink in his eyes. "I didn't kill him."
"If you don't kill him, how do you get the simulator?" The sect head lost his patience, but he could do nothing, this was the nature of Sirona. He won't say anything more than necessary. In fact, they trained him that way and he had a big role in that training, but now their actions bite their backs.
Sirona recounted everything that had happened except his conversation about Sam after the battle and looked at them.
Their faces showed a myriad of expressions, from silence to suspicion and disbelief.
The Sect Leader looked at him deeply and said.
"You can go now. We'll talk later."
Sirona left the place and when he entered his room, there were many pieces of metal, scrolls, formation discs everywhere. There were some fake weapons, half drawn inscriptions etc on the floor.
At this moment, in the meeting hall.
"Stek leader, I think he's lying. How could Sam give up his simulator even after defeating him? There's no way that's happening. He must have dropped it and stolen the sword and let it live to make up that story." One of the elders said it with great confidence.
"Yes, since he is an expert artist, he could have realized the value of the shadow sword and stolen it from him."
Like this, there was a myriad of speculation accusing Sirona of being a thief of the shadow sword.
"I'll investigate the matter and see if what he says is true." Said the sect leader as he ended the meeting. Even he had no confidence in brainwashing himself against Sirona.
He felt that the value of the shadow sword might have changed his straightforward character.
Meanwhile, Sirona who was sitting in his room was holding a communication token in his hand while listening to their conversation.
There was an inexplicable mix of complex emotions in his heart, but he could understand what he was feeling right now.
He did not care about worldly possessions, power, fame, or power. Since childhood, there was only one thing he thought about and that was that he had to pursue and gain as much knowledge as he could and his knowledge should be useful to the Usaine sect.
And when he obtained some results, he had to show it to the sect and earn a confession.
His desire for this was too strong and he even felt that his life only had meaning if he lived it like this.
Once, there was an assassination attempt from an enemy spy and he was afraid that if he died, it would be meaningless and from that day on, he said, he decided to take his time to increase his strength and make some 'toys' for him to want't die while he was still in the sect.
Moreover he only moved on sect members when they called out his name.
But now, he felt his life was meaningless at all and at least not for these people.
He wouldn't have noticed it if it wasn't for his conversation with Sam after the battle.
He clearly said what would happen and he would be better off if he found a way out of the sect. But she refused to believe him at the time.
Although she doesn't trust Sam, she wants to confirm to remove the small seed Sam planted, but it seems like she has to trust Sam for this one.
Although not much had happened in the meeting hall and so many people had directly accused him, there was only one person he cared about and that was the main brainwash for the sect leader of his own.
Sirona is a simple-minded person and he may be easily manipulated, but it is also easy to lose the trust of that simple-minded person. If the sect leader denied that he would not do so, then everything would be over.
But now, due to the conflicting answers, there was a dangerous seed growing in his heart.
