Chapters 102. Take Action

Sam and his team-mates did not move at all. And they're not the only ones who haven't moved. There were still some people who just stood there without moving.

But Sam did not leave the beast alone. He tightened his grip and forcefully opened the beast's mouth and put his hand inside. Before the beast could do anything, he instantly fired a small fireball continuously.

The beast began to moan, but soon it stopped as the burning smell spread.

Sam finally stood up and the rest of the team, quickly advancing forward to support him. But he refused.

"Don't touch me." Sam said and went towards the beast. He used the wind blade to cut the beast and immediately found the token.

"Don't touch the carcass. Go back to camp."

Sam gave the order and immediately ran towards the river and jumped into it without a second thought. He started swimming and scratching his entire body at the same time. He just returned to camp after an hour.

And the camp was completely in chaos by the time he came.

He saw some people fainting in that place and some people bleeding from their mouths. He went to their camp and saw that his teammates were all inside.

"What's going on? What kind of animal is that?" Philip was the first to ask when he saw Sam's half-naked body completely red from scratch.

"The beast was named Myriad mirage Chameleon. These ferocious beasts were usually not that powerful, but at situations where spiritual energy was scarce was a nightmare.

This beast was a bit strange compared to other chameleon-type beasts. Most chameleons roam alone, but this one will travel in groups.
