Sam bathed himself in the fire.
He discovered the ability to use fire directly for his consumption through guesswork. He only destroyed the flames using his manipulating abilities and used his absorption ability to make them his own.
After all, fire was basically also a form of spiritual energy and fire did not have much of a component in itself. So, it was easy for him to do so.
But will there be fireworks for him this way? In a sense, yes, but a burning object that acts as fuel must contain more spiritual energy in order to provide real benefits to Sam.
The entire expanse of banyan and the animals within it including the parasites consisted of a large amount of spiritual energy that would be burnt into the fire and become Sam's food.
As he was busy devouring the flames, someone other than Sam's group approached them after seeing the huge flames and smoke.
They were none other than the people from the thunder god temple.
There were only five of them, the latter did not travel with them. When they saw the huge fire, they immediately shot towards it. They felt that the two sides were fighting and from where they were, it was very possible for Sam and his friends to fight the beasts.
They felt they could take advantage of the clash of both sides.
But as they approach the fire, Arthur feels something is amiss. The intensity of the flame was too high and he could feel the heat wave from afar.
As he thought they were slowing down their steps and starting to walk carefully.
But they are not the only ones attracted by the fire, some animals from the habitat are starting to move. This huge commotion was not something that the savage beasts who took this forest as their home could ignore.
Sam was still devouring the energy completely. He's in a trance-like state.
After absorbing most of the energy, only a small amount of fire was left that was of little use to him. The bodies of the beasts and the banyan tree had already been eaten.
Just as he was about to move towards the tower again, he saw some ferocious beasts and the Thunder god temple. He did not have much time to waste but it would be difficult to avoid confrontation. He looked around and turned towards where the tower was.
"Wait if there is a confrontation. I'll be back as soon as possible." He's not too worried. Since the ferocious beasts that came here came from habitats acting as scouts to check the situation, they would not start a battle without orders from their tribe leaders unless they were attacked.
Confrontations would occur with the people from the thunder god temple.
There were over fifteen skeletons within the ashes of the entire expanse of banyan and each skeleton represented a treasure. Even with Sam present, there was a high possibility of a confrontation.
From Sam's observation, there was an opportunity to increase cultivation when they entered the cultivation legacy because Philip had a substantial improvement in a short period of time.
Arthur had entered the inheritance as well and there was a high chance he could increase his cultivation and there would be treasures on him as well.
This increases the likelihood of a battle erupting here. So, Sam was a little worried. Jack is not here and Watt is not so strong at the moment. Hawk and Philip probably wouldn't have been able to survive if Arthur really had a great increase in strength with his teammates.
Sam was moving at an increasing speed at his extreme limit.
He crashed into the tower and at this moment, Jack had already stopped cultivating.
"Follow this route."
Sam said as he pointed to the newly created fire crater. Jack did not ask for any details and started moving.
Sam sat down and cultivated after he took out Yanwu and the others.
He began to integrate the power as quickly as he could. This time, his energy was much greater than the previous time. He closed his eyes and began to make his energy his own. This time because the barrier between Level-7 and Level-8 was not too difficult to overcome, so there was not much effort, and it became easy.
But he soon encountered trouble. The energy is too much. He reached the Peak stage in a short period of time.
The beast could not take it anymore.
Sam once again looked to where he was back. He could not help but feel frustrated all of a sudden.
But right, now, he had to deal with that excess energy as soon as possible.
Sam began to concentrate on the energy and tried to compress it. He had to keep it for a while so as not to damage his body.
For that, he could only do one thing. He had to find a way to release all his energy.
After which, he gave up on compressing it and just tried to stabilize it.
He slowly started moving out of the tower and followed the crater to return to the burning banyan expanse.
Meanwhile, Jack reached the place and so did the people from the thunder god temple.
Arthur and his four other teammates had already confronted them.
They were already in a combat-ready situation and with Jack added on, they had enough confidence to defend it.
Arthur's teammates burn with desire. The beast skeleton, two legacies with Philip, and one inheritance with Jack. They were sure that if they could get this and stay safe in the tower until the last week just coming for the inheritance, they could even avoid Sam.
After all, there was nothing to say that Sam would not be the one to be on the defensive side if they were to completely gang up on him because they had more heritage and with this new edition of the treasure, it was, they can try to defend against Sam perfectly if not defend against him.
These thoughts flashed through Arthur's mind and with a smile, he moved. Not even a second did he stop and think how the ferocious beasts and expanse were burning up to this state and what the crater meant.
Sam's team defended against them quite well despite having fewer people.
Jack and Philip are not soft permission. As for Watt. They had to first capture him if they wanted to attack him.
The silver wind is not there for show.
They survive and Watt even deals with the skeletons in the ashes throwing them into storage one by one.
Jack even played them.
Sam doesn't know the exact situation. But he was getting used to holding the energy and once he got it, he let out an omen and blew up the crater once again.
He appeared on the spot with an explosion and Arthur and the others were stunned for a moment. They didn't expect Sam to be back so soon.
When he saw the entire skeleton, he forgot to think about where Sam went and just rejoiced because he was not present at the moment.
Now that he had only thought about what kind of situation he was in and sensed a large amount of energy flowing, he immediately ordered to retreat.
Sam did not release them that easily, he followed them into their territory behind them, but he did not intercept or attack them.
The real goal was to scare them while choosing the next target.
Why would he waste this free energy on these people because he could defeat them with his normal strength?
He only frightened them and why chasing that far was that he could find an early Level 5 stage beast in their territory and could deal with it with an excessive amount of energy.
The chase lasts for a few minutes until Sam stops in his tracks and takes the diversion. There was a large python coiling on a giant tree. When the python saw Sam who was full of energy, its eyes lit up and immediately went into action.
Sam let the python wrap around it for a few seconds and after it finished coiling, he instantly expended all the excess energy while holding the throat of the python in his hand.
Just like that, the python actually burned right in his hands without having a chance to escape from the predicament.
After clearing the ashes, he saw the skull of the python where the spatial ring was present and left the place.
