Welcome to You

Renjana Kanya's

Two more hours I waited for Araz. However, the plane he was on still had not landed. My arrival was faster than the means of transportation that brought the man from Jakarta. In order to get rid of boredom, I chose to wait at the cafe to enjoy a cup of coffee while answering the message sent by Araz.

Actually when I told him I had entered Sidoarjo, I had reached Juanda. Even I left early just to want to quickly meet him. All the flights were scheduled and Araz told me what time the plane took off.

It's just that I was too excited to welcome the arrival of the man. Even when Mr. Ratno offered to take me, I refused him on the grounds of stopping by somewhere with Araz. Son looked at me with a fierce look when I decided to pick up Araz alone - again. After earlier dropping off to Juanda when he returned to Jakarta.

Says the Son, "Seriously you want to pick up Araz alone? Don't you want me to go?"

"Seriously. Near this doang. Not even four hours. You also have to prepare for tomorrow's tour, right? Already, just focus the same preparation Nada Sumbang. I'm used to long trips alone."

I'm crazy to take you to Araz. There he will definitely frown throughout the trip. Instead of making my relationship with Araz improve, it only makes things worse. Imbuhku in heart. Because we have agreed to continue the story with a different book. Then there is no longer a story that requires us to be sweet and make paper with each other, if the end of the story has been guessed how. As much as possible, I avoid frequent contact with the Son, in order to maintain my sanity to stay healthy.

"Are you okay with picking up Araz alone? If you need friends and do not want to be escorted by Mr. Ratno, let your brother just deliver, Him."

"No, Dad. I used to drive long distances by myself. Let alone Surabaya, even until Jakarta I have been," I said boasting, but not necessarily make Eka's father trust me.

"Why not just delivered Mr Ratno anyway, Him?"

"It seems like Dad needs Mr. Ratno more. Did he say he had to travel to some places today? Mama can go home today too, right?" I'm looking for an excuse. Still dodging how to keep Putra from being forced to take me to pick up Araz.

"But, right, it's ... ."

"Well, Kanya used to bring her own car. Don't take Kak Putra as well, Kanya's a regular."

Eka's father also doubted my ability to drive long distances alone and asked the Son to accompany me. I was even a little suspicious, what caused the middle-aged man to so tenaciously draw us both closer together. There's no way he has any thoughts of blessing our relationship after opposing it with the most absurd scenario, right?

Huufftt .. I let out a long sigh as those bad thoughts suddenly filled my mind. Where there is such a story, maybe Eka's father just wants to see his children get along well. Neither I am with Son nor baby Victor.

Gawaiku. Breaking up the daydream that we had discussed this morning before I left for Sidoarjo. Araz's name appears on the screen. He reported that he had arrived at the arrival terminal. I hurried up from the cafe chair and headed for the cashier after ordering two glasses of warm coffee as a hand for Araz.

"Do we want to write a message on his coffee cup, brother?" ask the cashier before I move out of front of him.

"May, write this down in his cup huh, Mas."

I pulled out a paper and wrote a sentence that was timid on my chest.

Welcome, you. I miss. I love you.

"Make her boyfriend, Mommy?" ask the cashier prank.

"I'll take it, Ma'am."

I smiled broadly as I moved out of his presence to wait for the order. Let Araz wait for this moment. My wait is longer than he's probably just a few minutes away. Although actually my feet tremble because I want to run towards him and hold him tightly to anchor a long longing that has not met.

As a cafe waiter approached while carrying my order, I hurried up from the chair. I hurried to the terminal door of Araz's arrival.

Out of the hundreds of people that passed by, I could find him. The tall, skinny man walked while dragging a suitcase. In his right hand hung a medium-sized backpack. Seeing her appearance wearing a black sweater behind her shirt and blue jeans, making Araz look younger than his actual age. His hair that had been rather long passed through the collar of the shirt, was left in a mess and was only covered with a hat matching the color of his sweater. The white sneakers complement Araz's appearance perfectly.

If the casual style like today, Araz is really similar to the cast of Train to Busan. I didn't even blink when I saw him walking towards me. Her charming smile made some people look towards her. And I don't like it. Especially since the steps we met, the man's gaze was only on the coffee cup in my grasp.

"Buying domestic products is better, right than helping overseas entrepreneurs who mushroom here?" my comment was when Araz grabbed her from his grasp. And instead of being grateful, the man just stared at the coffee cup as if he was researching carefully what I did not understand.

"Or did Mas Araz prefer one that was labeled female? Want to change for the others?" I still don't get an answer from Araz. It is just a hai greeting. I wanted to hug her after not seeing her for so long.

"Bawel really. Hugged me here first" Araz said suddenly as he carried me in his arms.

No matter the place, he put his suitcase and took me in his arms. A few eyes glanced at us. There are even those who clearly stare with a look of uneasiness or dislike. I was embarrassed by people's gazes. However, Araz didn't let me out of his arms.

"Mas, shame. This is a public place."

"Belvin. Coughing at your own boyfriend, too, not someone else's. What's wrong with trying?"

"Yes, I don't know, either" I said behind Araz's chest, which today smells of sandalwood mixed with spruce sprouts that had just fallen in the rain.

"I love you too, Kanya. I miss you too, don't I miss you."

My body stiffened in Araz's arms. Before finally relaxing and gently hugging the man. I smiled while hiding the face on his chest.

"Old Araz mas. I'll see the clock know the wait."

"Well, harvest dong if that's it. Can be sauteed with vegetables or same dipepes coconut. What if we had dinner just like mushrooms?"

"Mas Araz, ihhh .. that's not what I mean either."

Araz laughing. He pinched the tip of my nose in an agitation before finally walking towards the parking lot. The sun was already slowly laying down its body on the western horizon. Its dim light makes the atmosphere even more boisterous with the cheer of longing. In his arms I felt calm.

Welcome, you. I really miss. Greetings.
