I looked down, the water looked so clear there as if it had never been polluted by anything. Standing up straight again, my eyes looked at the surrounding area, it was clear that this place was quiet, there was nothing but trees, lakes, and meadows.
My head was looking up, staring at the bright blue sky up there at noon today. The wind blows strong, sending a coolness that makes calm. As if about to grab something, my right hand extended upwards for a moment.
Everything just passed by, I pulled back my hand and started to look down again. "The water is very clear, but is there anything special here?"
For a moment I was silent observing the small water ripples in this lake. Yes, it is not a strange number, because there could be fish living here.
Yet, somehow I was drawn into it. And, the pull was so strong that I could barely resist.
It's weird, why from here can I feel some kind of pull from there? Is there anything special at the bottom of this lake?
There's no guarantee that my guess is correct, which means I have to make sure of it myself. However, as long as I am already there, can I go out again? If you have to be stuck again, it is better to give up than now.
For a moment I took a heavy breath and then sat cross-legged on the dry meadow. Although adjacent to the lake, this area of grassland is not moist, probably due to summer.
My mind now began to drift, reminiscing about how I lost my precious friends. The first victims were Wolf and Ellise, then the second were Mischie, Rias, and Lize. It turns out that fate is very cruel to me.
My eyes were closed, the coolness of the breeze could still be felt by me despite doing nothing. Slowly I opened my eyes, the bright light of the sun momentarily glared at me, but then it was no longer so.
"Why cruel reality torments me, how much more should I suffer?" I wanted to cry, to ask the strong to survive. "It seems, my only penance is to solve the mystery of this forest and then come out alive to find the meaning of my presence."
I stood up, once again I stared at the ripples of the lake water while enjoying the breeze. Immediately I picked up the long rifle on my back and then poured it forward, where there was nothing but trees and lakes.
Suddenly, the water ripples were more and more, my legs unconsciously took a few steps back. My eyeballs were wide open, staring at the huge creature ahead.
His body was tall and wide, and he had 9 dragon heads. "Wire, could this creature be the guardian of the lake? But, where might this empty and useless lake be guarded by him."
From the sky suddenly something appeared. However, I don't know what it is. When I turned my gaze towards the big monster earlier, I hurried back.
"Ouch!" I hit something, but I can't see it. "What is this really?" I tried repeatedly to hit something invisible in front of me. It seems that this is a barrier, is it from magic? I can't believe magic really exists.
I ran, down the place I considered to be the other side of the invisible protector. Whereas up ahead there were trees so I could hide, but now I am trapped in a protector right in front of a huge monster.
"Damn! What am I supposed to do now?" The situation is getting more tense at the moment. The huge monster seemed to have noticed my presence and was about to attack.
Running as hard as I could, I now slammed back into the back after hitting an invisible wall. It sucks, immediately I got up and turned to the left, down the transparent side of the wall.
My breathing grew breathless, my running rate also slowed down as time went on. Sweat washed away the body, and the nine-headed monster approached me slowly.
Can't keep going like this, I have to retaliate. Rifle out to the monsters, my determination is already round in order to continue to survive in this mysterious forest.
Several times the sound of gunfire echoed, the bullets from my rifle immediately shot at the big monster there. I jump, aim carefully and shoot.
No matter how many times I tried, it all seemed to be in vain. My shot did not work out, and instead only made the monster grow irritated.
"Damn!" Landing on the ground, the quiz returned the bullets into the rifle then ran.
But something terrible happened. One of the animal's heads opened, from which came a cluster of light that formed a fire. He pointed his mouth at me. "Great!" I tried to keep going to avoid his attack.
Late, a burst of flames shot straight towards me. If the fire hit me, I would be reduced to ashes.
Although it had no effect, I crossed the long rifle in my hand to the side, right in front of the monster. If there is luck, maybe I can survive. Otherwise, it's enough to just get here on my journey.
Everything was suddenly dark, my eyes closed, unable to see the continuation of destiny. If I die today, I don't care anymore.
