THE REBIRTH OF A GENIUS. CREATOR/DESTROYER

THE REBIRTH OF A GENIUS. CREATOR/DESTROYER
Chapter 22. I Think This Status Is Enough, Right?

Sam closed his eyes as he began to spread his spiritual senses. He felt like his consciousness was slipping onto the platform and an illusionary space appeared in his eyes. There was a human silhouette in front of Sam's sight. 'The 'Spirit tower' of thought appeared in his mind

"What's your name?" the spirit of the tower asked in a neutral voice.

"Sam."

"Imagine a suitable scenario to use your product and use it. Show his ability to the maximum. If you can't use your own product, you can imagine a Cultivator with the requirements and use it. The test starts now." The spirit tower said and disappeared.

Sam looked at his hand. There was a golden metallic object in his hand, it was clearly what he made just a moment ago. Sam closed his eyes and imagined a scenario..............

It's been an hour since Sam started his evaluation. But he didn't open his eyes. The crowd was getting impatient.

"How long will he take?" Someone said in the crowd.

"Yes, it's been a long time."

"Maybe he failed and just pretended." This time Leonard said. But he himself did not believe his words. He was stunned from Sam's performance. He only hoped that he would fail at the last step. There was someone who also hoped that he would fail. It was receptionist. He had forgotten about that bet a long time ago. He was a first rank Artisan and his cultivation was at the peak of Acolyte. She became an Artisan recently at the age of 18. This is a big achievement. Generally, Craftsmen use the test at the final stage. But now he was looking at someone, who was in the early stages of Acolyte and working with higher ranked materials. The pride he had broken into pieces. That's why, he wants Sam to fail, for his view of the world to prove true. But there was a hunch that said he gave up hope and it was true.

The platform brightened suddenly as Sam grabbed his hand. A screen on the wall near the platform, showing the results of the evaluation.

'Product name-Unknown

Product type Weapon

Creator-Sam

Ranking of weapons-Rank 2' Under the inscription there are nine gold stars.

The crowd became an uproar. The expressions of the people who wanted Sam to fail burned with embarrassment. Sam's friends jumped in excitement. Sam graduated and he is not yet 15 years old. It is a great achievement to become a ranked Artisan at his age. All knowledgeable people looked at the stars below the rank.

Sam understood what the stars meant. Weapons of the same rank were also divided in quality and shown with stars. The more stars the more incredible the weapon. One star is the lowest and 10 stars the highest. If a weapon had 10 stars, it meant that its strength could be compared to the next ranked weapon. The badge of a craftsman also contained the stars. For example, the head of this tower tower is a Rank 2 craftsman with 6 stars. Just as Sam was deep in thought, another strand of letters came.

'Exam Evaluation

Candidate-Sam

Result-pass

Rank - Pseudo Ranked 2nd Artisan weapon Ranked 3rd Artisan Scholar.'

Seeing the result, Sam grinned arrogantly. He wanted this result. Pseudo rank 2 means, if an artisan of a lower cultivation level can make a higher rank then he will earn the title of Pseudo rank. That meant, as long as he reached the required cultivation rank, then he could become rank 2. Then with a blinding light, a circular platform appeared on the square platform where Sam's weapon along with two circular badges that were 3 times larger than an ordinary coin, was, one is a gold badge with a symbol that shows the number 3 in this world language on it and below 3 there is a scroll symbol. It is the symbol of his Artisan of the Wind. This was his Scholar Craftsman badge. The other badge is black. Usually, the badge of a silver-colored weapon craftsman. Black indicates pseudo-ranking. The badge has a number 2 on it. There was a hammer symbol and a fire symbol under the numbers. Behind the two badges, there's Sam's name.

Sam took the gun and kept it in the ring. Then he slowly picked up the badge and looked at it carefully. There are nine stars on the Weaponry craftsman badge. Shows his position as a higher level among other rank 2 crafters. Sam was proud of himself. Sam slowly picked up the badge and walked back to the table.

Sam put on his vest and coat and started walking towards the mold and started breaking it. There were several, products such as glass tubes and small metal products that he collected in his storage. Sam tidied the place up slowly. Keeping the ground and the remains, he even cleaned the grinding stones. He cleaned until the room was back to how it was before he came.

Sam slowly walked out of the room and smiled towards Philip and his friends and walked near them. Sam took out a badge and asked Philip with a smile.

"I think this status is enough. No?"

"You hid yourself too deeply." Philip finally said.

"Yes. That's right." said Paul slowly.

"You better give me a discount when I come to you." Marvin speaks.

"Damn it, Sam. How can you hide the fact that you are an Artisan from me? Don't worry, I'll be generous and forgive you if you're.hmph" Freya was about to say something shameless again, but Haley covered her mouth with her hands.

Haley slowly looked towards and said in a very low voice. "Congratulations." Therehewas. There is no long talk and only short and straight forward.

All the other spectators in the crowd were just staring at them as they chatted. No one wanted to interrupt; no one wanted to leave either. After all, it is not every day that one will find a miracle and no one wants to miss the opportunity to talk to him and try to make a connection. They were all Apprentices and rank 1 craftsmen. So, having connections with higher ranked artisans is always beneficial. But no one has the guts to interrupt. After all, they were all just standing and watching the show, when Sam got ill-treated at the reception. Not only did they not interrupt, but also let the receptionist do and say whatever she wanted. Now they had no face to start the conversation.

"Excuse me sir." Someone finally approached. That person was none other than the head of the tower. Sam turned and looked at her. He didn't reply at all. Looking at the expression of the tower chief Sam did not know what to say.

