Chapters 14. Day in the Forest (2)

As soon as Marvin saw Sam, he heaved a sigh of relief. He thinks something happened to him. But then another thought came to his mind. 'What has he been doing all this time?' Marvin walked up to Sam and asked slowly. "What happened to you Sam? Is something wrong? If you don't come back in 2 minutes, I'll call the team to look for you." asked Marvin.

"It's a big deal" Sam said indifferently. Marvin immediately choked upon hearing Sam's reply. He just wanted to bang his head against a tree. 'That fight is a big deal. If you just want to do something yourself, just say it. Why such a sad excuse?' thought in the heart. 

Now she clearly understands how Sam feels when they give her shameless excuse to stay at her house. They started walking again. But suddenly Sam asked a question. "How did you come to the village?"

This question confused Marvin a bit but he still answered. "Of course, we came on horseback. You don't expect to walk from the city, do you."

"Where are the horses?" ask Sam.

"They're at the inn." replied Marvin. Sam immediately stopped walking and looked at Marvin with a frown. 'How are you nobles? You are all shameless people. You obviously have a place to stay in the inn but stay in my house to bother me.' Sam thought in his heart. If Marvin heard this, he would instantly curse him because Sam hadn't even stayed home since yesterday and when he stayed, he was thinking about his own business. Sam shook his head and started walking again. He suddenly thought of something and said to Yanwu.

"Yanwu, find the burning bulls in the forest and bring two of them. I need a horse." Yanwu nodded his head and with a huge screech he flew into the sky and disappeared into the horizon. When Marvin heard the screech, he turned around abruptly only to see that Yanwu was flying at high speed. He was clearly dumbfounded. He did not seem to hear what Sam said to Yanwu. Otherwise, who knew what kind of expression he would have. Then the two of them started hunting slowly.

During the day Sam and Marvin show up at the meeting place of the team. Sam is seen carrying various carcasses but Marvin walks without carrying anything. Because, he had a spatial treasure that was several cubic meters wide. He offers Sam to help with the body. But met with only rejection. When they arrived at the camp, they could see the other three were waiting for them. When Sam saw all of them empty-handed, he guessed they also had spatial treasures.

After searching in the forest for over two hours, they finally narrowed down the place where the Red Fire Panther lived. But when they found the place where the panther lived, they felt very surprised by the sight.

In front of them was a black-colored panther lying in a pool of his own blood and two black-red cubs of a panther lying on both of his front claws. In the distance from them was a Red-colored panther that was clearly badly injured, fighting on its last legs with a golden tiger. Everyone clearly understood the scenario. 

Black panther is Wind Fang panther which is definitely a pair of Scarlet flame panther. The tiger, a Golden-blooded tiger, sneaks into the Panther pair as the panther is about to give birth to its cubs. Now the panther pair is clearly at a disadvantage. Although all three beats were at the same cultivation level that was Late stage Level 2, the panther pair would definitely die from a sneak attack. 

When Philip and his teammates saw this scene, their eyes sparkled with delight. Even if the tiger won the fight, it would definitely be exhausted then they could make a move and they would get three Late stage Level 2 beast corpses and also two beetle tiger cubs. They can make a lot of money. All but one of them were happy with the result. That one person was obviously Sam. When they all see the benefits. He looked at the eyes of the black beetle tiger who groaned in pain helplessly as the panther stared at his partner and his children. All Sam could see was the love of a helpless mother. The black panther licked the young ones who did not even open their eyes fully but involuntarily trembled due to the fluctuations from the fight of the two ferocious beasts. The mother panther slowly licks and groans to comfort her children.

"Don't worry." The panther is still entertaining as it slowly comforts its children. Sam's eyes reddened as he involuntarily shuddered. He was an orphan in both of his lives. Although she was cold and arrogant deep down in her heart she had always wanted that motherly love. She always wanted to have someone she could call mother and lean on her shoulders to tell her all the burdens. But he never got that. Looking at the helpless panther mother. Sam could not control himself and stepped forward. As Sam took a step forward, Philip blocked him and said hurriedly.

Sam did not even bother with him and jumped towards the Golden tiger directly and punched out with all his might in his stomach and made him fly. The red fire panther felt surprised and looked at Sam and seeing that Sam had no evil intentions, he simply nodded and turned towards the Golden blood tiger. The Golden Blood Tiger was already a little exhausted as he fought the Scarlet Fire panther. And when the tiger saw Sam, his instinct told him not to fight him at all. This was a reaction from the aura directed at him from the Golden Sun Crow bloodline. Since Sam had no hatred towards him, the Scarlet fire beetle tiger did not feel much pressure. But it fell to the ground and fell unconscious.it was in its last breath. It looked at Sam with a pleading and roaring gaze. No one understood what he was saying, only Sam understood.

"Save THEM" That's what the red fire panther said before dying. Seeing his corpse, the black panther roared sadly making Sam even more angry. He immediately jumped towards the Golden tiger again and kicked it with all his might.

*Crack*the tiger was flying again with a cracking sound as Sam's kick broke some tiger bones. Then the tiger roars furiously with an explosion of killing intent and launches an attack towards Sam and wants to bite his neck. Sam's side stepped up and threw a punch at his neck. But this time *Ding* came along when he felt like hitting metal. Sam involuntarily groaned softly and in pain upon seeing the tiger. Then he recalled something he had learned from the beastuary, the golden blood tiger was a metallic element beast. He was able to break some bones because he caught the tiger off guard. But now it's fully ready. Then he looked at the tiger coldly and the man and tiger started exchanging blows. Meanwhile, Philip and his teammates finally came to a realization.

