Sam and Chatur left with no sound as they had come. But the news of the deaths of everyone on the battlefield dead was heard and both sides suffered losses. But no one knows what happened. Although news spread quickly, they were unable to figure it out and no one was free enough to care about this place.
Even Sectum and Salvan could not do anything about their troops as they felt they had a much bigger problem on their hands.
The Union Sect did not respect their agreement which they would definitely show along with the rubrum squad and left half of the resource points, no matter what happened about Sam. They already knew that Sam was dangerous and they did not want to give up the deal until his death.
So, they made a clause that even if Sam didn't die, the end of their deal was done because they lured him to the hill, so they demanded that they get what they asked for. The sect agreed at that time, but now they clearly broke the deal because they were not prepared to face the losses of around six hundred people for free.
They might be sect bosses at this layer, but the real boss was somewhere inside Dragon Loka and everything they did was based on his words and plans. They have no real voice. And they did not plan to honor their words from the very beginning.
All they did was make some changes.
Sam reached second place, where Salvan tried his hardest to get the victory.
They fought in the mountains and the terrain was good for far-flung guerrilla warfare and both sides did just that.
The two sides only tried to weaken each other as they sent small groups across the mountain to the enemy camp and tried to take each other down.
Sam wanted to take advantage of this and wanted to make a mess. Although he could not use the undead formation here as the result would be extremely disappointing, he had other plans.
He could only use this to raise his shadow.
Sam took out all his shadows and began to deal with the small group of five to ten people within the mountains and he didn't just stop there, first, he did, he made your shadow devour the energy of the corpse shadow and stored it within the divine dimension, before turning them into undead.
Sam could not control these undead normally if there were no mental connections, but things were different after he made it in his divine dimension, they could not do anything there.
He gathered such undead and after accumulating a decent amount, he went near the rubrum imperial camp and released them all.
They won't last long as there is no energy supply, but Sam doesn't need it as long as his shadow, he and his beasts join in as well.
He unleashed all of his beasts, including Mia as they hunted the camp like crazy.
Not only did Sam fight, he made each corpse into an undead after making the nearby shadows absorb the shadow energy.
Immediately, the entire camp was filled with corpses emitting death energies that were also absorbed by the shadows.
He once again collected the corpses and threw them into this divine dimension before moving to another camp.
He repeats the process and due to the higher numbers, he lets the owls out and makes them help him clean up.
Continuous success almost convinced Sam to keep improving his necromancy, almost because Sam was never in top shape during battle because every undead he created spent his energy on creation itself.
Although, there was no mental connection and a continuous supply of energy, the sheer number of creations made him feel tired. But this was the best way to increase his shadow energy and also clear the battlefield quite quickly.
Just as he cleared two battlefields and his last target of the Rubrum kingdom, the Sectum also felt that there was something strange with the entire situation as his two troops disappeared just like that.
He was not prepared to take the risk and wanted to talk to the Union sect boss as he planned to withdraw after completing the deal. He had too much at stake in the current situation and did not want to retreat without any benefits.
He had been trying to meet with the boss of the union sect for the past two days, but he couldn't just contact them because they had deliberately ignored him.
But at this moment, even the Union sect boss felt that something was amiss as the two battlegrounds they had concentrated on most simply disappeared.
Inevitably they feel targeted but they still have no choice but to continue with their plans. They know better than anyone how much competition they have to endure. Their orders are to ensure this civil war happens no matter the cost and they will. If they were to back down for losing and report back for advice, there was no way they could get away without punishment.
So, they received a request from the Sectum and arranged the place and time of the meeting, but Sam who knew nothing had already continued his plan.
Due to their meeting plans, the two forces were in a temporary truce to withdraw.
And Sam who did not know why this calmness did not bother to refuse such an opportunity and a group of undead attacked the tent of the Sect camp that night along with the shadows as they killed many soldiers added some more undead.
The camp immediately turned chaotic and soon reached the tent of Sect which was the center of it all.
He was surrounded by undead all around him, but not too much at the moment as many lost energy and became cold corpses again.
As the Sectum began to fight with the undead, Sam slowly walked towards him kicking some undead who wanted to move at him.
When the Sectum saw Sam, his eyes widened and he felt like he understood what was happening.
He had almost forgotten that he was in the middle of a battle and even the sound of his dying army slowly did not wake him up from his stupor. He just pointed at Sam and tried to say something. But no words came out of his mouth.
Sam let the undead follow him as they slowly bit him, but he did not let him die just like that. Just before she could stand it no longer, she healed him.
This makes the Sect cry out in grief as she cries, cries, curses, and begs Sam to kill her.
"If you answer some questions, then I'll let you go."
"Y... Yeah." yeah."
"Who's plan set me up? Your plan or Union sect?"
"It's mine." Even though he knew that he might receive torture again, he did not have enough thoughts to lie at this moment.
"Where did you contact the boss? How can I meet them?"
"They contacted me directly, I didn't know how to get in touch directly with him, all I could do was try through their right hand. But there's a way for you to meet them."
Sam just stood there waiting for him to finish.
"We're arranging a meeting tomorrow morning and it's inside a cave three kilometers to the Northwest. That's why we're having a temporary ceasefire."
Sam nodded and finished him off as he promised as he let the undead slowly disappear, before collecting a few more corpses.
He returned to the hiding place while thinking about what to do. He decided whether he should contact the boss and deal with him or go to the base and destroy it. After some time, he thought of an idea and returned to the cave first.
He took out Murali's inscription brush as he started etching all the walls of the cave and he spent four hours like that. It was almost dawn when he finished and he immediately slipped out and reached the camp once more.
He sat in a hiding place waiting for one of the two things to happen. One thing was that the soldiers at the base knew their opponent was dead and another one was a signal from the cave he was visiting.
The first is unlikely to happen because the ceasefire is still in place. But after an hour, Sam smiled as this happened.
He immediately continued his usual plan as he unleashed a wave of undead into this place. For the next two and a half hours, all he could hear were howls and shouts as they shouted their final words.
Sam sent the corpses to the second floor of the divine dimension. Generally, corpses would not be suitable to make them undead after a day and he might not need an undead for the next day. But he was unwilling to let them go and he used this cheat to keep them fresh.