Of course, Sam wouldn't be polite. He really did not like the Artisan tower. Although the mistake of one rude and unreasonable person cannot represent the character of every person who is in the tower, the, what bothered her the most was the fact that no one tried to stop the receptionist when she was unreasonable. Even the head of this tower also came last and acted as an intermediary rather than stopping the woman from being rude.

Sam immediately ignored the Tower's head and immediately walked towards the receptionist and looked at his face. The change in the face of the receptionist is funny. There was no trace of arrogance that he had shown a few hours before. His head bowed in embarrassment and he gritted his teeth as he stared at the floor.

Sam stood in front of him. Feeling that someone was nearby, he looked up and saw Sam slowly staring at him. There was a snob on his face. His eyes looked at him directly without hiding the cold raw arrogance. He looked at his chest and saw a golden-coloured badge and there was a number 1 engraved on it with a hammer and fire symbol underneath. He looked into his eyes again and this time there was also contempt along with arrogance in his eyes.

He looked at the eyes that were filled with raw arrogance and humiliation and felt his pride crumble. No one looked at him like that in all his eyes. This was the first time anyone had looked at him like that. Since childhood everyone around him looked at him with a look of adoration and admiration. She was praised for her relentless beauty and talent. Wherever he was, there were many people who looked at him with envy. But now there was someone right in front of him who looked disdainfully at him. Endless humiliation.

"I …." Just as he was about to say something, Sam cut it off.

"Pay" said Sam, stretching out his hand. Everyone around was dumbfounded. They imagined countless scenarios, but never this one. The young lady also became confused as she recalled the bet.

"Young master, why don't we let the past pass? So, please give it a little leeway." An elder from the Artisan tower said. Looking at the young Sam, he wanted to mediate with subtle talk.

Sam looked at the elder and said with an amused expression. "Why should I?" The elder was confused by the answer. 'Did he ask for a reason?' The elder thought and looked at the head of the tower with a hesitant expression. Then the head of the tower himself spoke up.

"Mr Sam. Kelly is my daughter and I failed to teach her properly. So, please give me a little face." He said with a soft tone. "Kelly, I'm sorry." Then he shouted towards the receptionist.

Kelly felt her body shudder at her father's sudden scream. Tears threatened to come out of his eyes. Looking at his expression, no one could relate to his arrogant self a few hours ago. Everyone felt their hearts tighten as they watched her beauty. Well, everyone except one.

Sam looked at her with the same cold gaze. When he saw his handsome face and cold expression, his mood became even gloomier. Kelly can't talk. He wanted to say something, but he could not get the words out of his mouth. He, did not know if it was due to the shame of being angry.

"Haha. Did you see that? he doesn't even have anything to say. I'm sick of waiting here." Sam said with a cold laugh. He looked at Kelly and repeated. "Pay." He still didn't answer.

"What's? Do you think I have all day? Pay it." Sam asked as his tone became rough. Kelly almost cried. He saw her face that was almost crying. Then he turned towards the head of the tower and spoke. "Are you not an intermediary? Why are you quiet?" Listening to him everyone felt like he wasn't kidding. They first thought that he would only find trouble to clean up the humiliation and make a fuss here with his status as a higher ranked Artisan. But does he really ask for money? But it's still a problem for them. Because even with the income of the Artisan tower, it was not easy to pay 90,000 spirit stones. They need to explain it to their superiors. So, the only result is to let it pay for itself. And that was clearly impossible for a girl who had just become an Artisan.

"Sir Sam, what if I paid for it?" ask the head of the tower. Although he said without hesitation, he felt his heart bleed inside. He first thought that, since he had a conflict with his daughter and made her work at the reception, he would cheer her up a bit just by brokering a bet. He didn't really think about betting. His initial assumption was that the young man was trying to bite off more than he could chew. So, after he failed, he would only take the entrance fee and return the rest by convincing his daughter as well as teaching the man a lesson on his behalf. Even if the young man became a rank 1 craftsman, he could directly use his seniority as a rank 2 craftsman to mediate the conflict and make him not joke around. That was the original plan. But the young man did not follow the script. He had just taken the examination and was out of his rank. These 90000 spirit stones were the savings from the past two years he had made. Now they're all gone.

"Oh, did he use your mouth to be arrogant in front of me?" Sam asked a question that confused him. 'Now you are completely unreasonable' the head of the Tower heard a thought in his heart. But he forced a smile. Then Sam said again.

"Forget it. Just return my spirit stones and send me a set of equipment in the room." Sam said as he pointed to the room where he had just taken the exam. Hearing this the head of the tower heaved a sigh of relief. Comprehension is not a problem at all. Especially for Artisan who was ranked second there was a significant discount to the basic equipment of the workshop. Although he had to take out some spirit stones, he did not have to go broke. Sam took out a piece of paper and wrote something and gave it to the head of the tower.

"This is my place. Submit it after Starwood academy acceptance is complete. But you better keep this place a secret." Sam then turned around and started walking. Then he stopped and looked at Kelly and then continued walking away. There was a look of indifference in his eyes. The previous intense humiliation also disappeared. It was as if his eyes were telling him. "You don't even deserve my insults." This left a bitter taste and ended up crying. His father came forward and took him into his arms. He had just lost his head due to impulse. He never wanted to vent it on a random person who had nothing to do with his bad mood. But it happened over his impulsive decision and now the random person was trampling on his pride and even ignoring his existence. He was amazed by her appearance and the unique skills she displayed, but he never got a chance to express her admiration. All he got was an intense indifference in his eyes, the first time in his life he wanted someone's recognition. He wanted to admit his actions, but he was scared at the last minute. He hates himself. Both the father and daughter just stood there in each other's arms as everyone left them alone.
