Sam looked at the animals. The four beasts were standing on four different trees as they looked at the three of them. The beast was called the Monkey Warrior. The name itself is quite clear. They have no elemental abilities.
They are like ordinary soldiers. Their bloodline was also limited to their innate attacks, but that weakness was covered by something else and it was their powerful physique.
Their physiques were so powerful that they were comparable to high-grade metals. It was very difficult to cut off their bodies and even if someone hit them, they had to receive some serious damage due to the powerful counterattack coming from their bodies.
Moreover, they had an innate resistance to elemental attacks, and no matter what element it was, they would not work so easily on their bodies.
But this is not their main advantage. Their advantage was their extraordinarily terrifying understanding of warrior battle skills.
Coupled with their innate control over their bodies, this understanding allowed them to grasp battle skills, such as swords, swords, fists, kicks, movements, spears, sticks, etc, or any other form of physical battle skill with ease.
All they have to do most of the time is look at the technique a few times and they can easily replicate the skill.
All this information came to Sam's mind. He didn't want to face the four of them, even if he had to join the other three, which was actually impossible, Sam didn't want to face them in groups.
He might be able to handle two of them and if they were three, he could hang on and fight for a stalemate, but if they were four, Sam only had one choice.
His body shone with a golden light and he slid past leaving the remaining two there. The Monkey Warriors were stunned as they had not expected Sam to make a move like this.
They didn't expect this at all. Two of them immediately chased him. They're actually fast enough, so fast that they can always keep Sam within visible range.
Sam also sensed that he was being chased. He had only activated partial fusion but he was still fast. Elemental fusion is not a good thing. It consumes a lot of energy.
Sam is frustrated when he sees monkey warriors who use their incredible dexterity to harness the trees to their advantage. The terrain benefits them. Sam may mimic some of the monkey's movements and be able to move by utilizing the terrain, but he will never be able to match the real monkey.
He noticed that the monkey that came to him was a spear user and the others were the first users.
He was a little relieved by the fact that only two of them were following him, not the four of them. But he didn't want to engage in close combat with them unless he was completely cornered. The damage he could receive in battle would make him a target for others.
And lucky for him, he was always ready because of his paranoid overthinking. Sam keeps his staff and makes sure that he doesn't travel in the direction of others.
He pulled out two guns.
As he ran continuously, he suddenly took the diversion and climbed up the tree, and slid back towards the monkey warrior.
If his opponent was a cultivator, they would be caught off guard, but Sam noticed that the monkey warrior was very calm, the monkey fist user stopped and stood on the ground, the spear user took it as support as he climbed up. on his shoulder and jumping straight up intercepted Sam's trajectory.
This time it was Sam who was dumbfounded. He made this move because he realized that there were very few trees and the monkeys had to run around on the ground.
He wanted to shoot the monkeys from the top position so that their heads would be vulnerable coupled with the element of surprise.
But to his dismay, there was no element of surprise and the monkeys even let me off guard.
He changed his shot and shot the spear monkey, but it didn't matter. The bullet was made of metal and caused almost no damage.
The monkey did not even bother dodging and swinging the spear, Sam increased the rate of fusion and changed its trajectory. He was almost a beam of light and with a thought, he was diverted to the ground barely avoiding the swing of the spear.
He fell to the ground, but he did not stop, leaving a small crater that burned the surrounding grass and leaf debris, he started running again.
He understood one thing, he had to use a collision crystal bullet or an Energy cell bullet. Otherwise, there was no way he could have done any form of damage. For close combat, his sword and claws might have some form of effect, but there was a risk of revealing his identity and also, he had never used his weapon in public and only used it in a few places.
Even in the beast faction, he used a sniper rifle. This gun will be useful for him in this test. They were also easy to hide when he used them in battle.
He could use it to fight from his comfortable distance and he would not have to risk revealing his identity and the other great powers would have no reason to choose the Beast faction.
At this moment, the Beast faction was his business partner so there was a need for him to ensure that they were safe and sound and maintain their status as in the six major powers.
Sam looked at the two apes who were still following him. After running for fifteen minutes, he finally stopped his steps. He pointed the gun at the monkey. They were in an area surrounded by rocks and there was a river nearby.
Sam looked at the two apes, who also stopped their steps and looked at him. The spears threw spears straight at him. Sam easily dodged, but to his surprise, a Fist Monkey appeared right in front of him at this moment.
He crossed the distance in an instant, almost as fast as the Phantom steps Sam used. Sam hastily dodged the attack and he could barely move back as he lost the blow with the width of his hair and he pointed his gun at the Spear monkey as he fired an Impact crystal bullet that hit the spear that ran towards him.
The explosion made the spear divert and the ape seemed confused for the first time. They did not expect the bullets that they did not even want to avoid from the start also seemed to change at this moment.
After several dodges, Sam finally realized how frightening it was to deal with these monkey soldiers. They were creatures from the higher realms and although he had a lot of theoretical knowledge about them, he had no idea how difficult it was.
Just based on pure estimation, he felt he could handle two of them. But these are not ordinary animals and they work well together.
They are even smarter than some humans.
Sam took a deep breath after dodging several movements and spears in succession. He decided how to proceed and his body was surrounded by black smoke.
Sam suddenly disappeared from that place.
The monkey's eyes widened and both made incomprehensible sounds. However they fail to realize that a shadow is moving and appears some distance away from them. Sam reappears and before the monkeys realize it.
Weapons are fired continuously.
The monkeys were hit by a collision crystal bullet at the same point. Their flesh was so sturdy that even this burst of spiritual energy was not enough to pierce through it.
But Sam didn't stop. After the initial blow, there was a continuous bullet attack and after ten shots, the first monkey finally fell.
Sam was really surprised. The Spear Monkey is gone and only the fist monkey is left. His defense was even stronger than that of the Spear monkey.
Sam kept his gun and took out his wand.
Since he made sure that there was no one near this place, he wanted to see what he could do in close combat.
He swung the stick and targeted his head. The monkey dodged and carried out a body blow.
There is a continuous exchange of attacks and defenses. The wand Sam had was made of ordinary Sixth Grade metal; it was not special in any way.
After some tough fights and receiving a few punches, Sam finally defeats the monkey.
If anyone saw this battle from start to finish, they would think that Sam was very stupid. Because, half of it was absurd, because if Sam could use a shadow transfer, why would he bother running that far?
If he could continue firing a gun, why would he avoid it and use a stick?
That was because Sam was actually not looking for a battle with these two monkeys. The whole battle has been an experiment.
The whole battle was to measure the various aspects of the monkey warriors. Sam knew very little about the Monkey warriors and there was nothing he knew about how they worked in groups or teams.
He had no idea how good their fighting instincts were or how good their strategy would be.
So, he tried to figure it out himself. The first thing he did was, look at how well these monkeys were chasing. He deliberately changed his travel speed by varying the rate of fusion and started the chase. He could now estimate how good they were at preserving their energy.
Then, battle instinct. He climbed up the tree and jumped back to attack them. To guess their battle instincts. But their instincts turned out to be too good to fall into his trap.
It also gave him a rough estimate of their trust between them, their teamwork perfect.
He wanted to see how much of an advantage shadow and weapon transfer was and how effective the bullet was.
Finally, he estimated his normal defensive abilities against monkey attacks as well as his brute force attacks with ordinary metal sticks on monkeys.
He measured all the monkey warrior factors that could affect his battle and survival in the near future.
