Chapter 437. The Last Whirlpool

Sam closed his eyes and concentrated on the hologram. He could see an ice figure that had an aura far stronger than the other ice figures he was facing.

He has no plans to continue. All of his senses were cut off and if he were to handle this with a battle of attrition, he was not sure he would be able to deal with the ice figure before his mentality was drained.

After all, it wasn't easy for him to maintain the hologram for a long time. At least not when he was outside of a divine dimension like this.

He had to be a Nascent Late Stage to use the hologram for more than an hour without suffering any mental damage and he was far from that level. He had to go back and concentrate on his mental training if he wanted to use it extensively.

After all, the function of the table is not just limited to holograms.

He shook his head from this thought and started thinking about how to deal with the current situation.

He had a large amount of methane and he had a large number of energy cells and spirit stones, but would he be able to deal with it without suffering any damage?

Sam could think of no other way to deal with this situation. He could only detonate a huge energy cell, but he would definitely fly and reach an unknown place.

After some time, Sam felt very tired and decided to take another approach all of a sudden.

He activated the fusion of the water element as he dove into the water. He kept the sign and since he was already wearing breathing equipment, he did not have to worry at all.

After diving, he let the whirlpool take him in, in fact, he swam in the same direction to increase his speed of entering the whirlpool.

The water pressure increased and he could feel an ice figure manipulating the surrounding water to make his body ache.

But the attack wasn't severe. It was almost as if the ice figure had only stopped him from escaping from the whirlpool and it would be fine as long as he remained in the whirlpool.

But the truth is different actually. The main reason his attack was not severe was because Sam activated the fusion of the water element. Although it is partial and only about sixty percent, it still has resistance to such attacks.

Sam did not care about what would happen to him or how long he could last but from the looks of it, he could bear it for some time. He actually cut his signal with a hologram and he stood in the eye of the whirlpool. He began to utilize the water element to the extreme and controlled his body to stand still and avoid spinning.

He took out the highest level methane canister he had in his hand and slowly leaked its contents, but he did not allow the gas to spread everywhere, instead he created air bubbles around the methane gas and started filling it.

The Ice figure looked at Sam without doing anything. It was intelligent and could sense that Sam's aura was weakening and not caring too much.

This is what happens when intelligence is trained. Although Ice's figure was clever, he didn't have enough sense to think that Sam could change his aura and this was all just a trick. As a matter of fact, Sam bet and he won this time.

He deliberately reduced his aura so that the ice figure would not concentrate too much on him. Being smart enough is not enough, experience is important and though, that ice figure can gain experience over time, Sam feels that not many people on the planet are taking this ordeal which makes it easy to be fooled.

After forming a large enough bubble and make sure it will not burst due to the flow of water. He had spent most of his spiritual energy to control the flow of water and the flow of wind. It had been a long time since he had used two elements simultaneously.

After some time, he placed his finger inside the bubble and ignited the methane.

A huge blue flame appeared underwater and the cylinder was still continuing to drain the gas so that it would not be easily extinguished. The intensity of the flame is very high and the temperature of the water increases rapidly. The Ice figure suddenly felt a rise in temperature and tried to lower the water temperature.

But he realized that it was too late, right now, for the water to be too chaotic to be controlled. The whirlpool was nearly destroyed due to a gas explosion that caused the water to flow profusely in all directions and due to the sudden rise in temperature it was difficult for the ice figure to move.

As Sam holds the gas cylinder, he sees a figure of ice descending towards Sam.

He swam with his spear so he could attack Sam directly. But the heat in the water makes it hard for it. Icy's figure could feel his body melting slowly.

Sam grinned when he realized that the ice figure was coming towards him and even though all his other senses were gone, he could feel the pressure coming from that person, he said, he suddenly stopped the flame and at the same time took out a formation disc.

This was a high-level formation that could block a few blows from a Pre-transcendent cultivator. It was made by one of his new recruits. That person was only a Nascent stage cultivator, and a late stage. But he can still create it.

He was one of the elites under his wing. Due to the sudden loss of flame and gas flow, there was a small air gap that appeared in that place and Sam immediately activated a formation that blocked the entry of water.

He crossed the fog and entered a safe place similar to the one he entered after the first test.

He landed on a rock and started eating so he could recover his energy. He's very tired.

He paid no attention to anything else as he ate to his fullness and lay down on a rock as he tried to sleep.

He did not want to think too much about anything else while he rested.

After a long time, he woke up, but it was already night. He decides whether he should move or not. But after some time, he decided to stay here for tonight. He'll have a fresh start tomorrow. He's held on enough for today.