"Should we help him?" marvin asked as he looked at Sam nervously. He was shocked by Sam's power. Although the Golden Blood tiger was injured and exhausted, its combat strength still had to be at the 5th stage of Acolyte and Sam instantly exchanged blows with his brute strength at the first stage Acolyte level. He was more afraid of Sam.

"No, don't even think about it." Philip immediately his eyes were still staring at the sight.

"Why Brother? Otherwise, he'll take all the loot if he wins." Paul said clearly not happy. Philip immediately slapped him.

"You obviously deserve that slap." Haley said as she looked at Paul with an invisible disgust and turned back towards the fight. He felt his heart beating rapidly. He was the top genius of the city with his cultivation base at the third stage Acolyte. But his pride is shattered when he sees Sam fighting. He even doubted his Genius title. Next to him was Paul's voice. "Big brother why?" He clearly did not understand why Philip hit him when he stated clearly.

"Because, we'll die at his hands if we interfere." Haley answered while pointing at Sam. Paul was surprised by his reply and turned towards Philip for confirmation. Philip nodded his head as sweat trickled down from his forehead. He clearly felt when Sam looked at him earlier. If one of them intervened in the fight, they would definitely die at the hands of Sam. As he thought about this, something happened on the battlefield. One of the tiger's claws managed to hit Sam's chest where his black coat did not cover creating claw marks as blood dripped. 

His injuries were not deep but Sam who was clearly feeling a little tired had already felt his strength drop and he immediately looked at the tiger coldly. He leaped back and looked towards the tiger as he slowly extended his hand and pointed towards it his palm was wide open. Then he suddenly gathered all the spiritual energy within his body into his palm which formed a ball. But even the surprising thing happened. The spiritual energy in the surroundings also began to gather in his palm. But he didn't think too much about it on the sidelines of the fight. 

Philip and his teammates were quite confused by his actions. They did not understand why Sam gathered all the spiritual energy into his palm. Even the golden-blooded tiger felt a little confused and looked at Sam in bewilderment. Then suddenly a spiritual energy ball that was four times the size of a basketball turned into a concentrated golden fireball. 

Everyone was dumbfounded because they did not even know what was happening. 'He is a warior mage' this thought lingers in the minds of Philip and his team-mates. Then before they came out of a daze, Sam fired a fireball right at the Golden Bloody tiger. The tiger sensed the danger from the fireball and tried to turn around and run away. But it was too late because the fireball hit him with full force. Then the tiger roared in misery as it felt all its flesh burn and blood evaporate. After a while all the flesh burned to ashes. The only thing left of the tiger is the remains of its skeleton. 

Watching this scene the four members felt their hair standing on their necks. They subconsciously looked at Sam and felt themselves trembling in fear. All their backs were soaked in sweat. Then suddenly Sam walked towards the panther mother and slowly patted her head and said. "I'll take care of them." 

The black panther roared and licked Sam's face with tears in his eyes. "Thank you" Sam heard this voice in his head. The four teammates also felt the panther mother's gratitude and guilt rising in their hearts. If they directly fought the panther and got their cubs then they wouldn't have to feel that way. Because that's the law of the jungle. But taking her cubs from the mother tiger beetle in her helpless situation was really a bit overwhelming. As they thought Sam immediately fell to the ground from exhaustion. Sam just sat on the ground and looked towards Philip and his teammates coldly.

"Don't worry. We don't have any ideas" Philip said, looking at Sam's expression. Then only Sam relaxed. Then they all suddenly heard a loud screech and while looking towards the direction. They saw a black light flashing and Yanwu appeared in front of Sam and flew in front of him carefully staring at Philip and his teammates. He sensed Sam's aura when he unleashed the final attack and thought he was in danger. Then he flew right here.

"Quiet Yanwu, they are not enemies." Sam said and Yanwu looked around and understood the crux of the situation. But neither Sam nor Yanwu were aware of the shock on the faces of Philip and his teammates. They felt the amount of pressure from Yanwu equal to Sam and they shivered. "Thank God we don't have any ideas to move on." As they thought up to this point, they involuntarily shivered again. 'This is not unusual at all.' Then suddenly, the ground shook. They saw two Blazing level 2 earth bulls were running towards them. Just as Philip and the others were getting ready for battle, they heard Sam say. "They're not enemies." They looked at him confused. Then they saw the two bulls stopping in front of Yanwu and lowered their heads, they felt surprised. Then a more shocking scene happened. As Yanwu said something to the bull, they bowed towards Sam to show some respect. Then Sam slowly stood up and said to the bull.

"Digge a hole that suits both of them." Sam said while pointing towards the two panthers. Then looked at the panther mother and took her child with both hands and said in a low voice. "I'll take care of them." Then the mother of the panther nodded with gratitude and exhaled her last breath and closed her eyes.

After a while the bull dug a hole large enough to place both panthers and slowly dragged the two panthers and placed them in the hole and began to bury them. Philip and his teammates saw this from the side and said nothing. Only Paul had an expression of unwillingness. After the bull was finished, Sam walked towards the remains of the tiger skeleton and touched it. It was a metal bone. They are made of pure metal. He kept the remains on the back of one of the bulls and slowly walked towards Philip and said. "I'll compensate you for your loss." He said and without waiting for their answer, he walked towards the village with one crow and two bulls following him. Philip and his teammates stared at his back in a daze for a while and finally rushed after him.
