Chapter 62. We Need to Adapt

The Elders will not help you directly and they will not interfere even if you are in a life and death situation unless you destroy your tokens. If you destroy your tokens, they will not only help you but also you will lose your right to compete further and will be escorted out of the forest.

About how you can earn your points, there are three most basic ways.

One is to eliminate the opposing teammate. For every opponent you defeat, you will be awarded one point and if you fight against multiple opponents at the same time, you will progress on the points you have earned. That is if you are up against three opponents, you will get one point for the first, two points for the second, three points for the third.

The second way to earn points is by collecting points rolls in the forest. There were scrolls of points stored in various places in the forest. Each reel you get is a set of points. You have to find the reels, get them and then you have to unroll and place your tokens on them to claim the points.

Not only scroll points, you can also find attack scrolls, scrolls that can unseal cultivation, weapons, food resources, your medicine supplies in various places.

"Let's move on." Dustin said and chose the direction as he moved when the others would follow the low voice that stopped their pace.

"They went in that direction" Eve said from behind.

"We don't need to go there. The sound of the river flow could be heard from this direction. If we go there, we can have a water source near us." Dustin said and started moving again, the rest followed and Eve also paused but still followed the group.

Meanwhile, Jack and Sam ran a short distance away and sat down by a large tree. When they heard a loud roar, Sam grinned and Jack heaved a sigh of relief. The last one looked at Sam and asked.

"ROOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRR" with a loud roar, he turned around and walked away.
