Chapters 357. Attack on the City

Philip was on his way to capture Arman along with a team, meanwhile, Arc was preparing to return to the Imperial Capital so that he could better organize the troops.

But at this moment, they got a call about the sudden appearance of the church followers out of nowhere. There were a total of fifty cities attacked and the city of Sam was one of the main targets.

With those words, he left with the city guards behind him.

The first thing they did after reaching the city wall was to see how many numbers they were up against.

When he saw that, he felt dumbfounded. He had not expected to see so many people outside the city walls attacking blindly.

There were more than two thousand people when they counted on all sides. Philip could already guess how they came here. Since they were already tracing around and even within the forest, there were no space gates at all.

A one-way space gate is the only way. But he has another question. Large countries only had simple one-way gates where they could send at most one squad of people. But now, Old Yang, the former head of the planet's Pharmaceutical Association, could obtain the Space Gate with such a large capacity.

Philip brushed aside his thoughts as he began to organize the city guards on the wall.

Once Sam's project is complete, each town has an Impact cannon on its city walls and Sam's town has more.

Every time a follower nearly died, the nearby follower absorbed the energy of that person and the person who was supposed to die became an undead and was thrown into the city to cause an explosion of the undead.

"Don't stop after you've taken a vital shot, if you see a dying person, shoot him once again. Don't show mercy."

Along with the bullet casings, there was a rain of Methane grenades that were occasionally thrown into the crowd.

Just like that, two thousand people were easily shortened with cannons and weapons within an hour. The war did not even cross the city walls and was almost over. There were some followers who grew their cultivation in battle who survived normal grenades and they were too loose to shell Impact.

Philip had already given orders to stop train service for a while and the train was at the station without passengers.

Watt who was closest to the station went on the Silver wind to see the situation and when he got to that place, he could confirm that these were signs of an explosion of the undead.

They immediately walked towards the tower.

At this moment, the entire city formation was activated with the tower as its core and several layers of restrictions could be seen forming as all the defensive formations were activated in an instant.

Sam who let out Black smoke and his body experienced some phenomena, suddenly opened his eyes.

However when he opened his eyes, he felt his entire body weak and turned wary towards his surroundings. He remembered nothing but the fact that he was using the transverse Shadow world and was corroded by the energy of the shadow world.

The last thing he remembers is examining his own body before bringing Watt, Philip, and Jack out of the divine dimension.
