As soon as they heard the shouts from their commander, they came out of their shock. They thought so much about it that Sam would not make the decision to fight the battalion and if he did, they thought that they would be able to deal with it only by a large amount.
Now, only they understand that they judge Sam by their personal standards, the man is way above their league. He's in his own league.
The battle only started two minutes ago and their casualties had already doubled.
They moved quickly to execute their battle formation.
Generally, each company consisting of fifty soldiers would have their own battle formation based on their basic attributes.
In fact, companies will be created with a number of similar attributes mostly or some compatible attributes that work better when they are together.
Only, in rare cases, would they create an army company with random and numerous attributes.
Sam could see that there were more than six companies created based on their attributes that could utilize their battle formations.
As for the rest, their members went down to count.
Sam stopped attacking as he looked at the army formation with great interest.
If the soldiers matched and their fighting spirit and coordination reached the limit, the formation would be very effective and some phenomena would appear to represent that state.
Otherwise, the formation was simply a combination attack tactic.
He was interested because, he hoped to see a true formation that could cause that phenomenon.
And his hope came true.
The two companies emit energy from wind and earth elements with high concentrations.
Sam looked at them as he observed the spiritual energy becoming dense and taking shape.
Eagles-shaped wind element energy and earth element energy in the form of brown gorillas. They were both extremely large and over thirty feet tall.
Sam's interested.
This is a battle spirit formation.
When the battle intent of the soldiers was strong enough and they coordinated in the most efficient way with a single thought process, this battle spirit would be formed.
This battle formation was also designed by the formation master. They will choose the right soldier position to get the desired fighting spirit and coordination will depend on the commander and the soldier unity.
There are other types of battle spirits that were not designed before and are more spontaneously formed due to the collective effort of the soldiers and their coordinated fighting style and even the rarer fighting spirit is, indeed, a battle spirit, individual battle spirit.
When an individual's fighting intent was so high that it could rival an army, they could also condense fighting spirit based solely on their fighting style.
But for that to happen it must meet the right match and give each other enough pressure and also have an incredible will to fight.
Sam wanted to know if he would condense a battle spirit but he had yet to find a suitable match. That was why he looked at the two spirits excitedly.
After they condensed completely, Sam grinned and said in a loud voice.
"Because, you two are quite an interesting team, let's do a satisfying battle. I'll get rid of you guys who left first."
Sam quickly disappeared along with his hoverboard.
He floated above the soldiers in the remaining formations who did not even complete the formation or create a battle spirit and the other individual members.
One could see a circular hole under the hoverboard and a substance filled with highly concentrated spiritual energy was dropped over the crowd.
Sam was like a flash of light on top of them as he moved while knocking out the tiny unstable energy cells.
The Vice General looked at these energy cells for the first time, but he understood the level of danger they had as soon as he observed the turmoil of spiritual energy they were causing.
*BOOM**BOOM***BOOM**BOOM*
Immediately many explosions occurred and as the dust subsided, all they could see were the broken corpses spreading throughout the battleground.
Within half a minute, Sam destroyed the entire battalion. There are only two companies left.
They howl in sadness. They looked at Sam with great hatred. They finally understood how powerful Sam was and all this time he was just toying with them.
They knew they were going to die once Sam wanted them to. But they still want revenge. If they could not defeat him, they would at least hit him once.
Sam looked at the two spirits and he took out the Reaper sword. He wanted to try out the new technique he had thought of recently as well as test the Battle Spirit's ability.
When the deputy general and the regiment commander saw the blood iron sword, they remembered something.
News about the candidate who slaughtered the noble family with three hundred members and made a sword out of their blood.
They assumed that the news was an exaggerated rumor. But when they saw the blood iron sword and the blood aura it emitted, they were stunned and immediately understood who the candidate was.
So, it's not a rumor. Sam was the one who did that. No wonder.
It's the mind in their minds. If the commander of the Regiment knew that Sam was that person and the news was real, he would not provoke him and would not propose this battle.
But it's too late to regret now.
Sam flew higher and higher into the sky and after reaching over forty feet, he dropped himself with his head down from his hoverboard before saving it.
He held the reaper sword with both hands as he swooped towards the Eagle spirit that was approaching him.
The kinetic energy increased as he moved downwards but the sword in his hand did not even shake once from the wind. Instead, he gathered wind element energy from the surrounding wind currents as he condensed it into a sword blade.
As the power of his fall increased, right before he reached the Eagle spirit, he sliced the sword in midair.
A huge wind blade was slashed down as it tore apart the Eagle spirit as well as the Gorilla spirit beneath it.
The blades of wind swept across the ground like a typhoon as the soldiers who were in the two formations spewed blood and some even fainted directly.
Sam didn't fall on the ground. He took out Harbinger before he could crash and moved quickly as he floated away from the crash.
After the dust was gone, they could all see a huge vertical crater formed by wind blades or rather wind blades made by sword slashes.
The soldiers are scattered.
But Sam's not entirely okay. He's a little exhausted. He took out a few spirit stones as he absorbed the energy as quickly as possible.
The absorption rate is quite high, so the skin color returns a little.
Sam looked around and then found a sturdy stage used for individual duels.
He walked towards the stage and stood in the middle of it.
He took out a fire energy cell. This one was large made of several fire element spirit stones, completely unlike the one he sold.
Sam closed his eyes, and fire element energy flew out of the cell and started burning the stage.
The audience only watched the scene as Sam stood amidst the golden flames.
The flames were burning violently and soon they could see the stage melting in several places.
After a few minutes, the fire was extinguished and the audience could see that the stage melted in a strange shape.
This is actually Sam's double S signature.
Sam walked towards the Regiment commander and the Deputy General.
"From today onwards, these are the brands I marked in your area. If you remove it before defeating me, I will come every day to fight.
This is the symbol that indicates that you were marked as trash by me."
He then looked at the fallen soldiers. He was not really all-out and had no intention to kill throughout the battle.
Many soldiers were seriously injured but most of them still survived. In fact, it would be hard to tell when they would recover.
Even the energy cells he detonated had the lowest quality that would produce the least damage.
"Other times, think before you shake your tail blindly like a dog and do someone else's bidding. If the same thing happened again, the result would not be the same."
The regimental commander said nothing and simply lowered his head in embarrassment. What Sam said was true. He should not help the general to satisfy his personal grudges and target a Beginner by abusing his profession.
Sam started walking away and he suddenly remembered something and rushed back. He stretched out his hand and said.
"Pay."
