After fifteen days.
Arthur and the remaining two were still tied up in the same room and to their disappointment, the corpse was not even moved, unable to access their spiritual energy because their cultivation was sealed, they almost starved to death.
Sam didn't even bother to let them eat until they were full, just giving them bread at random, he had more important things to do.
On this day, he returned with three recording crystals in his hands.
His bone throne was left there to intimidate them further, they could not see the throne clearly when they first saw, so they could not identify the material. But after fifteen days, they clearly saw what kind of material was used and it gave them goosebumps.
Arthur sweats a bucket with almost no sleep. He had been at odds with Sam many times and he was afraid of what would happen if Sam wanted to settle the score.
He might be an additional decoration for this chair.
At this moment, there was a table placed in front of them where Sam placed three recording crystals.
"Arthur, before we go over the deal, I've got something to show you and you can decide whether your information is valuable or not."
As he said, he activated the first crystal and Jack's figure appeared. Right now, he was still sitting under the waterfall. But he's not in the same condition as before.
He was enveloped by the aura of thought and although, it was a recording they could still feel his sharpness.
This is a video recorded after a week of Jack's training.
At that moment, he was fighting the waterfall with a sharp sword aura that he had developed over the course of a week.
Within a week he became the one who could only deduce one move to the point of fighting it.
While Jack was still training, suddenly someone appeared on the scene and a spear was fired towards him.
As the spear magnified, the surrounding people became alert and looked towards the attacker. There a young man stood with a grin on his face as he looked at Jack coldly.
Jack did not move, as the spear was moving towards him at a very high speed. But just before it could touch his face, he raised his hand and held the spear in place by holding the head of the spear. Its sharp end only stopped in front of its nose with a width of just a strand of hair. The palm of his hand that was holding the head of the spear was cut open and blood dripped from it.
He opened his eyes and looked at the person coldly. His face was completely filled with anger and frustration from the disturbance.
He slowly stood up and stretched his body and came out of the waterfall. His body was still wet and his pants were almost torn. His body was full of scars left behind by the waterfall.
He walked down while holding a spear with his left hand and the Black Meteorite sword in his right hand.
He observed the assailant as he watched him closely, He is a person who seems to be a Level-2 Grand realm cultivator.
"You'd better have a good reason for what you're doing." Jack said in a low voice. His throat felt hoarse because he had not spoken for more than a week.
"Or what? What are you gonna do?" The attacker laughed at him cynically.
"Well, you'll see in no time." Jack threw a spear at him and held a veiled sword at his hip.
Tension in the air increased and the attacker sneered at Jack's words. Purple lightning crackled around him as he swung his spear. He swung the spear and made a piercing motion.
Jack moved his body and avoided it smoothly. The movements are very smooth and look almost like slow movements.
But it's actually very fast. He didn't even bother to draw his sword and just dodged it.
He still remembered the time they were on the island and had to worry about being attacked by any ferocious beasts. He could not even dream about fighting a Level-5 beast let alone killing it.
Now, he would face off against someone who possessed strength equivalent to an early stage Level 5 monster.
He now understood how Sam fought with those higher than his level. He used the maximum potential his body and spiritual core could offer, his cultivation level, his techniques.
Now, with the cultivation of his Great Peak realm along with his grumpy body, he was confident of being able to defeat this fellow. In fact, he was very confident that he could visualize his victory.
But the gap in strength was not easily exceeded and the only thing he could do was rely on technique.
Jack stopped his movements after dodging the attacks repeatedly. This time he held the hilt if it was his sword and just before the spear hit it, he unsheathed it. The scabbard disappeared into the warehouse.
The sword hit the tip of the spear with a dazzling light stopping the lightning that was about to strike him, but it was not just a defense. His blade tilted slightly as he blocked it and the dazzling light that covered the sword a moment ago flew past the spear in a magic curve and hit the opponent right in the chest.
He looked at Jack who was still completely drenched. His face was calm like a calm lake. He did not even show any expression as if the successful attack was just a natural occurrence. His pride took a huge hit.
