Chapters 74. Second Contract

Jack finally sighed and asked Sam. "What should we do now?"

"Don't ask me. Revenge is yours. I'm just here to help you and to share the wealth. If you want to continue your revenge, I'll help you. If you want to back off, that's all. " Sam replied in a calm tone.

Jack pondered for a few minutes and said. "Do you have a plan?" Sam smiled at the question and answered.

"After two days, we'll meet here and I'll tell you the plan. Meanwhile, you go and buy some black clothes, masks, and other items to disguise." Both stood up and walked out. When they opened the room door, they saw Kelly standing there holding two cards in her hand. When he saw Jack was there too, his expression became awkward.

Jack was also confused by his reaction and looked at him with a puzzled look, not understanding the situation at all. Then Philip who was hiding in the corner came out and said with a frown on his face.

"Jack, I have something to talk about." Jack excused himself and walked towards Philip.

"What do you want to say?" ask Jack. Philip rolled his eyes and said.

"I never thought you were so strong." Then he dragged her away. Kelly heaved a sigh of relief and looked at Sam before handing over one of the invitation cards. Sam took it and opened it while hearing Kelly speak.

"Hawk gave this invitation. There's a banquet in a week at the Count's house." Her voice is sweet as usual.

"Thank you." Sam thanked her and saw her faint smile. He still felt guilty for what happened, so he could not look him in the eye directly. Kelly spoke first.

"Sam, you said you'd do anything to make it up to me, right?" Sam was startled for a moment before nodding his head. Then he continued.

"I have something to ask you." Kelly said while bowing her head. Then he continued. "Will you take me as your partner to the banquet?" When Sam heard this he was stunned for a moment.

He never expected that the request Kelly would make would be like this. He can ask for anything. After all Kelly wasn't stupid enough to not understand Sam's future prospects. He could use this promise to get a lot in the future, but he asked her to take him on as a date. He doesn't even know what to say.

"You sure Kelly?" ask Sam again.

"Yes." Yeah." Kelly replied firmly.

Sam sighed and said. "You don't have to use my promise like this. I'll still consider you my date for tonight. You should use this promise for something better. Who knows, maybe in the future I could even award the entire empire to you if you ask." Sam said a little joking. Both are walking down. While Kelly returned to her room and Sam walked out of the mansion.

After a while, he entered the Vickers store. He looked at the middle-aged man with his mischievous expression sitting on a chair at the counter as if he was waiting for his visit.

"Oh, welcome to my favorite customer." Vickers said he saw Sam.

Sam did not reply and simply walked towards the counter. Before Vickers could speak, he said.

"I want a Crystal Bamboo plant." Sam immediately made his request, without making another statement. He still felt wary of this strange man and he didn't really want to spend time with this man.

"May I know why you want it?" ask Vickers with a smile. He wondered what Sam would do with the crystal bamboo. He has kept a close eye on Sam ever since he came to his shop for the first time and he has a vague idea of what Sam's goal is. But he had no idea what Sam would do with the crystal bamboo. But Sam gave no answer and just kept quiet.

"Okay, then. How much do you want?" Vickers resigned himself that there would be no answer.

"As much as you can. There is no upper limit. When will they be ready?"

"Go back tomorrow." Sam left as soon as he got the answer.

He went to the cave and saw that Sky was still undergoing evolution. Yanwu watched Sky, while Watt and Falck were cultivating.

When Sam saw Watt, he was a little surprised. "You broke through?" Sam asked but he knew for sure it was a fact.

Watt opened his eyes and looked at Sam excitedly. He immediately stood up and said. "Yes, boss. I managed to break through. I am Acolyte Level 1 now." Sam could hear the sense of accomplishment from Watt's voice. He nodded with satisfaction and said.

"Rest for today. After Sky's evolution is over, you'll stay with me. We're leaving this cave. As for martial techniques, you don't have to worry about that. I have some small tasks to do. . After that, I will train you personally. Now, go and buy yourself some beautiful fabrics and have some fun." Sam said as he passed through many spirit stones. Watt takes them and leaves with Falck.

