Season 2 #Chosen Woman

"Hi, sorry for waiting so long. There's something I'm talking about with Dad" Araz said as he emerged from behind the tree where he was hiding. He looked at her and smiled. Looks so sweet. How could Araz replace her with another, if his smile had calmed her down.

"It's okay. Just relax, Mas. Anyway, Cassandra's pretty interesting to talk to."

Hearing Kanya's words, Araz showed a surprised expression. He did not want to be considered eavesdropping on the conversations of those who actually talked about him.

"Oh yeah? What are you guys talking about?" araz fishing rod. He wanted to know if Kanya would tell him what she was talking about with Cassandra.

"About Mas Araz. Moreover. He's here 'would indeed want to meet Mas Araz, '" said Kanya does not sound like usual. His tone was somewhat elevated, even though he was trying to cover it up. And, Araz knew, the girl must have been upset by Cassandra's sudden appearance and messed things up. Even including himself. Clearly, Araz was most upset with his maternal cousin.

"May I upset you even more by telling you who Cassandra really is?"

Araz started the conversation with a question. However, he will tell a story that is quite long and may be quite annoying for Kanya. At least, Araz had to wait for Kanya's willingness to listen to her story so as not to bore the woman. More willing to accept and understand about his relationship with Cassandra that Araz never wanted.

"Old stuff, huh? I'm hungry, Mas" said Kanya innocently and made Araz laugh.

Araz glanced at the clock that was coiled around his wrist. At seven in the morning. Kanya had complained of hunger. The girl was used to having breakfast on time. To start a strenuous activity, the body must be conditioned to stay fit. Moreover, his work in the field of media is not something that can be underestimated. The mind and energy must be thoroughly prepared so as not to bother yourself while covering events on the ground.

"Okay, let's have breakfast first then. Eomma must have prepared it at the dinner table. Hold on, yeah, if anyone makes you feel uncomfortable at breakfast."

He smiled at Araz's words. Actually, he's not really hungry. The night before Kanya had eaten so much that her stomach still felt full. It was just a trick for her lover to delay telling her about Cassandra. At least he needs extra strength to hear the story of who the real figure of Cassandra who suddenly came and called Araz as her prospective fiance. Kanya just wasn't ready for a broken heart too early. Though he's convinced Araz can't break his heart.

"alright. I just need to thicken my ears when I hear unimportant chatter, right? Yeah, I hope he doesn't dominate the dinner table."

Araz patted Kanya's head slowly. Then he invited the woman into the house. As she expected, Cassandra was already sitting on the dining table chair with her mother, father, and also Jenna. As he had expected, the dining table atmosphere looked gloomy with a face for Cassandra that he was not trying to cover at all. Maybe he had just argued with Jenna, because the face of the teenage girl was not happy.

"Kak Kanya, sit next to me" said Jenna as soon as they reached the dinner table.

"I can't dong. Beside me is empty. He should have sat closest to the host dong." Cassandra interrupted her cousin's sister's conversation. It was obvious that he was planning something against Kanya.

"Dih, sori aja yes, I will not give permission Kak Kanya sitting next to you. I know what you're planning" he added, drawing closer to Cassandra. "Sir, sit beside me."

"Heh, little boy ... "

"You remember the rules at the dinner table, right?" bagaskara's heavy voice stopped Cassandra's sentence. Although he looks not like it, he follows his uncle's reprimand not to make a sound when at the dining table. While Jenna stuck out her tongue because she felt defended by her uncle.

"Sit here" Jenna whispered to Kanya and asked the woman to sit next to her. Kanya complied and sat down to Jenna's left. Cassandra sat to the right of the teenage girl. "If Kanya's sister was sitting next to Cassandra, I'm sure, Auntie's cooking would be bland."

Kanya smiled and thanked him in response to Jenna's statement. She knew very well that Jenna was trying to protect her from Cassandra's obsolescence. That woman must have had a way to make Kanya look humiliating in front of Araz's parents.

"If you have returned to Jakarta, you must buy me a meal. Okay?" whispered Jenna again.

"Trust me, it's a trick that won't melt the hearts of Uncle and Aunt" Jenna told Kanya. Looks like Jenna caught the discomfort on Kanya's face when she saw Cassandra's treatment.

Across the table facing Jenna, Araz seemed to also imply the same match. Kanya smiled faintly. She was grateful that there was Jenna beside her who was capable enough to comfort. At least he didn't feel burdened by Cassandra's attitude.

"How was his sleep last night, huh? Wakeless?" bagaskara asked in the middle of breakfast so he noticed the cloudiness on Kanya's face. The man knew very well, Cassandra's attitude certainly made Kanya feel uncomfortable and Araz was too misbehaved to give moral support to his lover in front of them.

"That's very sad, Om. The house is comfortable" Kanya replied.

"Thank God. By the way, don't call Om, dong. Call me Dad, let's be like Araz, "Bagaskara's advice makes Cassandra bully. However, he did not dare to protest when he saw the sharp glances of his uncle. Araz's mother, who was sitting side by side with the child, seemed to agree with her husband's idea.

"True, you should also call Eomma. Duh, it's nice to have a daughter. You know, Eomma wanted a daughter a long time ago. But Eomma's condition made it impossible to have any more children after giving birth to Araz's sister. Try, call Eomma."

Araz's parents' warm welcome made Kanya misbehave. It does not make him feel victorious from Cassandra, but it gives its own burden for the woman. Especially with the request of those who want to be called father and eomma. It's getting wrong.

"Eomma."

Kanya hesitates to comply with Araz's mother Lee Haneul's request to call him eomma. It sounds so weird. His tongue was not used to speaking Korean even though he had learned it while still in college. Or occasionally watch movies or dramas on the recommendation of Almira. However, seeing Araz's mother's response, Kanya believes her pronunciation is not as good as the woman's expectations. Even so, the woman remained friendly and seemed happy to hear Kanya calling her eomma.

"Omo, I'm so excited to hear that. Araz would often come home with Kanya. Eomma wants to take Kanya for a walk."

"Dad also hopes you come home often, Raz. You will never know how lonely we are because there is no one else in this house. You want us to talk every day alone or occasionally with Karjo, Parman, Pariyem, or Mbok Siti?" bagaskara said their housekeeper. While the child just smiled thinly while scratching the back of his head.

"That's right, Raz. Kanya will also be happy if you play here. Yeah, right, Him?" said Araz's mother increasingly makes Kanya wrong behavior. He couldn't answer if he still felt awkward. Although he enjoyed it enough during his stay at Araz's parents' house.

Kanya was sure, her face now looked very red. Especially when Jenna whispered in her ear.

"I'm sure very well, Kanya's sister must be the chosen one. Just look at the response of Uncle and Aunt who want to confirm Kak Kanya's whereabouts here. Take it easy, sister, Cassandra is no longer a tough rival if they have chosen Kak Kanya. Brother just needs to prepare a passport for a trip to Korea."

"You mean?" ask Kanya in a whisper.

"Sister will know soon enough," said Jenna the mysterious pretender. Unfortunately, that made Kanya even more curious.
