Renjana Kanya's
It was a hot Monday. Not only due to sunlight, but also because the meeting room is suddenly tense. The discussion goes on without a consensus. Mas Hanung insisted that the news must take steps to anticipate, if at any time the virus is being discussed - spread quickly.
While Mas Tama - the managing editor - has other views related to the news for the next week. He wants us to work on the economic and tourism sectors that might feel the impact most quickly, if we see the world's unhealthy conditions due to the pandemic.
It was a really exhausting Monday. The two men were still arguing and there was no sign of reaching a consensus. Vina and Deni, who were sitting flanking my right-left side, were half-hearted with the intention of asking me to mediate the heated debate.
I stared at them alternately with glaring eyes. Could have thrown me as bait. Do they not know, entering the arena of debate between Mas Hanung and Mas Tama, is the same as making yourself the best target to fire their ammunition. Especially if you are not looking for the right opportunity. I don't want to get involved. Let them argue until they realize there are pairs of eyes that observe them with a block.
Actually Mas Hanung and Mas Tama rarely disagree. Mas Hanung is not a typical leader who is stubborn and forced his will. He can easily receive input from the men if it is necessary and important. Tama is like that too. His intuition seeing the surroundings could not be doubted. The results of the report are always sharp and well planned. The topic he chose was always interesting and not quickly stale even though it was presented two weeks later.
It's just that moments like this can happen two or three times a month. Want to show and clash wit if I say. All just want to be seen if you still have an existence in the office engaged in the field of print media.
Deadlocks. Discussion ceased. Still haven't found a deal. I can't wait any longer. Don't they know it's lunchtime and the worms in my stomach have been protesting since?
"Sorry Mas, why is not everything made into a plan headline anyway? The point is that we are both about the virus. Elements of anticipation of entry, economic, social and cultural impacts also enter."
I can't bear to not make a sound. I saw the faces sitting around the table suddenly look relieved. Like giving up their last hope of getting out of this hot room, to me.
But it's not that easy. Mas Hanung still defended his argument. He even re-enforced his back which was originally propped up on the chair.
"It can't be dong, it's. None of our countries has been positively confirmed. Different again if there is a positive case dong."
I smiled at Mas Hanung's reply. I began to understand what that man meant. Mas Hanung just wanted to argue. There was an allure that he had to channel in order not to settle into the mind for too long. Maybe because of the riskier job of Mbak Sinta compared to him who is more silent behind the chair. As far as I know, the woman is still flying to countries that allegedly have contracted the virus originating from China.
"Mas, even though it has not been confirmed positively, however we have also exhausted the impact."
"Well, that's what I mean! We're talking about anticipation because there's an impact that follows!" Mas Tama again voiced from his seat opposite Mas Hanung.
"Well, what's important is the order, bro! We discussed the anticipation first, and then the impact followed."
"Well, where could that be. We've got the impact now, Men. Well, I said, Kanya."
The debate between Mas Hanung and Mas Tama is back, with me as the trigger. Now, a stern look was not only cast on them, but on me as well.
"Okay, I want to know what my friends think. However, we will also jump into the field, collect and write reports. So who agrees Mas Hanung, Mas Tama or both advice as I said."
"I said it couldn't be reported together, Yes," said Mas Hanung ngeyel.
I subconsciously took a deep breath as it held in annoyance and looked at him sharply.
"Why not? Both are related to each other. Instead of having to write a report twice why not just one way? More efficient and energy efficient. All sectors can also be directly covered simultaneously. Next we just need to update every event that happens. Energy is not wasted and can be used to write other reports."
Neither Mas Hanung nor Mas Tama have disputed. They looked at me and seven other reporters, not including three photo reporters and two editors - who were sitting around the table. Until finally Mas Hanung made a decision, even though the look of his face was not satisfied.
"Okay, we're using Kanya's idea. Prepare all materials from tomorrow. Next I leave it to Tama" said Mas Hanung before ending the meeting.
I breathe a sigh of relief. Followed by Vina's embrace who thanked her for saving her lunch hour. However, in exchange Mas Hanung gave me the additional task of writing down his main report.

"Not come down lo?" take Vina as we return to our respective desks. Deni disappeared first. The man could at least endure the hunger.
"No, I'm going to start" I replied, pretending to be busy in front of the computer. I hid the box under my desk.
Who else makes it if not Araz. Arriving at my apartment, he was busy in the kitchen and made me lunch. He wouldn't let me peek at him at all. So, I don't know what Araz has prepared for me either.
"Oh, would you like to eat with your brother?" goda Vina while raising her eyebrows.
Oh yeah, I forgot to tell my son. After the meal, I'll call the man before reporting me to the police on charges of kidnapping, missing persons, or anything like that.
"Ih, kepo. Just go over there. Bursting at lunchtime" I said making Vina's lips pout. However, still he moved from his chair to go to the cafe on the lower floor or maybe a row of restaurants not far from our office center. "Btw, can you nitip avocado juice? Ordinary kayak..."
"No sweet, no milk, little sugar. I have memorized it. To nih ntar."
I just laughed in response to Vina's statement, before the woman actually left the room.
After the atmosphere was completely quiet, I took out a paper bag from under the table and took out a bright blue sea-colored stock box. For some reason, my heart was so blossomed just by opening up the provisions of Araz. Ah, that man, no matter when it makes my heart often feel happy.
In the past, I often imagined being the main character in a manga or anime series. At lunch break open the provision of a favorite person. I didn't know there would be moments like that. In fact, that moment I'm experiencing right now. In front of me has lunch of Japanese comics.
Two onigiri wrapped in smiling seaweed, a cute octopus-shaped sausage, a soft-textured egg roll, and chicken and vegetable pieces such as carrots, chickpeas, and beans, and broccoli mixed with chives doused in sweet sour sauce, into a complete package of lunch. Quietly makes my cheeks feel hot.
A short message tucked in the place of spoons and chopsticks, made my cheeks even more heated. I never knew Araz could be this romantic. Is it true that she has never dated before? Where did he learn to be romantic?
On a whim, I photographed my lunch and sent it to Araz.
Anya
Thank you for lunch, Mas. Btw, I like the phrase the most. Thanks though.
Notice once again a piece of paper that says "I know, my cooking can make you fall in love. So eat and love me forever. With love, Araz." it's with a fluffy smile. Why does reading it make my heart feel warm?
Wire vibrates. A message from Araz.
Alcatraz
Oh yeah? I can see anyway. You enjoyed your lunch so much that it made you smile so sweetly.
My head reflexively turned its head after reading the message from Araz. The man was standing at the door of Mas Hanung's room waving the device at me. The smile that made the tip of his eyes wrinkle, imprinted on his face.
I hurriedly looked down. I feel my heart beating faster than it should. However, my lips still developed a smile. Gosh darn. Is falling in love this sweet?
If there is a mirror in front of me, I make sure my face is very red at this time. Araz is unpredictable and always full of surprises.