"I think I underestimated you a little bit. But don't be happy just yet. I'm gonna be serious now." As he said that, he swung the spear and started to make the same piercing motion, but this time the lightning was fired at Jack.
This is a medium-range attack. Not only did the spear keep Jack away, this lightning made him even further away. His sword attack might be able to strike at medium range, but this was still a bit far for a swordsman at his cultivation level.
But he was not disappointed, he was actually curious to see how he could counter this attack from his own distance at the moment. Even so, he was confident that he could cover the distance, this was his training phase and he could use this spar to execute what he had learned.
He closed his eyes and his sword aura was released. He stopped relying on his eyes and limited his perception to his spiritual senses and that too only to the area of himself and his opponent.
His only sharp sword aura slowly turned soft. All this time, he kept dodging but he suddenly stopped.
He stood still and moved his sword. His sword light emitted sword light every time he moved and every sword light hit the lightning accurately repelled the attack.
The movement is very fast and fluid. He used not only his spiritual senses, but also his skin and instincts. He could feel the faint ripples of air as the spear moved, he was able to block every movement without even moving his legs.
Every lightning strike that came at him was deflected and after ten moves, Jack stepped forward. He slashed the sword diagonally and the blade hit the spear head from the side and deflected it, but what happened next shocked the attacker.
Sword light curved around the spear shaft as it moved forward like a snake and deep wounds appeared on the opponent's palm.
"Ohhh...."
Blood began to drip as he felt an immense pain. He dropped the spear with instinct. Jack opened his eyes and looked at her with a grin.
"You'd better use your strongest moves. Otherwise, there's no chance of beating me." He said with confidence. However his inner was not that calm, as his spiritual energy would soon run out. After all, he was not a great natural cultivator and he did not have the same amount of spiritual energy stored in his core.
His movements might have been effective all along and he had not received any damage, but his consumption was not low. Every attack coming from an opponent required an enormous amount of energy from it to be deflected.
So, he taunts the opponent to let him reveal all his cards and the trick works. The opponent grabbed the spear and said in a cold tone.
"I wanted to catch you early, but now I will definitely kill you." He gritted his teeth and held his spear with both hands.
Jack was also getting ready as he changed his attitude, he looked at his opponent with high concentration as his grip became harder.
The opponent, began to concentrate his spiritual energy on the tip of the spear and the sharp spear head was enveloped with even sharper lightning almost making the sword invisible.
"Style of the Lightning Spear, push Tempest." The opponent muttered these words and shouted. "Dead."
Jack closed his eyes as the spear headed towards him. His spiritual energy formed around him and turned into countless sword light. His grip on his sword tightened with a deep breath, he made a piercing motion with his sword.
The sharp sword light let the tip of the sword and followed it, the sword light left around it headed towards the opponent.
The ends of the two weapons collided and both exploded. But the sword light did not stop, they flowed like a river as they walked towards the opponent. Sword lights slashed at him left and right as they bombarded him from all sides.
Ten sword lights, only one received a direct attack and nine attacked the opponent. Tearing his skin in many places.
But Jack didn't get away without punishment.
As the dust settled, people saw two people lying on the ground. Jack's stomach has a large round hole that exposes his damaged muscle fibers. His ribs were broken and he vomited blood. He supported himself weakly as he stood with his sword.
His opponent's situation is worse. That person had exactly nine torn wounds on his body.
One was in the upper chest, two on either side of his abdomen, two of them were for cutting veins on the wrist, two for cutting veins on his leg and two more on his thigh.
Jack made sure that he did not hit the vital signs, but it was still impossible for him to make a move.
Jack stuffed the pill into his mouth and slowly walked towards his opponent.
"Who is your name and purpose?" He asked weakly but his sword was placed on the opponent's neck.
"I am from the Lightning Spear sect, you cannot kill me. If you kill me, you will be hunted by my sect members." He didn't forget to threaten Jack.
"Ah, really?" Jack smiled and looked into his dead eyes.
"I want to see how they're going to hunt me, Goodbye." With that, he thrust the tip of the sword into his throat, ending his life. He took out a spatial ring walking back to the waterfall. After healing his wound to a scab and recovering some spiritual energy, he returned to the waterfall to cultivate.