Sam then takes the Panther out of the Dimension. The panther is large, at least four times that of a normal panther on earth. When they saw Yanwu, they immediately forgot their size and immediately jumped towards him. After playing around for a while, they all calmed down.

Sam then started measuring the panther. Along the legs, neck, etc. After he finished measuring, he took out a piece of paper and started drawing something.

Time passed, and at night, Watt returned with some food. He is shocked to see two large panthers in the cave, but the surprise is gone after he sees them acting like cute kittens with Sam. Snoring and scratching to attract Sam's attention.

Sam bought this for two purposes. The first was that he needed to make armor for the panther. The second was that he had a plan to make a new toy and this was very important to deal with this Black Pool.

After finishing with the metal, he went shopping again. This time, however, he bought herbs that were used to make pills and potions. But Sam didn't just buy fire potions or wind elements. Instead, he bought herbs from almost all of the available elements. At the end of the day, he bought herbs related to fire, wind, water, wood, dark attributes. He even bought all the herbs that had neutral attributes. But one thing that is common in all of these herbs is that they all affect such as restoring spiritual energy, increasing cultivation speed, purifying spiritual energy.

All the apothecaries throughout the city were filled with excitement while the people who needed this potion were frustrated. But Sam doesn't care about them and only buys everything he needs, before he goes to Vickers' store.

"Is my crystal bamboo plant ready?" Sam asked as soon as he entered the store.

"This. Take a look. There are about 120 bamboo plants." Vickers gave a pouch to Sam. This is one of the inventions of artisan scholars. It's called "the Flora's room." Used to keep plants alive.

Sam took the pouch and examined the space with his spiritual senses and after confirming there were 120, he asked for the price.

"12000 spirit stones." Sam passed that number and returned to the cave. He then checked his finances and smiled bitterly. He only had 200000 spirit stones left. He really spent a lot of money in these few days. He then decided that he needed to find a way to obtain some spirit stones as soon as possible.

He looked at Sky who was still in the middle of the formation. He sensed that the roc aura had changed completely. It turned into more primordial, more tyrannical, more majestic than ever. He also noticed changes in the feathers that had a new shine found on them.

"Looks, the process was faster than I thought. Sky might be ready by morning." Sam muttered and leaned against the wall to sleep.

Sam was awakened by Yanwu's call. It's still dawn.

Sam soon awoke from his daydream. He immediately saw the formation. There was a huge roc standing with its head held high while spreading its wings. The brown feathers had a faint golden luster on them. The Sky Sovereign Roc stood there gracefully.

When Sam woke up. He rubbed his head against Sam's body gently to show his gratitude.*screech* [Thank you Sam].

Sam heard Sky thank him. He patted his head with a smile.

After that Sam took a step back and started making hand seals while shouting something. After a while, a rune emerged from Sam's body and flew towards Sky.

Sky was standing there with his eyes closed. As the runes approached, something seemed to be activated within his body, before long runes similar to those that came out of Sam's body came out from Sky's body and shot towards Sam.

The two of them were just standing there as runes entered each other's bodies. Both of them felt their energies fuse together and increase at the same time.

After a while, Yanwu merged from the side and the three of them formed a triangle. Sam stood up like a knot.

Inside Sam's transparent spiritual core body where there were two wisps of golden flames and golden light, there was condensation of spiritual energy as a small tornado formed, indicating the wind element. At the same time, there was an exchange between the three of them. The wind element energy from Sky entered Sam's body and was converted into fire and light elements before going to Yanwu.

The incoming fire and light element energy from Yanwu was converted into wind element energy and entered Sky's body.

They noticed the superior aura of Yanwu and Sky and paid their respects obediently. They acknowledge their superiors by prostrating.

The three of them opened their eyes at the same time, sensing a new wave of energy being discovered.

"MUAHHH..."

One person and two animals looked up as they roared in unison.
